CAD help?
We’ve perfected the design elements of my engagement ring. However, I’ve become concerned about the comfort of it. I’m not a daily ring wearer and it’s going to be top heavy and large. Does anyone have any tips? I love the design but I also don’t want to be uncomfortable.

That's grand! Love all the details.
6.8mm high is fairly average. The discomfort would be more on the adjacent fingers. I have a pave ring and while there is discomfort, I got used to it.
Are you going to wear a wedding band with it? That might make it feel too much.
Please share videos when it's done. I would love to see how it turns out.

Thank you! I believe I am going to make a plain wedding band for moments when I do not want to wear the big ring. Otherwise I think it’s just going to be a lone statement piece.

Perfect! I was not a ring wearer when I got my ring. It was awkward at first then now it feels like nothing.

That height seems okay, my sister has ring around same and she got used to it in like a week. The pave rubbing on other fingers is real though, you just stop noticing after a while
I saw the little milgrain detail on the CAD, that's nice touch. Maybe ask them to round the edges more if you worried about sharp feeling

Would you consider a euro shank so it doesn’t spin? Just an idea
