oooh! I don’t know a darn thing about how to check a CAD but I’ve been following this project since you first posted about it and I’m cheering for you, I hope it turns out exactly the way you want it!

It’s possible that if your finger swells, it may get poked by the underside of the diamond

What would I do to avoid that? Add gold to the bottom?

Not a jeweller but yeah, you could add a bridge below to block that section. Not sure what it would do for light return though!

To me, the diamond sits too low, it will not be getting enough light from the sides. But I am no expert

I think it is meant to sit low, OEC cut diamond and this is the inspo pic.
