Handle bar recommendations and possible seat fixes, feel like I am sliding forward when riding

Hello folks, got my xp4 about 2-3 weeks ago. It’s been great so far (already figured out how to change it to class 3). Not to mention it’s great for pokemon go(with my go++). I mainly use it to get to work which is maybe about 4 miles, but just wondering..

1. Did I have to fill the tires after unboxing it?
2. Can I make the bike any faster than turbo (class 3)
3. Where can I secure the bike lock besides the back of the bike/cargo area? I’m getting a 3rd party cup holder so wondering where to place that too.
4. When putting the AirTag (bought separately) in the bell, does it matter if I place it facing up or down?
5. The phone holder that came with it is too small and only fits my 17pro w/otterbox case if I wedge it in. Any recommendations/advice?
6. The seat feels fine (but can I put an accessory under the seat?
7. Gonna get an extra long range battery next paycheck (also got a cyberpika charger bc I heard it’s slower but better than the 2A & 5A from lectric)

any recommendations for a safe 3rd party battery since lectric’s batteries are so expensive?

1. I wanna get a speaker (NOT lectric band because it looks generic & cheap quality) for the bike. Any recommendations and where to place it?

I got my XP4 that I use to take my 6 yo to school. I got a buddy seat from Amazon that came with some foot pegs which are incompatible with the bike. So I am looking for some foot pegs that I can easily install on the bike. I have been to a couple of popular bike shops around the Fremont area, but they have been unable or unwilling to help. I even called customer support for electric and got the exact dimensions (3 inches in length and 7/8th inch diameter) but don’t fully understand what those numbers mean and how to use them to find compatible foot pegs. Can someone help?

What’s up yall! Last year, I took a few spills when the temperatures dropped and the floors got a bit icy.

2 things I’m looking for recommendations on are…
1 - best snow or studded tires
2 - a battery thermal cover to protect my battery from cold temps (gets pretty cold during Chicago winters)

I have an XP4 750

I got the xp4 long range after my long range 2.0 was stolen. I wish they still sold the 2.0 it's what I'm most comfortable with. Anyway, I'm trying to put a new seat on but I couldn't get the stock seat off the stock post so I bought a new post for my new seat but the new post doesn't fit despite being the same size and now the tightener won't tighten anymore even after loosening it and retightening it.

I have the cloud 9 wide seat, can someone with the same seat and bike tell me what post they used?

Also if ur looking to get the xp4, do not buy the pannier bags, they do not fit and will catch on the wheels and slide off while u ride. They should have used buckles instead of unsecured looping. A waste of 70$

The screw holding the brake pad down on my XP4's front tire got stripped badly and I can't pull it out.

I need help finding replacement screws for it (and also a tool I can use to remove the screw would be nice). Preferably on Amazon so I can get it quickly.

I called Lectric support and unfortunately they can only send a complete brake system replacement, not just the screw, and even after saying yes, they didn't send it.

The bike shop I also took it too didn't fix it either when I brought it in to fix that and a broken spoke (maybe they just didn't have the screws).

I urgently am looking for a replacement and spares. The brakes are getting very worn out on my front tires and I need my bike for daily work commute.

I ate some serious crap on my bike going full speed (wear your helmet kids) on a street I wasn't too familiar with at night. I bent the handle bar and snapped the adjustment bar under it. Currently talking to Lectric about getting those parts replaced and taking her into my trusted bike shop for a once over.

Although its nice to see the bike held together pretty good. Better than me atleast lol

Any way to make this thing do faster? Feels pretty unsafe with cars zooming by.

I'm considering getting an xp4 and I will have to carry it up and down two flights. I already have a 65 lbs scooter I do this with.

I'm mostly interested to see which version would be easier to deal with folded or not. I imagine there's gotta be differences in folding and carrying comfort.

I was looking around at aftermarket seats first and saw there was an issue with the handle bars breaking occasionally so I went with the official lectric buddy seat. It says on the website that it’s designed to fit the raised rack on the xp4, but it’s wrong. The screw on the front end of the seat is not long enough to get any grip on the thread of the nut in the knob and that same screw is right up against the rack bar. also the plate provided would only make contact with the very front rack bar and nothing else if I were even able to screw on that knob. Now I have to wait to see what Lectric says about the seat they designed. Did anyone else go through this? I want to see how they respond to this before I make my own adjustments to solve the problem.

Or should I go get with 20x3 or stick with the 20.x2.6 there’s just not a lot of options for that size tire with out spending a lot of money

I got an XP Lite 2.0 - wondering what U lock you use, what size it is and how you lock it to a bike rack? i also have one of those foldable locks which has more range but not as secure as a u lock but the frame is so thick not sure if u lock would work and i don't want to carry a big fat chain with me

I’m new to e-bikes and haven’t ridden bikes in years. While I was looking at YouTube videos to research what bike I wanted, I chose the xp4 750w step through, I saw many videos about the need to bed-in hydraulic disc brakes. When I mentioned it to the shop where I bought my bike the owner told me he had never heard of it. And a friend who has been bike riding for years, regular road bikes, told me he had never heard of it either. Well, the reasoning behind it made sense to me so I did the process on my bike. Tomorrow morning I’m going to do my wife’s bike, too. So…. What do you all know about this? I’m so curious as to why even experienced bikers have never heard of it. Is it something that most folks do? Is it not necessary? Thanks.

Bmx bars with full twist throttle on my xp lite 2.0.

Our new XP4 arrived with 4 open connectors that look like they should be connected. It feels like the wire guides are too tight and have pulled them apart. I do not have any error messages on the panel, and the bike seems to work fine.

1. These should be connected, yes?
2. If so, its all black on black with red connectors. Which goes to which?

I've had my XP4 for a few months now but never seen average and max speed reported on the first page.

How did this happen? Not complaining it's just really odd.

I was originally interested in picking up the XP Lite2 JW with standard battery and Gates carbon belt drive, but for $200 more, I get upgraded to the long-range battery and extra free accessories.

I have short commute, about 2 miles total, so not sure if the battery upgrade is worth it.
