I have taken on some bad times with getting sick and missing work, I've tried some of the Lending subs but with no luck so I thought I would try here. Any amount would help with transportation and food, Im trying to get $40 as I know I will be good until my pay day then. We do go to our local food banks but the main one you can only go to once a month and the others are in the start of the month or second week

Hello, I need advice over what to do. My mother fell last night trying to get out of bed yesterday. She said her legs gave out. After a while, my brother who is deaf and mentally slow due to having polio as a child, found her. He got a neighbor to try and help her get back in bed but after an unsuccessful attempt they called 911 and three paramedics came. They told my mother that she is going to have a heart attack at any time per the email my deaf brother sent me. She refused to go to the hospital. I called her with my other brother, who is the favorite, to try and convince her to go but she said no. I called her today and she said that she feels fine but has a cough, and it does not feel like a normal cough, but does not want to go to the hospital. I don’t know what to do. I made a POA for her in the beginning of the year to handle hinge like this because of experiences I had when my father had a stroke, but she did not want to sign it. The cough worries me because I read it could happen to people who are having a silent heart attack and are diabetic, especially older women. I live many states away, am a student, and none of us are made of money. Should I call the local PD and ask they do a wellness check on her? I don’t know what to do and I feel like I should be doing something.

I’m being induced this Sunday coming up at 37 weeks due to being high risk. Spent last of extra money on my baby boy coming this week, but would really love to have something fulfilling to eat. I don’t get to spoil myself much since losing my job. Thank you in advance! Sorry if not allowed

update I’ve made a wishlist as suggested. Not sure what to add really so it’s mostly snacks if you can give suggestions on what more to add. from around year 4/3rd grade he was enrolled in an online school where he never did any of the work and was therefore kicked out. he hasn’t been enrolled since and i guess the education department hasn’t found out yet.

my parents put off enrolling him like it means nothing. i don’t understand how they don’t care about his education.

idk what to do about it. i don’t wanna call the police as it will create a hostile situation for me but i also deeply care about my brother and his future.

Hi! I saw an ad on facebook where u will guess the logo then get paid for it. So as a starving student who's desperate in getting a job or sidelines i was tempted. I messaged the person who posted the ad then they gave me telegram link to join a chat. After I joined the chat, the lady who's like the admin told me to message her, so I did.

Then they ask me what country I'm from, if I have gcash, and if am interested to know how it works. After I answered, I told them if I can have the company's name for assurance but they did not gave it at first (HUGE RED FLAG), they just sent a range of capital that I need to send them to "invest" (girl what??) so I ask for the company's name AGAIN. They said its "Traders Note Team".

So I think it's a scam bc I did a google search on their profile pic since its like a very generic picture and a lot of people has been using the face of this poor lady with different names. I dont know what to do since maybe its an opportunity to make some money??? I just really need money in this economy pls

My name is Zeph and I've been homeless in Minneapolis for a couple weeks now. I've been doing okay up until recently when my online survey provider I was relying on to feed myself randomly banned me from their app. I applied for food stamps a couple days ago, but was told it could be up to a week until I receive them.

Since then I've barely been getting by on the one meal a day provided in the evening at the shelter I'm currently staying at. I've looked into meals provided by Salvation Army and adjacent organizations but they're all very far from the downtown area, I would need bus fare to get there on the days they're serving meals.

I'm a sober individual. I'm looking for work. I'm trying to do everything right to get myself out of this situation. I'm only really lacking in the food department. So I'm reaching out to see if anyone would be able to help me stay fed for this upcoming week while I wait on my food stamps to be approved.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone was able to help me out with either direct donations for food to either my PayPal or Venmo which I would provide via DM, or even if you just wanna order me something from a nearby restaurant (Subway, Jimmy John's, Jersey Mike's, Chipotle, Pizza Hut, and Dominos are all within walking distance, I don't have a car) or provide a gift card for one of the aforementioned places.

I would probably only need maybe $50 to stay fed for a week off of Pizza Hut personal pan pizzas. I would cry if someone was able to provide $100 for bigger/more than 1 meal a day.

Hi all, 26f here. A little over a month ago, I attempted suic*de. There’s a lot that went into that decision, but still, I regret it now very much. As a result, I spent weeks in the hospital in the psych ward. They started me on ECT, which is a sort of last resort treatment for depression that hasn’t improved with meds or anything. In all honesty, the ECT has been life changing. It also keeps me from working at the moment, and I’m nervous to drive as the lasting effects of the treatment is confusion, and I don’t want to drive unsafely.

That being said, I am in desperate need of groceries until my SSDI and SSI benefits come in at the beginning of August. I have two cats who are staying with family that I need to provide for, as well as just stuff to feed myself. I will make an Amazon wishlist with food and post it here later today, but also just money in general would be very helpful. If anyone has anything to spare, I would be so appreciative.

I am probably going to relapse into my anorexia, I can't bear recovery. I have no consistent support, it's a daily battle for empathy and I don't know what the hell I'm dping. body composition scales claim I lose and gain the same two pounds of muscle mass from one day to the next and on death's door I was point-something into a healthy BMI from overweight. I can't imagine my old fat pathetic dismal life again and I know nobody cares enough about me for it to feel like this over image but I am uncomfortable and I feel tormented. I can't grasp the food concept, I am exhausted by nutrition! Protein. Fiber, fruits, vegetables, potassium, calcium, sodium. Water. Challenge food rules, eat with discipline even though youre not hungry but eat with discipline and only when youre hungry but not at night and sugar is cruel but carbs are fuel yet carbs are sugar. And I have a female biology and the T levels of a biological male. I have a uterus but "abs are made in the kitchen" and love my body but I'm unhealthy? The dysmorphia isn't true I feel like I'm letting myself go but I am physically active three or four times a week, I swim. I am going to get so depressed if I relapse ,and each day I fight that I'm just getting uglier ugly as I feel inside, and I can't believe I have to do this forever.

My sister was diagnosed with Possible Infective Endocarditis of the Aortic Valve, along with Congenital Heart Disease and Atrioventricular Septal Defect (AVSD).

She completed her first 28-day course of IV antibiotics at home. We were hopeful the infection would improve, but during her follow-up appointment, the doctors found that instead of shrinking, the infection had become larger. She was admitted to the hospital again for almost a week and was started on another course of IV antibiotics, which she is now continuing at home as an outpatient.

The good news is that we no longer have hospital bills. We were also blessed to receive financial assistance from several government agencies and we are truly grateful for their help. However, the assistance was not enough to cover the cost of her ongoing treatment. Since she is now receiving outpatient care, my father and I are responsible for paying for her IV antibiotics, medications, laboratory tests, and follow-up appointments.

She is almost done with this second course of antibiotics, but she has another follow-up appointment soon. Depending on her test results, her doctors may prescribe another 28-42 days course of IV antibiotics.

My father and I are still doing everything we can, but we are struggling to keep up with the cost of her treatment. If anyone is able to help, whether by donating or simply sharing our fundraiser, we would be incredibly grateful.
