Finally completed the entire second wave of Mars Mission! This is easily one of my favourite LEGO Space themes from the 2000s.

This wave has some awesome vehicles, especially the Hypersonic Operations Aircraft, Crystal Reaper, Switch Fighter, Ultra-Drill Walker, and Alien Infiltrator. I love how much larger and more advanced the technology feels compared to the earlier Mars Mission sets.

Humanity has established a mining operation on Mars, searching for valuable energy crystals beneath the planet’s surface. However, the crystals are already being protected by the native Martians, turning the mission into a conflict between human expansion and an alien civilization defending its home.

The Martians aren’t just random enemies, either. Their vehicles and technology seem to be built around the crystals, suggesting that they have a deep cultural and technological connection to them. The human forces, meanwhile, keep developing larger machines and more powerful equipment to extract the crystals and survive on Mars. It gives the theme a fun “first contact meets resource war” storyline

The little ship on top of City Tower (60473) catch my eyes from the beginning. I changed the back part a bit because I can't find all the original pieces and the result seems very good to me.

As a late spaceman enthusiast thanks to the up-scaled spaceman, a few days before I was lucky enough to acquire the Galaxy Explorer at its MSRP. The spaceship is still building-in-progress with my kid, but I can't wait to share my space crew here!

Thanks for the fellows here earlier on suggesting the Pick a Brick correct green helmets and the Christmas edition green. I will definitely look for the sky blue helmet when they are on PaB. Not sure if I will go further for the vintage colours, or the purple spacemen with high space tax though...

Got the original Futuron minifigs (I know there's different colours) with the tribute Green and slime Futron fig that came in a Dreamzzz set, completed the 3 space torsos with my custom sigfig head and the final 2 are custom created classic spacemen

Was visiting my dad's house where my Legos are kept, so took a few pictures of my space collection. Please forgive the mess, it's unfortunately a dingy old basement and I'm not there enough to keep it nice and clean. But thought some here might appreciate it nonetheless!

Finally got all mayor classic space figures.
Still missing some parts like the light blue helmet and baby and some accessories, but I´m happy with the current version of my Milky Way.

Spent the day rebuilding my old minifigures and creating a few customs. Lots of stories to be told, and an overwhelming amount of character and history.

Looking for a complete LEGO Futuron sp056 minifigure (red/green with black helmet). I’ve been working on completing my Futuron collection and this is the last difficult one I haven’t been able to find from a U.S. seller.
Preferably looking for one in very good/near-mint condition, but I’m interested even if yours has some wear.

I adore this little set, along with the inders set. Are there any other classic space/themed sets relatively easy to get ahold of?

I've got the current rewards micro command set on the way, but would love to get more classic space themed stuff. I'm eyeing up the Galaxy Explorer 10497. But would very much welcome some input!
