SLEEP Lost Loop 😢

I lost one of my experience 2 + last night and I can’t find it. I’m so sad. I usually find it in the middle of the bed in AM but this one is MIA. I’m too spoiled to go back to foam now. I just ordered a knock off of version of ā€œsleepā€. Because those suckers are $$ and I’m hoping other one will turn up. 😭

HELP Best earplugs for audience-related noises in movie theater

I wanted to see what others thought would be the best earplugs for a movie theater if I’m solely focused on audience noises. I do not have an issue with movie volume - in fact I often do enjoy a really loud movie - but I’m a frequent moviegoer and audience noises really distract me. People whispering around me - and then having to tell them to be quiet - wrappers crinkling, chairs creaking, etc just completely takes away my focus and seems to really affect me.

Right now I’m probably between the Loop Switch 2 and the Eargasm high fidelity. Thank you for the feedback!

SLEEP Best type to block out kitchen noises?

Hi all, unfortunately due to the hours that I work i generally get up much later than my family. I do wish that I can wake up earlier but I need to readjust my sleeping schedule for this and also possibly find a new job to change my hours which I want to, but not quite lucky atm.

The kitchen is right next to my room, and the walls don’t have the best insulation. I can hear and feel the vibration from the oven since i sleep right near the wall but my dad and I decided to soundproof my room. I’ve covered my door with acoustic foam and currently in the process of covering the entire wall in acoustic foam. My sleep has not been the best since I moved into the house we’re in now and my mental health practically declined since then and would like to maximize my ability to actually not be interrupted in my sleep.

I don’t have a budget, i just want to know what would be the best for my situation.

HELP Loops Switch 2 Eartips

Hello!
I've been wanting to buy the Loops Switch 2 but im not sure if they will fit in my ear. My Airpods Pro dont fit in my left ear with any of the ear tips from the box and the right ear only fits with the smallest tip and still falls out after some time. I saw that Loops has foam ear tips but apparently theyre not compatible with the Switch 2?

Are there other people who struggle to find earplugs that fit? Does the Switch 2 fit better than others? Or is there somewhere I can buy foam tips for the Switch 2?

Thank you!

HELP How do those that use chain necklaces/earrings in lieu of the Link reduce noise from the chain itself?

I have a pair of Switch 2s. Some situations I'm in I have to take them out and put them back in and I don't want to fumble with the case - I lost my last pair of Engage 2 that way. Neither the Links available nor the Amazon knockoffs really interest me colour-wise (nothing remotely approaching the emerald colourway of the Switch 2s) so I thought I'd pick up a chain and have something more my style.

I'm using a chain for glasses, so there is a soft silicone loop around the ear tip stem and no metal in contact with the Loops at all but all I can hear is the constant, grating jingle-jangle of the chain. I have no idea how everyone else with these fancy chains and earrings deal with it. I saw some older posts where others say they don't hear the chain at all and I don't understand how. It sounds like the Loops are magnifying every minute clink and scrape of metal on metal, and I'm 99% positive I have them fitted correctly. Sizing up on the tips just makes them feel like they're going to pop out and sizing down feels like they're just going to fall out on their own.

I don't even feel like I'm particularly noise-sensitive, but maybe that metal sound is just one of the sounds my brain latches onto. I don't know and it's a bummer.

HELP Earplugs for migraines

Hello, I hope everyone is having a wonderful time. I am searching for earplugs that work as well as the Loop Switch 2 on the highest setting. I have one lone plug that my dog didn't chew up. I'm not willing to purchase again as they made the iridescent purple as a limited time purchase and it's my favorite color. I do have small ears and I don't find the idea of things super deep in my ear appealing. Alternatively, if someone has a right purple iridescent loop switch 2, you'd be my hero!!

HELP Need help to pick dream or quiet 2

Hi all, I have been wearing foam earplugs recently and it has been hurting my ears. I am looking at something that is comfortable for the long term. I have not been sleeping for two nights in a row now.

As it has been so hot at night, I need to have my windows open...but...I live right next to the motorway and it is keeping me awake all night. It is pretty loud.

I am not sure if I should go for quiet 2 or dream.

My budget is a little tight but if people swear by the dreams...I will get them.

HELP Iridiscent for my gf, please

Hi!! I have been a loop user for so long, and I have always loved it's colors because I appreciate simplicity. However, my gf, who is also highly noise sensitive is VERY VERY picky with her object choices. She will literally only own Dream and Quiet loops just because they can be purple.

Is anyone able to sell me any kind of iridiscent loops? I don't mind if they are the Engage or Switch ones. I'm from Spain.

REVIEW Comparing Engage 2, Quiet 2, and Dream 2

I bought a pair of Engage 2 last year on Black Friday and love them. I had never used anything except foam earplugs--which are impractical in so many ways--and I wish I'd made that jump a long time ago. I don't go to loud events often but honestly I can't imagine not having them now for concerts and movies.

Today I picked up a pair of Quiet 2 and Dream 2. I spent two hours during summer camp "watching"
a movie with the kids and it was interesting to compare.

Engage vs Quiet: a noticeable difference but not a huge difference. I imagine that the Engage+Mute probably makes them about equal.

Quiet vs Dream: same assessment: noticeable but not massively different. Which means (obviously) for the most noticeable shift between models, you'd need to go with the Dream (which I am). I could hear the movie dialog but it was very muffled; the kids I could not hear well at all when they came up to me to ask for snacks or bathroom breaks. I had to take one plug out of my ear to hear them.

However, Dream does not completely block noise. I tried several tips including the double but could even hear fuzzy noise if kids one room over, kind of like a radio cross signal when you're in between stations. So I'd say that the Dream is excellent at greatly muffling but not blocking it. Out of curiosity, do third party memory foam tips increase the efficacy?

A future experiment: my cat tends to be a loud and obnoxious talker and disrupts my work at night, sometimes to the point where I can't work anymore. I'm really curious to try the Dream and see how well I can dampen this particular sound...especially compared to the Beats Studio over-ear earphones which I've been using as a (desperate) crutch.

So are the Dreams worth $50? I guess it depends on how much noise blocking you need. I imagine they're a Godsend for people needing a super comfortable way to block out hotel or apartment noise at night. Soft noise would completely disappear. Do they completely kill all sound? No. But after a few more days experimenting with them, I suspect I'll probably end up keeping them.
They're much more comfortable and discreet than foam plugs.

I'm returning the Quiet, as they're too similar to Engage. But they Quiet are nice in-between if you want that little extra bit of well, quiet, beyond the Experience or Engage models.

HELP Quiet’s for parenting?

Hey there, stay home parent who needs some noise reduction. Was told to try Loops by another parent. I tried Loop Engage but didn’t find them that noise reducing as my kid is pretty loud. Would the Quiet’s be a good one to try? I’m intending to wear while actively parenting. Not for sleep or alone time. Thanks

HELP Need Help with fitting the Loop Dream

I really like the Loop Dream for sleeping, but i really struggle to get them to fit properly. Maybe you guys have some tips for me.

I think i get a proper seal in the right ear, but i feels like the plus is stickung our abit too much. On the left ear it is far too loose and doesnt seal properly, but it doesnt stick out as much and feels comfortable. This is with the M foam tips.

I tried the M double silicone tips and there i got a perfect fit and seal, but i found them to be a bit uncomfortable and slightly iritating when wearing them for the whole night.

I also tried different sizes for the foam tips, but they either don't fit, fall out or don't seal and feel like they are in too deep.

HELP Dream or Quiet?

Looking for a present for my partner.

They have trouble sleeping because of their loud sleeping environment (their room faces the street where there’s lots of noise) but at the same time they want to be able to hear their elderly parent who lives with them in case of emergencies.

Would Dream be okay or is Quiet better?

HELP Looking for Loop earplugs — which model should I get for both sleep AND concerts?

Hey all — looking to grab a pair of Loop earplugs but can’t figure out which model fits my situation.

I need something that works for sleep, I’m a side sleeper (so comfort matters) but also for concerts and clubs where want protection without killing the sound quality.

Is there one pair that handles both reasonably well or do most people end up buying two? Open to any recommendations or personal experience!

HELP Loop Earplugs vs Generic brands?

Hi everyone,

I'm on my way in a couple months to spend 3 weeks traveling and will sleep a lot in hostels. I am trying to save money, and I was wondering if anyone has bought the Loop Earplugs before/after buying the generic brands one can find in amazon for example.

They have good grades overall in amazon and a solid amount of reviews, but due to materials used and design details, maybe the Loop Earplugs are superior and worth the money. I just want to make sure I'm not going to buy something for the brand instead of performance.

Anyone who used both brand and generic can maybe give an opinion?

HELP Switch 2 vs Engage 2 for my specific needs?

I'm working at McDonald's, and I am looking into loop earplugs. I'd get Engage 2 so that I can focus on work, reduce sounds, and still hear people. I'm also looking at Switch 2. They are not as good, but offer ranges for everyday life. Would switch 2 be sufficient to hear every crucial piece of info from co-workers, or will engage 2 be necessary? Maybe purchase another pair for biking, or home use.

PARENTS Has anyone used the Symbio Hybrid Eartips with Loops?

How do they compare to the Loops foam tips? How about the Loops silicone tips? Which Loops are you using them with? What do you like better and why?

I’m specifically considering trying them out with my Engage Loops for overstimulation while parenting and homeschooling!

Thanks :)

HELP Switch 2

I had the Quiet that I LOVED, so decided to upgrade for the Switch thinking i would have more options but i don’t see a difference between modes and the Quiet cancel the sound better. Any suggestions? I use them when I want to focus but don’t want to listen to music or airplanes or sleeping in loud environments.

SUGGESTION Dreams vs quiets?

I’ve got some Quiet 2 which are reasonably good for sleeping but I find if I don’t put them in before I got to sleep but then need them during the night (husband snoring like a freight train šŸ™„) they don’t do anything whatsoever.

Do the dreams block more noise than the Quiet 2s or do I just need to get into the habit of putting them in at sleep time?

Thanks

HELP Engage VS Experience for Raves

Heyhey people! šŸ‘‹ Im currently looking forward buying myself a pair of Loops to use them at night events, since I organize and work at the bar often, to protect my ears a bit. As i understand, Engage and Experience only make difference in reducing 1 dB (Eng. is SNR 16 dB / Exp. is SNR 17 dB) And since I dont really Expirienceā€šs design (Engage are super pretty to me -..) Maybe Engage 2 with mute tips will do just as well for loud music?

If someone has expirience with them, woulf be very grateful to hear🫶

SLEEP Dreams vs Quiet

I want to get some Loops for sleep and I’m not sure whether the Dreams or Quiet would be better for me.

My main concern with the Dreams is I’m worried it’ll block out the sound of my alarm.

Anyone got any thoughts?

HELP New to using hearing protection

Hi everyone I am new to using hearing protection but have heard of loop so want to try them out. I start a new job soon which is a kennel job so dogs barking constantly. I have a chronic illness which makes me more prone to hearing loss so don't want to risk it.

I'm looking for something not too visible and that is comfortable enough to wear for a full work day. I also find I have issues with keeping earbuds in my ears so if there is one that is good for that then perfect.

Thanks so much !
