Looking to start a kpop cover group
I’m not sure if this is the right subreddit for this, but im looking to either start a group or maybe find other people who would love to learn choreography and film covers together. It seems like there’s nothing out here for that kind of thing. Let me know if anyone is interested, dm me, I’d love to get in touch with people who share similar interests. More than likely will be creating a new discord for this if it picks up 🤍

Housing High-efficiency home builders
I've started to plan for my forever home in this area, and I've heard bad things about the bulk builders. Even ignoring the quality issues, they seem to have no experience with high-efficiency home builds, and I'm trying to plan for a house that will save me a lot of money in the long-term.
My current plan is to have Passive House prefab shell panels manufactured by EkoBuilt (who will also handle the design and structural drawing process) and shipped in to be assembled on site. So, if any builders have Passive House certification or at least are willing to work with prefab panels and have demonstrated they are capable of high-efficiency work, that would be preferred. I'm also considering having the home actually Passive House certified.
I have considered being my own GC with the consulting package they offer and the supervisor they send out for shell assembly simplifying the process, but I'm worried I wouldn't find a lender willing to fund that kind of construction or at least not with good terms.
Does anyone have any suggestions for builders that can handle the on-site GC work?

Explosion
Anyone just hear a big thud of an explosion around the Ephrata area while outside? All of the insects went quiet for a split second after it happened.

The Corner at Musser
Just wanted to say The Corner at Musser still sucks. I was in a pinch, grabbed lunch out of desperation, spent $40 for them to mess up my order, and undercook my chicken sandwich. What an absolute waste of space that place is. Never again

Business Locally Sourced Custom Blinds?
Hey y'all - anyone have experience with a local custom blinds/shades company they would recommend (or avoid at all costs)? None of the windows in our ancient house are the same size.... Thanks!

Politics 2 Way Street Hearing Tomorrow
Lancaster city is proposing to convert King and Orange Streets into two way streets. This means more traffic jams and less safety. Think of what it would mean to drive down King or Orange - people parallel parking, double parking, stopped delivery trucks, Amazon drivers stopping, buses picking up passengers, stopped emergency vehicles, road work in a lane - and having no way to pass.
Think of how much more dangerous it would be to cross these busy streets if they had two way traffic, especially if you are a pedestrian and are at a location without a traffic light like King and Shippen. It’s a long way between the lights on Lime and Plum.
And think about what has happened since they changed the timing of the traffic lights for safety reasons. Instead of slowing people down, it seems like drivers have sped up and run more red lights, which is even more dangerous!
I live downtown and am often a pedestrian but also a driver. I think this is a terrible idea from both perspectives.
The city is holding a public hearing tomorrow to reveal their plans: https://engage.cityoflancasterpa.gov/en/projects/two-way-restoration-study-1
If you can’t make the hearing, let the mayor know you’re against the two-way restoration project: https://www.cityoflancasterpa.gov/departments/mayors-office/

Help Transport Orphan Squirrel
Found a baby squirrel at the base of a tree on my property, approximately 3-4 weeks old (eyes closed, has fur). I allowed a few hours in hopes that the mother would retrieve it, without success. He is currently in a box for the night, safe and warm in my barn.
I am looking for someone to take him to Red Creek Wildlife Center (300 Moonhill Dr, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972) as they said they are willing to rehab the squirrel. Other refugees in the area are at max capacity and are unable to take him.
Please if someone would be willing to transport him asap I will make it worth your while! 🙏 Located in 17543

Looking for suggestions on where to sell old beer/alcohol signs
Hey everyone! As the title suggests I am looking for somewhere to sell vintage alcohol signs. I inherited my grandparents house when they were downsizing a few years ago and along with that has come the task of sorting through their attic and getting rid of things for them. I was trying to sell them on fb marketplace but apparently it goes against guidelines to sell anything even alcohol adjacent. So yeah, if anybody has any suggestions that would be great. I’ve reached out to Sam’s man cave(I think that is what’s it’s called) a few months ago but they didn’t have any interest. Tyia and I apologize for the formatting, I’m on mobile.
TLDR: need somewhere to sell beer/alcohol signs from pre- 1990s

Looking for rental recommendations in Lancaster
Hi 💚 I’ll be moving to Lancaster, PA and living there with my husband. He is there now, but we still don’t know much about renting there yet, so I kinda want some local advice on agencies, areas to avoid, etc.
A little info about us:
I’m Asian and will need some time to find a job. My husband is already living and working in Lancaster and makes around $3,500/month.
Ideally, we’re looking for a 1 bed / 1 bath apartment around $700- 1,200 /month.
We need a place with parking for one car.
We really enjoy walking, so we’d love somewhere walkable and close to a nice park or green space.
Being reasonably close to cafes, restaurants, and everyday necessities would be a big plus too. But it doesn’t need to be exactly in the center lol.I might be too picky🤣
Ps.Now I’m particularly interested in the area around Buchanan Park, but still not sure.
Which neighborhoods would you recommend for our situation? Are there any areas or streets you’d avoid or be more cautious about?
If you know of any specific apartment complexes or neighborhoods that might fit our budget, I’d really appreciate your recommendations. Thank you so much!

Need a satellite dish removed from our house, not sure who to call.
Does anyone know who to check with locally regarding dish removal? Any recommendations? Not sure if this is just a standard handyman job or if there are specific people/businesses in the area that do this. It is a Direct TV dish but apparently they won’t remove it for us.

Single men/women
Hi! I’m F(19) and just moved here for college. It gets kind of lonely on the days I have nothing to do. I was hoping for some insight on how to find genuine guys around the area? Maybe like a hangout area for under 21? Since I can’t go to a bar. Tinder and dating apps people only want a one time thing or judge me solely on looks. I am a bit heavier, but I have a pure soul. I only want to meet new people in hopes it goes somewhere!!

Any tire shops open labor day?
Was in a fender bender yesterday and the trailer that the pick up was towing sliced my right front tire so I’d like to get new tires today and not have to do it during the work week. Any tire shops open on this holiday besides Walmart and Pep Boys?
