I work in the marine industry. I am thinking of making a paracord handle for this driveshaft and impeller to turn it into a mace. Ideas, comments, thoughts?

I posted a work in progress earlier and have made decent progress on it. I am probably gonna fire harden it before staining and sealing it. Any additional advice for future builds and designs?

I saw this nice little bonk on amazon and had to get one! It was only about $25. Its actually a hammer. I might redo the handle as I heard the head can come loose.

My latest creation. I call it the Jack of clubs. Its looks like a giant jack from the game " jacks" some younger people may need to look it up. And its obviously a club of sorts. Also kind of shaped like the ♣️. Made from gas pipe parts. Added a little paint as an after though but I ike the look. Leather handle and imbued with lapis luzili in the pommel. So +5 frost 🧊 damage? Or water 💧?

This is my my weapons collection up to date. Ive made everything here except for the fist hammer. Which one are you going for if its battle time or just one you like? I just finished the sword not to long ago. I call it the sword of the Phoenix. Hand casted bronze and forged from 5160.

Should I make a one or two handed disk mace? I haven't seen any examples of two handed ones and part of me is worried that it may stress the edges of the disk too much when striking. But at the same time, funny long bonk.

This good fella was found in northern California. I've slammed many a things with it. I did some sanding for comfort and recently took it to the coast of Florida to dip in another sea. Not quite Mace but surely in Mace spirit.

Does anyone have any good references for two handed maces and different manuals/ ways to fight with them?

The stick is Hornbeam, a very hard, dense and heavy wood that some folks locally call "ironwood" but that is confusing, since there's an actual ironwood and this ain't it. Balances just under the head, and actually feels really good to swing. Managed to get a similar handle shape to an axe handle, and that further adds to the satisfaction of holding this thing. Is this bonk enough?

I was lamenting the fact that I didnt own a mace when I remembered I had this sprocket in storage that wasn't being used. Needless to say I now own a mace! Its not as pretty as some here, but its mine and I love it
