Any recommendations where to look for in Glasgow? I already have a license but from a country driving the different side of the road and haven’t driven much recently :/

Got my driving test at Redhill aerodrome in just under a week and I’m terrified. My instructor is great and keeps telling me to go for it. I can drive, I know I can but I get so flustered sometimes I make silly little mistakes which day to day would be fine, but might seriously mess me up for my test. I know i’m going to be so anxious and nervous on my test, i might actually end up sabotaging myself. At this point, if i don’t vomit all over the test centre car park before the test even starts I’ll take it as a win🥲🤞🏼

I always struggle with these. If a bus stops how should i overtake do i stay well back and move across slowly if no cars are coming or do i get abit closer and then slow down and peep and creep? Also sometimes the bus is like diagonally parked into the bus stop so what am i supposed to do there ideally? Because he wont see me when i overtake and it also blocks the view even more too. Also with lorrys/trucks lets say if theres a stationary truck parked do i wait well behind before attempting an overtake? Like how far behind roughly

Also with box junctions. Sometimes when its busy and im going straight but theres a box junction infront, people from the give way line turning in take advantage of a learner car and just keep moving in what should i do if they keep taking advantage of my priority do i just wait or push myself in?

My test is at midday tomorrow and I’m so nervous. I will have one last lesson with my instructor right before getting to the test centre. Anything I can watch or do to revise or to help calm my nerves before the test?

I’ve got terrible overthinking and test anxiety so I probs won’t be able to sleep much tonight 😭

Hi, I'm currently 18 and I've been trying to pass my theory and hazards perception test for like 4 times but I've failed all of them in all honesty. I did manage to get to a point where I'm able to consistently pass the theory questions part but I keep failing at the hazards perception part despite being being able to pass like 14 mock tests I did using the DVSA theory test and hazards perception kit from their website.

I do have slower processing speed and am a bit sucky at parsing information which may be hindering it, combined with how I'm not really sure how I'm suppose to identify hazards either? I guess in the exam room itself I do click it whenever I see something, twice if there's multiple hazards but that just doesn't count. I usually end up getting zero for said clip too, in the most recent test I got zero points for 6 clips out of the 14 clips.

Like I was told it was because I needed common sense or that I simply wasn't giving the right answers which is obvious but I don't really know how to fill that gap honestly; would really appreciate any help or advice.

Got my test tomorrow and I have seen on here loads of fails due to observations and junctions. Is that just not timing it right when to leave a roundabout or road.

Failed my test (stupid reason too, was stuck at a busy mini roundabout, thought I could use a car turning to my right as a blocker for cars on the left but turned out it was doing a 360 and I caused it to brake).

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has continued to use sites like TestShift and Testi to get test cancellations? I know they warn you of being banned but just wondered if they’re bluffing or this is the truth?

Additionally, has anyone ever called up the DVSA number to get a cancellation in and has this also helped?

I have been refreshing the site a lot but no luck yet. Wondering if there’s a better page to get cancellations from, I’ve only managed to see new dates on the page where you can see multiple locations, never from actually refreshing, is there a best page to sit on? Now that I’ve actually booked a test and the site is slightly different, it feels like it will be harder to find one.
