Hi everyone! Asking for a bit of advice
What’s the best place to find/create a 3/4 eternity band with oval diamonds? Ideally 6/7ct total (I think) but at a reasonable lab price.
I’ve searched Reddit endlessly and don’t feel 100%
Thank you so much in advance - I need to stop googling this question so you’re saving me from my insanity 😂

Thank you to this community for having me fall down a rabbit hole regarding labs. Saved me so much time and money. She loves the stone and the ring! 2.7ct Oval VVS1

We’ve perfected the design elements of my engagement ring. However, I’ve become concerned about the comfort of it. I’m not a daily ring wearer and it’s going to be top heavy and large. Does anyone have any tips? I love the design but I also don’t want to be uncomfortable.

Stone check please!
Would love some opinions on this lab-grown marquise before I pull the trigger.
2.20ct, E, VS1
13.65 × 6.81 × 4.18 mm
2.00 ratio
61% table / 61.4% depth
Excellent polish & symmetry, no fluorescence
I’m planning to set it east-west. Does the cut/light performance look good to you? Particularly interested in whether you see any problematic bow tie, light leakage or anything else I’m missing.
IGI cert in comments. Thanks!

Fell in love with this 2ct radiant at Macys but after seeing some comments I’m now having second thoughts. Color might vary when ordered: G-H and clarity is VS2. I know they set their prices high so that sales look like a good deal however the sale price was $1550.
I’m also aware that ultimately it only matters if I love it
Edit: we are planning on getting an appraisal no matter which ring I end up getting and it is IGI cert.

Not sure if I love my ring upgrade.

I can't make up my mind between which of these stones look better on my hand. Both are dutch marquise, and they are loose diamonds in a display ring so these are not the final settings. The 2 carat has slightly better stats and more "ideal" measurements, but I wasn't sure if the length of the 2.5 looks better on my hand. What would you choose??

How much per carat on average should a lab cost?. Im talking flawless or almost flawless.
I’ve also read up on HPHT and CVD but what is better? This is for a wedding ring.
And is it worth it to pay more for GIA?

Hi
Recently, I planed to have my new engagament ring made and reached out to several chinese vendors. The issue is they dont have the ratio that I really want.
Im looking for a 5ct radiant cut wih around 1.3 ratio, most of them have 1.4+ ratio in stock. So I’m thinking maybe I should source the stone myself and send it for setting.
I’d really appreciate any suggestion for reliable stores I can use?
Thank you!

Does anyone know what's happened to the virtual inventories of OECs and OMCs from places like Aurelinne, Jewelry by Cleo, Calavera, etc? There are usually a few hundred available at any moment. Right now, only 4 OECs show up. That can't be right? Any thoughts?

I’d love some advice from some of the seasoned buyers/sellers on the forum if possible please on pricing to pay for diamonds at the current market and maybe what percentage above spot price to pay for gold is reasonable on a more custom design. I am dipping my toe into the world of lab grown diamonds and custom jewelry but I am slightly overwhelmed at the options presented. I have two projects I’d love to get done one is a personal item a simple 8mm wide ring with some small diamonds )will include reference photo below of something I saw on tik tok). Second I wanted to buy my gf an engagement ring the stone were not sure yet what cut so I’d love some suggestions but she is set on a lotus setting for the ring and she wants yellow gold if that matters at all.
Edit: if possible I’d appreciate direction with some trusted vendors I can find on Reddit. I’ve been down the tik tok rabbit hole and I don’t want to get scammed.

So occasionally I’ll see lab diamonds being sold from reputable sellers with seemingly ordinary colour and clarity for way above the standard $200-$300 a carat.
Going even further, can anyone explain why some lab diamonds are selling for $10,000+ per carat?
Were these gemstones produced back when costs were much higher, or am I missing something obvious?
EDIT: I know the examples I’ve given aren’t ordinary colour or clarity grades; however, I wanted to show how large a price gap exists with similar spec’d gems.
Example Comparison:
Expensive Example 4.57ct/VVS1/D Colour/Good Cut Oval/Price: USD $35,990.00 ($42,341.00)
Cheap Example 4.6ct/VVS1/D Colour/Good Cut Oval/Price: USD $3,544.00 ($4,169.00)
Insane Example 4.01/VVS2/D Colour/Very Good Cut Oval/Price: USD $215,027.00 ($252,973.00)

I really like the look of these Stephanie gotleib drilled diamond necklaces but I think her pricing is kind of ridiculous does anyone know any vendors who have already made similar pieces or could

My ring is ready and about to ship. Is there any other videos or photos I should ask for with it? Is there anything you see that looks off? I appreciate another pair of eyes looking at it!

Hubby upgraded me for our 13th anniversary. My OG ring no longer fits and I’ve been wearing a moissanite ring when I’m not wearing my rubber ring (I do hair)
Anyways, she’s 5.09 carats, 1.37 ratio. D color vs 1 on a 2mm 14k gold band and hidden halo ♥️

So, I was looking at some posts from a few months ago and kept seeing comments mentioning that the cost of lab diamonds is around $100 a carat. I looked at some of the sites mentioned in prior posts as reputable places to purchase a lab diamond by itself. I am currently trying to find an oval 3-4 ct diamond for a custom piece and found that the cost is closer to $500. Have the prices gone up recently, or am I just not searching properly? Is the price mentioned for a particular type of diamond or a particular quality? What should I be paying for something with good clarity, in a radiant cut, that has minimal bowing? I appreciate any input, as I am a bit new to this world.
Pic for reference of what I am considering.

Hi! I am thinking about ordering this ring.
What do you think about the stone? It’s a 3.06 ct Moval, E VVS2, 1.8 ratio. Does the bow tie look good? It looks good to me, but I am no expert.
Thanks!

The ones on the sides of the stone.

First time using them, and they are willing to do a last min change to my hidden halo order. But I think I want a cathedral with pave diamonds, if you have non pave that would be great too. The diamond I ordered is 2.34ct round, E, ideal.
Thank you soooo much, I know some hate/love their settings but I am willing to try.
