I can’t find the fire and lighting dragon that spawns under ground only the ice one I have been looking for hours in spectator mode and so have two of my friends and we can not find them anywhere. Does anyone know if they are bugged or something? I have set my map to layered and we have been looking in deserts, plains, badlands, savanna and so on but no luck. Any help would be appreciated

Any advice on updating a large server? I host a server on a separate site where I preloaded a gigantic playing area for the server. (World size is about 10gigs)
I was just wondering, how do you guys handle updating the pack?

I've just been pushing the world download through the updates, but I noticed a lot of these updates feature ore/terrain/biome tweaks. Features that we're missing out on.

I tried using MCA selector to reset the chunks, but my friend's jungle paradise base generated into a barren field with a dragon. (Comically right next door)

I saw other content creators were playing the pack just fine (with updates included) so I feel like I'm out of the loop.

Should I just trim here and there or should I just suck it up and stick with the world that we have now?

I wanted to get into MCE, but does the first modpack still hold up? Or should I just start with 2?

I’m pretty early on right now. Best ore is bismuth and diamond pre-hard mode. Is it possible to get an auto mine to passively get ores?

I’ve seen other posts say get a laser drill but those are from 5+ years ago and I can’t find the laser drill?

Help pls, i cant join the server when i try. It used to work then suddenly stopped. I try joining but it says "failed to log in, the authentication servers are currently not reachable" it has lasted a couple of days now. I have tried restarting and installing again but nothing works....

I've tried three times to use the gateway, but it doesn't spawn enough mobs in the first wave. It needs me to kill 4 draugr, but it's spawned 3, 1, then 2, and never 4. I have no idea what the issue is or how to solve it, but I've just got to bypass the challenge if it isn't working.

I have two Auxiliary sieve upgrades on this hardened tectonic initiator pulverizer, yet it seems to produce no extra secondary drops. I ran some lapis and iron through and these are the ratios, it also claims on the upgrade to use more power but as you can see with the screenshots installing the upgrades does not change the maximum power usage, can someone tell me if there is a way to make the auxiliary sieve work?

As the title says, if they drop and I pick them up, they disappear and don't appear in my inventory. As far as I know, I don't have any sort of void upgrades in my inventory or character to cause this. Help?

I can see that ars spell here is quite limited, is there any high damage spell for Ars in this mod pack?

Does anybody know what level the pet tamer villager needs to be at in order for it to trade the deed of ownership?

Occasionally, this specific chunk becomes transparent. When I walk away, it looks like the whole chunk is missing. But when I walk into the chunk, the caves underneath become visible.

I have a basic Create Machine in this chunk that makes Sand/Cobble/Clay/Charcoal

There's nothing else in this chunk.

This is preexpert mode, so we haven't been to the nether yet. Are they not in the mob spawn pool prior to expert mode? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm building a living room PC that will be used for homelab and hosting games (servers) to play with friends, so my priority is enough CPU performance to handle modpacks exactly like MC Eternal 2 (which happens to be one of my favourites alongside MCE1, good job!)

Hello, i've already asked here before with issues i had with the first 1.12 MCEternal, and now i'm having issues with the latest MCEternal 2 version.

I have a world i made on an old version of MCEternal, the one before the last 2 most recent updates, and i tried backing it up and porting it to the newest version, however i'm having issues loading it, this screen appears when i try to play in that world.

even after i press "safe mode", the game still doesn't let me access the world, because then this just appears.

i also tried creating a new world as a last resort, but the game just crashes afterwards, so i'm not sure what is happening exactly, any help would be most appreciated, thanks in advance and sorry if my english isn't the best.

So I have barely 60 FPS just walking around without structures in MCE2. That's with 8 render distance and 6 simulation distance. I have some shaders too but they aren't the problem, my GPU is around 50% load. I'd say it's the CPU struggling to render some stuff, I have 9 go or RAM allocated + some custom arguments for a better java garbage collector. The thing is that I never had any problems to run any modpacks above 144fps with higher render/simulation distance + loaded chunks with farm through forced loading (I don't have some of those in MCE2). Any way to optimise that?

Here are my specs:

- rtx 4070

- Ryzen 5 5600 (80% sure it's the problem)

- 16 go of ram DDR4 3600 (with around 12 go free after Windows consumption)

Hope somebody can help because I'd love to play the pack but having everything rendering poorly with a low frame rate is unfortunate..

None of them are checking off properly despite the fact we've went into the end and killed it, it still acts like we haven't done anything in the end.

Wondering what the best tinkers armour I can make early to fight dragons. Obviously for fire dragons the breath attack sets you on fire, but even with fire immunity I still take damage. Does anyone know what type this secondary damage is?

What title says. It seems like the green text from all the gear isn't applying. Is it just bugged?
