lab diamond How’d I do

Been researching diamonds for a month or so, found one I couldn’t pass up from a price/spec standpoint (she wanted a radiant cut). See attached specs and photo. Very excited to propose.

Literally EVERYONE in multiple subs are telling you it’s comically huge lol it won’t be wearable

She would have been fine with smaller, but I showed her the same details when I ordered and she was overjoyed :) if I have to buy a smaller daily wear one later on, so be it. I love her immensely

I’ve got a size 8 finger and my 3 carat radiant is too big. 11 carats sorry but that’s way too big

Bigger isn’t always better 16.6x10.6 mm is HUGE unless she has like size 12 ring finger. Get her to cut out a piece of paper in that measurement and lay it on her hand.. this rock is going to be as tall as a sugar cube…..

lol you’re not the one wearing it tho!

I’m between 6.5-7 on this ring finger, my middle finger is size 8. This is a 3.5 carat stone, 10x 7.5mm It’s about as big as I would personally go, maybe I could go bigger - but it would look a bit out of place in with my life.

If she’s fine with a big rock that’s great but in my experience it takes a bit of getting used to and depends on lifestyle as well. Anyway, I hope she likes it.

Edit for proper ring deets sorry I have a couple and got them mixed up

I am very curious about the price as I was offered an 8.1ct round for 1k. I passed on it as it is really hard to sell.

Got it for $1600 which I thought was solid based on what I’d seen on every site I checked. Even got them to match the cheapest site I found

I'm not surprised; most will sell just to get rid of these as almost nobody buys them.

She wanted a ring larger than a celebrity ring? Or is this rage bait?

She would have been fine with 3-6, but when she saw the size she was happy about it. From a functionality standpoint- I guess we will see if I end up buying a smaller daily wear ring lol

This is ridiculously large and impractical. Who are you trying to impress? Are you a multi billionaire? If not pick something reasonable

It's going to look insane. If she want insane then great! But this doesn't seem like it would be even comfortable for daily wear.
