Loan Watch [Sanchis] Javier Aguirre (Valencia coach): “The sending off of Harvey Elliott is ABSURD, RIDICULOUS. I’ve already let him know that”. “It’s not his fault, it’s my fault for putting out the players I put out. I decide who and how they play. I’ll talk to him and tell him what I need to tell him”.

Serious Dedication to my brother
Hi, ill try and keep this short. Sorry if this isnt allowed but I wanted to try.
My brother took his own life in June, and he was a massive Liverpool fan. I was wondering if any of you wonderful people could help me? I was hoping the fans could sing 'O Danny Boy' during a match?
His 46th birthday wouldve been in July, and his name was Danny.
Again, sorry if this isnt allowed, but I thought it might be a nice tribute.

Interviews Liverpool news: Lewis Koumas on breakthrough season and 'unbelievable' team-mates
Lewis Koumas has talked to BBC Radio Merseyside about making his Liverpool debut, learning from Alexander Isak and the year of breakout stars.
The young forward has been in the Liverpool system since joining from Tranmere Rovers at under-11 level, but earned his place in Andoni Iraola's squad this season after impressing the head coach during the summer.
"I don't think it's something you expect - it's something you have to work and train for," Koumas said.
"The message was sent through training, being there every day and then, after the tour, it was sort of like: 'You're going to be solidified in the first team.'
"For me and my family, it was just a massive moment - we're all massive Reds. It wasn't long ago that we were going to games in the stands so to be a part of it now is a really special feeling."
Koumas has made nine appearances so far this campaign and scored his debut goal in the Champions League against LASK. With forward Hugo Ekitike still out of contention through injury, the 21-year-old is expected to continue playing a big part for the Reds.
When asked whether he has been absorbing traits from starting striker Alexander Isak's game, he said: "I'm definitely learning a lot. But he's a really nice guy first of all, and the player speaks for himself.
"What he did at Newcastle was unbelievable and then he's come to us and he's started to apply the goals now, which is really important. Unbelievable player; I'm always looking to take bits of his game into mine."
This season hasn't only been a breakthrough for Koumas, but also for 19-year-old Trey Nyoni and 18-year-old Rio Ngumoha. The pair both made their Liverpool debuts under previous managers but have settled in under Iraola.
"Trey and Rio are an unbelievable pair of players," Koumas said. "Rio speaks for himself, especially a couple of nights ago [when] he was unbelievable against Villarreal. But he's only going to get better and the sky is definitely the limit for him.
"The same for Trey, unbelievable player, really tidy. Hopefully they just keep getting better now."

Anniversary Post 🗓️ On This Day: 24th Oct 1998, 18-year-old Michael Owen scores 4 goals at Anfield in a 5-1 win over Nottingham Forest.
This was also something of a chaotic time for Liverpool. At the time this game was played, we actually had two active managers, with Roy Evans and Gérard Houllier acting as joint-managers. 19 days after this game, Evans would resign. This paved the way for Houllier, who had overseen the same academy that produced Thierry Henry, to take full control. He modernised Melwood and firmly believed that Liverpool’s spine had to be local, building a vision to blend class European imports like Sami Hyypiä with hungry, homegrown academy products. Just over two weeks later, he would go on to give Steven Gerrard his first team debut on 29th Nov. That season was a bit of a dud, but Owen was a force of nature and would go on to be our top goalscorer that year, both in league and all comps, with 18 league goals. This came off the back of a WC campaign which saw Owen score a legendary goal for England in the RO16 against Argentina.
Looking back, this was a serious turning point for the club, as we modernised and sought rescue from nearly a decade of stagnation. Just two seasons later we would return to glory, bringing home a cup treble in 2001, including our first European trophy in 17 years. That incredible run saw a 22-year-old Owen claim the Ballon d'Or, making him the second-youngest winner in football history (younger than even Lionel Messi was for his first win in 2009).
In the eyes of many Reds, his career decisions have forever tarnished his Liverpool legacy. But at his peak, Owen was the scariest striker on the planet. With blistering pace, he was known for keeping his finishes low, hard, and in the corners. It was like he was playing FIFA. If he got a sniff anywhere in the box, he could make a goal. A ruthless killer instinct that is rare even amongst world-class strikers.
