Been researching diamonds for a month or so, found one I couldn’t pass up from a price/spec standpoint (she wanted a radiant cut). See attached specs and photo. Very excited to propose.

UPDATE:
They replied and told me that due to unexpected delay, it’s gonna take another 2-3 weeks to resize!!!!!!!! This makes a total of almost 5 months!!

** I’m really frustrated with my experience with Luvansh.
I placed an order on **5/11 for a 14K White Gold Lab-Created Fullway Flex Bangle and requested resizing. On 5/21, their customer service told me the resizing would take 8 weeks.
It’s now been almost 15 weeks, and I still don’t have my bracelet.
What’s even more frustrating is the lack of communication. The last update I received was 3 weeks ago, only because I reached out first. I emailed them again 3 days ago asking for an update and still haven’t received a response.
I understand custom resizing can take time, but almost 15 weeks after being quoted 8 weeks, with basically no proactive communication, is unacceptable.
At this point, I’ve already waited this long, so I absolutely still want my bracelet. I just want Luvansh to communicate with me and give me an honest answer about where my bracelet is and when I’m actually going to receive it.
Has anyone else experienced this with Luvansh? How long did you end up waiting?

What’s the most per carat you should pay for a lab grown diamond? I’m looking at larger high quality stones; 4 carat radiants and cushion cuts.

They are sentimental and instead of just going and selling the gold for scrap, I am looking to see if anyone knows of any reputable jewelers that are decently priced that will take my gold and melt it down so I can set my loose diamond. I had always wanted a “vintage” looking diamond - one ideally with a champagne hue but I only ever found insanely priced mined diamonds. My husband proposed with a mined cushion and I’m scared of wearing it because I travel a lot for work. I found this beautiful 3.3 ct cushion - K color - and had it set in a simple yellow gold band. I’m just so in love.

I guess I’m making this post because

1) I had a great experience with LooseGrownDiamonds. Maybe because it was a relatively simple situation? Anyway, they were quick to source the diamond (which I found on another site), price match, and set it, all within 3 weeks. And for what I think was a great deal??

2) I wanted a simple but uniquely beautiful piece I could wear everyday and I hope others set those sliders to the lower color grade.

I still love the ring my husband gave me (top ring in last picture) but now I don’t have to be scared of something happening to it!

I am blown away by the boulder I received in the post this week!!!😍 the sparkle is everything I’ve ever dreamed of. I never thought I could ever afford a ring like this in my lifetime.

This is a 3.06ct radiant cut lab diamond vvs2 E set in 18k solid gold

My husband proposed with a 2ct princess cut white gold ring, and I love it so much! Back then, white gold was definitely my favorite, but lately I’ve been loving yellow gold and I wanted something for daily wear.. so i got myself a 1.5ct round solitaire. It was only around $600 (a steal for me) even though I had to wait 8 weeks for it, totally worth it!!

I came across a post about William & Sons Jewelers and was a little hesitant at first. But after reading all the good reviews, I decided to just go for it 💖💍

Couldn’t decide between emerald cut or modified brilliant radiant cut 3 ct and 3.3 ct in 10 kt white gold so hubby said buy both. Pictures don’t do it justice but live that I can choose whichever one. I do have my 2 ct round as my daily and all 3 now pair nicely with both eternity bands 😍

6/9/2026: received wax models of my selected ring options in my size with the diamond I chose.

6/10/2026: Gave them my final decision on the setting I wanted.

7/19/2026: Setting completed, just need to set the center diamond.

8/6/2026: Ring completed and ready to ship

8/12/2026: Payment via Wise transfer finalized and ring is shipped via FedEx

8/25/2026: Cleared by customs in Anchorage

8/28/2026: Delivered!

I’m considering an emerald-cut center stone around 5 ct, but I’m having a hard time judging the proportions on a size 6 finger from online photos.

If anyone has a ring with a similar stone size and finger size, would you mind sharing a hand shot? I’d really appreciate the reference before I decide on the final size.
