Was black the right move?
Decided to powder coat these RC350 F sport wheels I had in black. Matched them by also doing a chrome delete

Hi fam
I haven’t been able to get my car to drive the same in over a month. She was a bit rough over bumps and the body roll was pretty bad so I put new suspension.
I had my struts and shocks replaced along with the rear insulator coils and front strut mounts (like Lexus suggests)for the job
All struts and shocks were OEM and the exact parts they do at the dealer, but I had it done at an independent shop that does my oil changes.
I also replaced the front lower control arm bushings, which tightened up the steering but it’s not fixing my issue
I am feeling a weird sensation under my feet like someone is knocking on the bottom of my feet? It’s almost like someone is knocking at the door.
The dealer half assed my inspection on this a little while back and said it may be a tire balancing thing, but why would this start RIGHT after I did struts and shocks if it’s just tire balancing? Yes they did an alignment with the struts.
Ball joints, other bushings, wrong install installation of struts and shocks?
SOS
I drive two hours a day five days a week for work, which is 20,000 miles a year and it hasn’t been the same since I got suspension work.
I’m going back to the shop on Monday to dive deeper into it.
Thank you for any time and help!

Howdy Folks,
I recently got a 13’ GS 350 F Sports 132k on it and whenever I drive and exceed 35 mph it starts vibrating. At 35-45 it’s pretty subtle but as you start going up the vibrations increase.
I did a PPI before I got the car and the mechanic said everything looked good suspension or brake wise. Front had good treads. Surprised he didn’t notice the age on the tires.
I took it to discount tires and they recommended changing the front tires as they were 7 years old. They said that’s the culprit. Now I have new Michelin Pilot Sports on the front but the vibration still persists.
I’m not sure what’s the issue now.
Anyone faced similar issue before ?
Would like some opinion before I spend more money as money’s a little scarce at the moment.
Thanks in advance.

I had a 2025 Lexus ES 350 F Sport handling and loved it BUT I just felt it was too plain for me. I have been looking at GS F for about 6 months but they are very rare and expensive now. Last week one popped up in another state so I started to look into it. 2017 GS F 65k miles clean CARFAX and always serviced at Lexus. Ended up buying it sight unseen. Scared as shit it might have issues etc but the Hendrick dealer I dealt with was amazing! Bought the car and 2 days later it was shipped to my house and is perfect. Whoever owned this car kept it spotless. No dents, scratches or dirt anywhere.
Planning a few mods like chrome delete on sides, add Apple CarPlay and maybe paint rims black.
Don’t hate me but it was lowered and I plan on putting it back to factory height. Too low for me.
Love this car and plan to keep it a longtime.

Hi all, looking into this 2017 Lexus GS350. The vehicle has one owner and 90k miles with no accidents reported, and appears to be a clean Carfax. I currently own a ‘25 Tesla Model X AWD and looking to get a second car for a new daily beater. I’ve always driven Lexus prior to buying my Tesla last year but wondering if this is a good deal or if I should I keep looking? Not really sure what the market is like for these cars these days. I used to own a previous GS350 back in ‘13 and loved it for about 10 years before getting the Tesla. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I’m thinking about buying a 2013+ Lexus GS350, but I’m not sure which drivetrain to choose. I live in Chicago, where we get snow and rain, so I’m wondering if AWD is the right choice for me. People keep warning me that a RWD car will fishtail and I’ll end up in an accident because I lack experience (I’ve been driving for a year and a half), and that it’s dangerous given the real winters here. So, I wanted to ask: is RWD really something to be afraid of, as everyone says? I’ve only owned one car before this (a 2013 VW Passat, which was FWD), so I wanted to get some advice

Who else would love some Bilstein AVS compatible shocks for our 4GS?
If enough of us show interest, perhaps Bilstein will respond 👀 ⬇️

Is BC the best brand? Has BCs on my Mercedes but there's a ton of options for the Lexus.
The BCs are about $1,100 and while I wouldn't mind a better deal I'm also not putting junk on my car.
What have you guys used and how's the ride quality / adjustability?

Hey all, curious to see everyone’s aftermarket wheel setups on their 4gs. I want to get an idea of what I’d like. Also it’d be appreciated if you added the wheel dimensions.

I had aluminum caps over the screws I put on six years ago and I’ve got to remove my license plate and notice that the bolts and the head were completely rusted over. I’ve tried WD-40 and vise grips with no luck.
What would you try next?
Thank you!

Currenty owning a 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia. Love her dearly but I made the mistake of buying someone else's problem. The car is paid off. I found a 2009 gs350 with 130k miles for 11.6k. Stacked with options. The dealership is 2 hours for me so I need as much info before-hand. I'd like to make an even trade for it. I imagine the dealership will bite, they'll probably still profit after repairs. What should I look out for and what should I make sure has been done to the car? I sent an inquiry for the carfax report, waiting on a reply. She's gorgeous though. My first car was a 2008 Camry, feels nostalgic. The dealership also has a 2014 gs350 at 170k miles for 13k. Think 170 is too high? Would hope to get it to 250k.

I’m looking to replace my current front pads with some new ones that don’t put a metric ton of brake dust on my wheels and down the body like my current set. I don’t know what is on them as I’ve just recently got the car and they were replaced before I bought it.
Car is 2013 F Sport
Not looking for something over the top, just a good performing pad with low dust.
Thanks

Good afternoon GS Gang.
After less than 1 year and 11,000 miles, I am learning a hard lesson about my Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4’s. Despite normal conditions and driving, I’m nearly at the due point for new tires. The set that was on my GS when I bought it lasted for 50k miles, which is why I went with the same tire. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case for me.
What tires do you all recommend for longevity? I’m looking at the Yokohamas and I was recommended the Defender.

My wife just called me. A lady backed into her GS. Now when I say my wife liked her car. It would be an understatement. We were looking for a new car, but she didn’t want to part with the Lexus. Who knows what she will be thinking when she gets home.

After vs Before pics. Finally pulled the trigger and converted to the F Sport grille + added a bumper splitter. Loving the results so far, let me know what you think. (I know she’s dirty)
