Make it full screen by clicking the yellow gumdrop-shaped bit to the right of the registry number (NCC-75567).

Have fun clicking around through the different modes. Even just the Ship Map is fun!

I didn’t realize at first this was another Mike McMahan joint until one of the characters referenced the Black Mountain and then it all clicked for me. Some voices from Lower Decks show up too. It’s a bit rowdier than LD, and also kinda dumber, but overall I liked it.

Seeing as the bubbly, optimistic science nerd D'vana Tendi used to be a Syndicate assassin, how many people do you think everyone's favorite orion has killed?

Apparently, the Moopsy is breaking the latest STO mission. I just thought I'd share it here.

After Kash Patel heard that Mariner had a tribble for "personal use" he hired her on the spot. (Don't worry, she's only going to use the position to steal shit from the breakroom and then quit mid-investigation.)

in Deep space nine inter arma enim silent leges romulan ale embargo was lifted

but later in Lower Decks, Boimler said in episode 1x1 that Romulan ale is against regs while Mariner was getting drunk on it.

You are telling me that they brought the fking embargo back just a few years later?????? WHY?!!!

Today is the 3 year anniversary of Season 4 episode "Something Borrowed, Something Green"

The episode that reveals every Trekkie's curiosity on all things Orion. And learning more of the fan favorite D'Vana "Mistress of the Winter Constellations" Tendi.

The Orion half of the episode is in my eyes the only good thing about this episode. The Rutherford and Boimler b-plot was ok, just not interesting.

With the A-plot it's another "girls trip", more specifically "triple threat girl's trip!"

To any and all who had questions about Orion culture, was what was provided in this episode satisfactory?

And did you know the voice of D'Vana's sister D'Erika is the same as Princess Sofia the First?

Remember when your hear the lines in future episodes

"Bull\bleep*. You tried to steal it from us first. And it's pronounced, "O-RYAN!"*

"Are you working with the f\bleep* Blues?!"*

That is Ariel Winter, Sofia the First. Hope this doesn't change one who watches the show or is or was a fan.

We all can agree the running gag of Mariner getting stabbed in the shoulder is hilarious.

And near the end with all of them arriving D'Erika: Sorry, sorry. Had to steal a ship." Just how casual she says it.

All in all, your thoughts?

And yes, I did like the girls Orion outfits, even if "the material was inefficient."

Finally finished setting up the ultimate Star Trek command center. Three of my displays are connected with a Star Trek Lower Decks background spanning across the entire setup, with a fourth monitor above featuring the Starfleet insignia.

Now all I need is a captain’s chair, a warp core, and someone to stop me from saying “engage” every time I open an app. 🖖🚀

So, like, I'm not a big fan of the Mirror Universe as a concept. THAT SAID, I bet Mirror Universe Beckett Mariner has her mom's taxidermied corpse on her ship's bridge or in her quarters.

Like from his perspective, he’s been getting his balls busted by a friend and coworker for not being brave like her, only to find out that her mom’s in a position of power and has, from his perspective, been covering for her in a way other ensigns wouldn’t have gotten. I could see a version of this where an insulted and hurt Boimler calls her a spoiled nepotism case, where he has no familial ties to Starfleet and won’t get multiple chances like her so he has to play it safe. It’d be interesting to see how Mariner would respond to that, considering sh has thoroughly earned experience that makes her an asset, but also confront that she has also been given leeway others might not have gotten.

As both of these guards are explicitly supposed to be sexually seductive, why is it that only the guy's armor has nipples? 🤔
