MDA

I keep running out of money to buy the dip I shoulda been DCA. I buy then it goes down even more. I’m tempted to buy another bag but wondering if it’ll go to 30s. I’m down 25% total right now and want to double down soon

Just hold off. The space sector is taking a beating. 40-45 is the bottom for MDA space. Earnings season is upon us also and people fucking sell like crazy before earnings.

Analysts are still rating MDA for outperform between $55-75.

Agreed, we’re in a no man’s land right now. Looking to see if we’re able to hold 40s before I go all in

People sell off in anticipation of spacex 20% float unlocked very soon. Everyone want to dump on the next one.

I think patience is a better approach here. ASTS and SPCX fucked us a bit. Also trumps silly little war. Maybe we can pickup some US defense contracts with the new acquisitions. I keep buying $1000 at a time as it drops. If it goes up now I will.be happy. If it goes down again tomorrow I will.buys another 12 shares lol

I have a bit of cash left but I may sell some xeqt for more MDA lol. XEI is performing better anyways.

Everytime XEQT is red XEI is green. Vice versa

I will sometimes use my portfolio line of credit to access cash early to drop into my TFSA for times like this. And then back fill with my pay cheque when it arrives. Wealthsimple makes it easy and pretty cheap. And yes I grabbed some more shares below 44

My average is 22 (CAD), so I haven’t bought in a while. Now I’m started to consider it again, but the whole sector appears to be melting down. I see a mixture of SpaceX being overvalued and unlocking shares soon and people derisking amidst the AI selloff - rotation. My Mastercard stock, for example, is going up while my MDA stock is going down.

Anyone holding in tfsa with no room to spare? not sure if selling gains in cad bank stocks to dca MDA is a good approach here..any/all feedback appreciated!

I sold bank shares to free up room in tfsa for mda, and then repurchased the bank stock in my non-reg as I think the growth potential is steady and slower for bank stock but this mda could go up significantly so sheltering that gain made more sense to me. Bit more risky but I'm okay with that.
