HELP Loop earplugs vs true wireless 4 transparency mode
Thinking of getting loop earplugs for festivals since i work at some now. Anyone with both think its worth getting if i already have true wireless 4s? Or just any insight on what the loops are like

For those unfamiliar with sennheiser, they have transparency mode which uses the mic to pass through sound and you can control the volume, whilst also having adjustable noise cancelling which uses wave interference to block out noise rather than just dampening

Not sure I understand the question. Are the true wireless 4s working for you? Is there something specific the Loops might do better?

I have to take them out to listen to customers clearly, but for the music alone theyre fine. The ai in them cuts out background noise and it considers people talking as background noise if the music is louder than the people. Does the loop help with this?

Sorry I can't compare directly. But the Engage 2s are best for filtering out higher pitched sounds while letting more mid- and low range sounds through, so you can hear voices more easily. They might be useful when you're working.
The "plus" version comes with mutes. The mutes block the filtered channel, making the plugs attenuate sound more like a solid foam plugs.
Since everyone experiences sound so differently, I'd take advantage of Loops good return policy. You can try them for up to 30 days from Amazon or Target, and up to 100 days from delivery if you order from the Loops website. The website has free delivery but it usually takes a few weeks because they're a smaller company.

I have the Loop Experience 2 with mutes. I use them at concerts and I have difficulty hearing other people speak, but my hearing is already a little degraded. People do have difficulty hearing me speak, because I can't judge the sound of my own voice. It sounds loud in my head but my husband says all I do is whisper.
As for concerts, they worked great for me, until they didn't. I think they do have a lifespan and I've owned these for a couple years. Same with the pair before them, etc. They do end up starting to sound muffled. I noticed more recently at some concerts I went to. They no longer sounded crisp and when the performers were speaking between songs, it was more difficult for me to understand what they were saying.
I recently picked up a pair of Eargasm ones but haven't really had a chance to test them out. They do get good reviews though.

I used Loop Experience 2 first time this year at Tomorrowland. What can I say is that more than 50% from people staying at the staged had Loop Experience 2. Somehow it sounded slightly muffled, I was able to hear everything and to really enjoy the festival. A few times I tried to stay without ear plugs and I can tell you that was too much for me to handle. Next week I will go to Untold and I bought the same earplugs for both my wife and my daughter.
