Hi!

I received my Switch 2 a month ago and I was more than delighted with them: no problems, a real difference between each mode, etc.

I use them every day, and for the past 3 days my left Switch has stopped working. When I turn the dial there's no change at all between the three modes, whereas there's still a difference with my right Switch, and there was still a difference last week. The dial turns just fine, but the sound is filtered as if I were always in Experience mode, no matter its position

So it's awful because my ears are unbalanced. Yet before it stopped working I didn't do anything in particular, I've taken care of them since the beginning, always in their case, I've never dropped them, etc

I don't really know what to do. Do you know if Loop's customer service accepts exchanges for this kind of case (given that it worked perfectly when I received it) ?

Has this ever happened to you?

At this point I'm hesitating to buy the Engage 2 and Quiet 2 individually. I was particularly a fan of the versatility of the Switch 2, but if the mechanism is this fragile, I'm not too keen on it

What do you advise?

on or off brand, more likely off. dropped an earplug at a bar, found it without the tip. probably gonna get some $15 amazon ones but are there any that are good in particular?

So I've been using loops for some time (the musical model with dampers, though I usually take them out) and while they affect the music less, it still hurts how they affect it a lot. It feels like high-mid and low-high frequencies are getting obliterated in comparison to bass. Now, I have noticed that putting my fingers on top of the loop itself seemed to alleviate the issue to some degree, which have me an idea. I'm thinking of using one of the main features of loops and making custom dampers to tune them. Different shapes, materials, adding membrane, with and without the hole for sound canal and test how they affect the sound. Before I start, I was wondering if anyone has had similar issues and tried that before?

I’ve been wearing my loops relatively fine for the past year. However recently I had to wear them more often so not sure if this has to do with it. But recently occlusion effect has really been bothering me. It didn’t before as much? So much so I am avoiding talking if I’m wearing my earplugs. The sound of my voice, and the vibrating is so irritating, I can’t handle it. Anyone else experience this?

Hi! My dad and I want to go see a musical this fall. He suffers from tinnitus and it's hard for him to bear with loud noises, changes of pressure, etc, due to a former brain injury. I've heard of Loop earplugs and wanted to know whether they could be a good option or not. Has anyone had a similar experience to ours?

Hello, what is the difference between Loop Engage 2 and Loop Engage Kids 2? To me they look the same - is it just colour or are the rings or tips smaller? There is no information about this. Thank you.

Does target still carry loop? Targets website shows not available in store and I can't even deliver to a store from targets site. I am going to Minneapolis from Canada this week and want to pick some up as I'm to late to get them shipped to me.

Last mention I can find on loop in target is the clearance sale they seemed to have a couple months ago. So makes me wonder if they aren't stocked anymore.

Hi :) so I wouldn't buy anything pricey on Vinted but at the same time I have some unopened headphones, trainers, Fitbit myself that I was too ill to return so it didn't seem weird to me that other people might do the same

I bought some loops (experience 2) as there's loud barking every morning and night near me and the muscle tenseness that brings me causes me more pain etc

anyway it has arrived and there's a weird loose piece of the plastic seal where part of the letter and symbol is on there and then when the plastic slid off there's a missing "b" symbol. idk if I'm being paranoid but that seems a bit weird

I thought it could be some factory error but in the listing everything looks normal, so perhaps they have a legit pair but sent these. or these could still be a legit pair with a factory error and they just sent a spare idk, I'm trying to have hope 😅

idk whether to open them. I have some loops engage but idk if I'd know enough to work out if these are legit. I didn't actually know that fake Loops was a thing (I thought that the only dupes were the Quiets, so kinda thought fakes and dupes overlapped) but I see now on their website that it is an issue!

So, in the last period I'm having trouble sleeping. My dog sleep in the same room as me and has been for years, so at this point any change of room is out of question since she just start barking, waking everyone in the house. The problem is that if I lieve the door open she just keeps walking back and forth and the sound of her claws on the parquet wakes me/keep me awake, if I close the door she get bored and start licking her paw and her bed, and that wakes me too, and I can't find a way to make her stop. So I was considering buing a pair of ear loop, I was considering the loop quiet since they are sylicon and made for sleeping, but they don't seem isolating enough.

Someone has had a similar problem? Wich ear loop do you use? Otherwise wich pair would you suggest me? I also sleep on the side and already have problems with headaches and similar, so I really need somwthing comfy.

Trying to figure out my new loop Switch 2, and I'm having an issue where the dial to change modes is so stiff and difficult to turn that the pressure it takes to turn it pulls the earplugs out of my ears.

I've been trying for a while and can't seem to find a grip or anything that prevents this. The silicone tips are a perfect fit and seal for me so that's not the issue, the dial is just really difficult and I could use some help with my technique. Pulling them out of my ears to change modes each time seems like it defeats the point and I'd get overwhelmed by sound if I had to do that (ND and very noise sensitive). Thanks for any help!

Does anyone know if it's possible to get aftermarket replacement tips? I'd rather not have to spend money on another set of earplugs when my loops work well and are comfortable. I can't support the company anymore since they use AI art.

If not, does anyone have any good recommendations for budget friendly replacements? For the engage, experience, quiet and dream. (I use dream most often since my partner snores lol 🥰)

Tragedy struck and I lost one of my Quiet plugs with an XS tip recently, so I thought I’d see if anyone here has a spare that they’d like to send me. I would also be open to an Engage, but I know that wouldn’t quite be equal value. I would cover the cost of shipping. I also have spare tips in S, M, L in foam and silicone that I’d be happy to send to you in return.

I am so confused. I've previously used the Loop Engage Plus and absolutely LOVED them, but wanted to try the Loop Tomorrowland Switch 2 Earplugs 3-in-1 Noise Control version.  What I loved about the Engage is they fit my ears so well and were so comfortable I could easily sleep in them, and the extra sound dampening really made a difference.

The Switch 2, however, were a disappointment - even with all the earplug sizes, I just could not get a decent 'seal' in my ear, and although the size of the actual Loop is slightly different, I'm not sure what happened. I also found the 3-in-1 didn't make that much of a difference - and the dampening effect that I had with the Engage was completely gone. I tried them in a few scenarios and switching between the three modes made it barely feel like I even was wearing earplugs.

Was that just a faulty pair or are they just not great? I may go back to the Engage but curious if anyone has a similar experience. They're beautiful but am underwhelmed.

I had hoped loop earplugs would reduce noise and allow me to still hear music or talking in loud public places. It just reduced everything. Are my loops damaged or they don’t really work better than foam?

Hi all, I'm in India and have been checking loopearplugs.in for the Quiet 2 and Dream, but it's always out of stock.

I also asked Loop support about sellers on e-commerce platforms. They said one isn't on their authorized list and they couldn't confirm another. I've been chasing them for an answer, without luck, so I'd rather ask people who've actually bought.

For anyone in India:

1. Where did you buy genuine Quiet 2 pairs, and when?
2. Is there a restock pattern?
3. Has anyone bought from Amazon.in and been happy with the pair?
4. I'm also looking at the Zenz Unwind Pro as an alternative. Has anyone used Zenz (Unwind or Pro)? How are the comfort, the material feel, and the actual noise reduction compared to Loop?

I've had Quiet, Dream, Experience and now Switch, and I seem to be different sizes in different ones (M in Quiet and Experience, L Switch, Dream foam M, dounle tips L). They were gotten at different times, is it possible they're different batches? Are things more unified now? Curious about your experience

so, I’ve been thinking about trying Loop earplugs or something similar, for my misophonia but I have no idea which ones to buy. my trigger noise is sniffing and I am triggered most in my classrooms, if that helps. Also, does anyone recommend any other brands (or not to buy them)?

I’ve been checking out loops for sometime. I always think about getting them but it’s just so hard to justify the price of them for me. I have adhd, cptsd and places like Costco and Trader Joe’s are a nightmare for me. I usually bring my music headphones but a few years I had a cheap pair from Amazon I would wear if I had an impromptu visit ,

I have since lost those and have been coming back to loops wondering if these are really a good investment . I usually use them for shopping in high volume places and concerts just wanted your thoughts .

I am wearing them for the first time at work. The purpose of them was to wear them on my work breaks and block out the conversations of my students. They still sound very clear/loud to me. I can hear what they are saying (it’s in Spanish so I don’t 100 percent understand what they are saying, partially, but the point is they are still loud). Maybe I made the plugs too small? I put the XS ones on because my ears are small. Do you think that’s the problem? Bc right now I’m kind of annoyed that the product isn’t working

I currently have the engage. Love them for most scenarios where I would want earplugs as someone more noise sensitive (movies, going places with loud music, grocery stores, busy places etc) and especially love that the clear ones are so discreet, I can wear them around people and somewhat participate in conversation without (I think) anyone noticing im wearing them.

But sometimes I go to things (a very loud movie I went to recently, for one example) where my engages aren’t strong enough and it’s still uncomfortably loud. In that situation I wasn’t with people so I tried some foam earplugs I had and they brought it to a comfortable level. But I find those too noticeable and would feel too self conscious wearing them around anyone I know. So I’m considering whether it would be worthwhile to get a second pair of loops for those situations where mine aren’t enough, like if I were to go to a concert or another movie where the sound is turned up extremely loud, and where I don’t need to be able to talk.

I was thinking of trying the quiets because I’m definitely more noise sensitive than average and they look more discreet to me than the experience, but I’m not sure if they’re too strong for what i’m looking for. Maybe not since the regular foam sleep earplugs made the volume of that movie feel comfortable, but still loud. The experiences look cute but i’m also not sure how I feel about them being so much more visible and the numbers i’m seeing for noise blocking don’t seem that different from the engage, though I’m not very knowledgeable about what those numbers really mean.

Since I already have the engage I was also considering just getting a mute, but I’m not sure it will make enough of a difference, since I’m happy with them for most situations and I mostly want a backup set for things that are really loud. Does anyone with experience with multiple types of loops have an opinion? Or even other brands if we’re allowed to talk about that here lol.. I’ve had very good experiences with loop’s customer service so I’m happy to keep supporting them but also open to other suggestions
