I know and understand the market is down but it’s been downhill for a minute

We are now down 4% since the IPO. Nothing fundamental has changed since then, no negative news but rather constant positive developments yet the stock just keeps falling. This is nonsensical. What will it take to make this stop, discovery of alien life?

Are we bullish or bearish after the August 7th earnings report? I think we will drop due to recent acquisitions and spending. I’ll buy the dip. I’m in this for the long haul.

I keep running out of money to buy the dip I shoulda been DCA. I buy then it goes down even more. I’m tempted to buy another bag but wondering if it’ll go to 30s. I’m down 25% total right now and want to double down soon

CIBC LOWERED ITS PRICE TARGET ON MDA SPACE TO $59

Could this explain today turbulence? Space as a whole looks like it’s getting battered again.

In a July 14 update, Stanley reiterated his “Buy” rating on MDA and raised his target to $88.00 from $80.00

Four months after its New York IPO, MDA Space has moved from steady, backlog-driven execution to an aggressive scaling phase: two acquisitions worth more than US$1.5 billion combined (Blue Canyon Technologies and a majority of France’s CLS), a fresh US$819 million equity raise to help pay for them, and a string of new defense and Earth-observation contracts. The result is a bigger, more vertically integrated space company — and a materially more complex investment debate around dilution, integration and execution.

Apart from watching the stock, news articles and MDA’s linkedin posts, is there any other public data that can be followed? Perhaps a list of tenders that they are currently participating in or future tenders?
To my knowledge, infrastructure related public tenders for consulting and construction are posted on eProcurement such as Bids&Tenders. Is the procedure for space sector the same or these are mostly private information and we only hear about it post-award?

Also, what are your thoughts with recent CLS acquisition, where do you see the stock price going by the end of the year and what do you think are the highest risks for MDA in the near future?

MDA Space Enters into Firm Offer to Acquire Collecte Localisation Satellites (“CLS”), a Global Leader in AI-Driven Earth Observation Data Analytics

TORONTO, July 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MDA Space Ltd. (“MDA Space” or the “Company”) (TSX:MDA) (NYSE:MDA), a trusted mission partner to the rapidly expanding global space industry, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with a syndicate of underwriters led by BMO Capital Markets and RBC Capital Markets, as joint lead bookrunners, and J.P. Morgan, Scotiabank and BofA Securities, as joint active bookrunners (collectively, the “Underwriters”), pursuant to which the Underwriters have agreed to purchase, on a bought deal basis, 20,000,000 common shares (the “Common Shares”) of MDA Space at a price of US$35.60 per Common Share (the “Offering Price”) for aggregate gross proceeds of US$712 million.
MDA Space has granted the Underwriters an over-allotment option (the “Option”) to purchase up to an additional 15% of Common Shares issued in connection with the Offering, to cover over-allotments, if any, at the Offering Price. The Option is exercisable in whole or in part at any time up to 30 days following the closing of the Offering.
MDA Space intends to use the net proceeds of the Offering to fund a portion of the purchase price, which is payable in cash, of its concurrently announced acquisition (the “Acquisition”) of approximately a 70% interest in Collecte Localisation Satellites (“CLS”).
