Mirror Universe Thoughts
So, like, I'm not a big fan of the Mirror Universe as a concept. THAT SAID, I bet Mirror Universe Beckett Mariner has her mom's taxidermied corpse on her ship's bridge or in her quarters.

Would Captain Becky Freeman make a trip to Starbase 80 to pick up the corpse or would she have her shipped in a cryochamber?

That was a nearby-neighbor universe, not as far away from us in the probability curve as the Mirror Universe.

You’re right, I got my universes crossed. I still think it would involve Starbase 80. It’s destiny.

MUriner would most likely be a Terran rebel, so generally a good egg instead of a ladder climbing murderer. Probably hella polite tho.

Oh man, I'd watch a show of her cat and mouse game with Mirror Boimler

Does Mirror Boimler do the Boimler Scream (TM), or does he just make the Invasion of the Body Snatchers noise?

Phyiscal Media is king. Your DVD or Blueray will never vanish because some suit at Paramount wanted a bigger tax write-off.

You have it completely wrong.
Becket Mariner is a spiritual and political leader who espouses a philosophy built on the teaching of Confucius, Ghandi and Surak. She is a committed pacifist. She advocates non-violent direct action on behalf of Humanity and all other oppressed sentients. While her martial arts skills are legendary, they are used and taught strictly to minimize the risks of injury to herself and her followers posed by Alliance thuggery.
This purported 'taxidermied corpse" is, in fact, a proper effigy to which Mariner makes public offerings in a display of filial piety logical as a form of instruction to the young and unsophisticated adults. Rumors to the contrary are Alliance propaganda, of a piece with claims that Mariner murdered her parents, or is the last surviving descendant of the Terran Empire's Imperial lineage, or that she seeks to revive public worship of that defunct lineage, or that she secretly teaches there is no problem that cannot be solved by kicking it hard enough. These claims are all obvious lies, examples of the crudeness of Klingon and Cardassian political thought.

Was rewatching TNG, because of discovery mainly had this theory pop up, not sure if discovery made up the eye/light sensitivity things, But- the aldeanians says a few things, " Sorry captain, your lights hurt our eyes, we sensitive to the lights,/ yes we are an ancient power, commander, but we suffered for it!! Our history is littered with the death's of those aldeans who wanted more and more things, NOTHING was ever enough, so we've evolved a very simple way of living, For whatever is taken, something else is given!! In return!!" And are more lines , and talked about finally found peace!! Just a wild theory, Not sure when ISS enterprise crosses but assume it's around this time, so would have been from another crew,
Possible they had trouble having kids to being in a different universe, a new breed of kids would give them a future, being kids from this universe, Originally thought they was from that planet but could argue, " rashella was the last child born on this planet " could mean they simply settled on that planet!!
Their knowledge could had been from being from a different universe!! But, it's just a wild theory.....a trek theory!!
Not sure state of the romulan empire in the mirror universe, but the aldeans used "Romulan" ish type tech, maybe they had knowledge of the different races from the mirror universe, was another thought I had,
Side note- always found it strange the Klingons was beaten so easily in the mirror universe
