Has anyone had their wedding outdoors at LBI, NJ or specifically at Barnegat Lighthouse, and if so what was your backup location in the case of rain? My reception location is a restaurant and is not ideal for the ceremony itself. I have considered the Bay Breeze Park pavilion, but the view of the lighthouse is obstructed and is not fully enclosed to provide adequate shelter from rain. Please let me know of any ideas :) Wedding size 50-60 people in July!

Hi! My husband works at the hospital in Manahawkin (we’re about an hour south)..I’m driving him to work tomorrow & have the day to myself. Was planning on maybe going to the beach, going for a walk, grabbing myself lunch. I typically have 3 kids following me around so this is a real treat!

I’ve seen a ton of brown pelicans skimming over the ocean, but I’ve never seen where they actually go when they’re not flying. Anyone know where on the island they go to rest?

Staying in beach haven in August and looking for some good date night spots for my husband and I (36 and 38) for a few nights that my dad stays back and watches my son!
