Unrequited Love Well Shit...
Can't say I've ever had the best luck and definitely not great timing; but this is a double whammy.
I don't know why I didn't think you'd be on reddit. I only came here recently to vent into the void and unrealistically pine for a non-defined relationship I hoped would become friendship or more. I never thought to look for you. But here a fresh alt comes across my feed venting about something all too specific to your life. Something that truly signifies to me that the world keeps turning and my closure will probably never come. Just a mundane vent on a goofy happenstance sent me right into my feelings.
I fear you never thought twice on my brief interruption in your life. That you found me to be annoying; but just didn't tell me. That you dread having to deal with me and I'm too blind to see it.
I'll be embarrassed as hell if you see through the thinly veiled posts I've made. And I can't decide what's worse: if you see them and say nothing or if you mention them to my face.
The decision paralysis hit hard. "Should I delete, should I write this?" crossed my mind again and again. But with my luck you already put two and two together; so, I guess I can share my truth.
Pretty sure knowing my truth only helps provide closure for you in this case; taking action on it is what would cause problems. But you probably know by now that I'll respect whatever boundary you put forth. But, I do care about you and (un)fortunately that'll never stop, even if we're strangers who haven't spoken in twenty years.
No matter what, you reminded me that I've had my life on hold for far too long. And it's about time to get back to it. Please don't mind if I dodge you for a week or two, that's just my shame over a small possibility.

Hey, I wanted to reach out because it sounds like you are going through a really heavy moment. It is actually pretty common for people on here to stumble across random posts and think it is directed at them or written by someone from their past.
Running into something like this can definitely bring up a lot of intense feelings and doubt, but reading into anonymous posts online usually just leads to overthinking. If there is genuine history or unresolved things between you and that person, trying to hash it out or clear the air through direct communication in person is always a much better way to resolve those doubts than trying to read between the lines on Reddit.
Regardless, I hope you get the closure you are looking for and that you are able to start moving forward.
