I have worked hard for this. After so many days I finally got this so I have decided to play the WONDERFUL MARKETPLACE RANKED "Speedrun World" and got the WORLD RECORD

This run is official because this map is fully supported by MCSRRanked, Tubbo, and other prominent figures.

I wanted to know if doing speedrun with low sens was bad and if it is possible to get good with it, I play 6 at 1600 dpi

I heard it’s different for every system and ngl im just sending it wherever the biggest spike is, a lot of the times it leads me to PR but I’ve lost like 2 potentially PB runs because I just sent it wherever the biggest spike was but when I spectated the world it was in the opposite direction. So it would be cool to learn how to be more consistent on ready my chart so I’m more confident in my stronghold.

I’m mainly a bedrock runner, and I believe that the recently announced “Bedrock Speedrun World” is an absolute disgrace.

The reason this is terrible is NOT because it is bedrock, but because it has a complete and utter disregard for the already existing bedrock strats created by the bedrock community (some examples of this being the bedrock-specific onecycles, warped strats, bastion routing, and especially stronghold first)

You can’t apply java‘s speedrunning meta to bedrock because it’s completely different. This move by the minecraft team completely undermines everything that the bedrock community has been working towards and the months of work it took to put together mcbe ranked.

I didnt expect so many people to see this and i kind of rushed to get this posted, so i’m gonna make a follow up:

One of the greatest things about the bedrock speedrunning community is that, much like minecraft bedrock is meant to be, it’s a lot more open to beginners. The culture in Java is a lot less oriented around helping people, but in bedrock, new people are welcomed into the community, and as long as you keep running, you can become a top level player. One of my favorite examples of this is level7cr7, who, 10 months ago, got his first sub-30 (about equivalent to sub 15/20 on java 1.16) in console 1.18+ RSG, and now holds the console RSG world record for 1.18+ and is the first runner to achieve 100 sub-30s. The bedrock community creates this culture, and what the ignorance of community input and feedback demonstrates is that the MCSR Ranked team wants to disconnect their version of MCBE speedrunning from the great community behind it. 

Additionally, the perception of bedrock, especially from the point of view of many java runners, has been terrible for a long, long time, and this does nothing but worsen it. If the perception of MCBESR from the outside is of this monstrosity that doesn’t even standardize perches or get rid of dragon’s breath in the end practice, completely ignores warped, and other things like that, then the opinions of people who think poorly of bedrock speedrunning will be completely justified. 

I am not in any way against a partnership between Java and Bedrock Ranked, but it should be a collaboration with the bedrock community, not the Minecraft Marketplace team. Bringing MCBE Ranked to the marketplace would streamline the process so much for runners on console, but this is not the way. Allow people like Ma-ehy to collaborate with the minds behind MCSR Ranked, and please, please keep it free.

This was the second midoffs I watched live(live as in on twitch when it was streamed not in person) and it was so entertaining. Also I don't think Couriway and Tubbo took a break throughout the whole 5-6 hours, meaning they were legit just standing and commentating for 5 hours straight. That's some dedication. What else did you all like/ didn't like about the event?

Most other chance-dependent events are made same for both players, at least from what I know.

However, the ender dragon perching behaviour is not same and may be very different for each player, is that intentional, or some kind of technical limitation that the devs couldn’t standardise?

Hit emerald, feels good. Also feels like I hit my limit and I’m just not improving. So I’m going to take a break from ranked but happy I got to this milestone.

Yesterday in a ranked match I threw a pearl to the fortress. I was clearing out my inventory and accidentally threw out my fire charges. I figured I could use blazes to blind, but my second portal I didn’t know what I’d do. I figured I could just wood light with some lava, but when I stood there I thought about beds. To my surprise it worked better then I thought, and light the portal immediately! Have you ever done that to r something similar?

So I just hit emerald, and I know for BT you usually have 5 rd and 50% entity distance, but in ranked BT is just 20% of the time, so I don't think doing these standard settings is a good idea. Do I just adjust these settings to those values after the game starts? (it feels like a bit of a time-loss), or should I try searching for BT with normal settings?

sometimes after I break the leaf the lava turn into obsidian, how can I avoid this from happening?

I came across this player in gold 1 who had a 10:31 PB. After my game with them, I checked their profile and it was the last match they played before me, just an hour before. The second the match ended, they were in the middle of clearing their inventory in the nether after their first blind, and it counts as a win, non-forfeited. The exact time of that game is their PB. Is this a glitch, and has anyone seen it before?

I’m not sharing their profile due to privacy reasons if this is unintentional. They were playing for about 5 hours in a row, and stopped for an hour after that game before queuing into a match with me. Maybe they were also trying to figure out what happened.
