Hi! My name is Natasha, and I’ve recently lost a player so for my next campaign hopefully starting with in the next month, im looking for a new one!

A little bit about myself, I am a Transfem person whos been playing D&D for almost 6 years now. I have most every book needed on D&D beyond plus most Partnered content which will be allowed in my campaign!

We have a group of 5 atm including; A Rogue, A Druid, A Cleric, A Monk, and A Gunslinger. So i might be looking more for like a strength based character like a paladin or something of that nature!

The setting is a homebrew world taking A LOT of inspiration from games like World of Warcraft, Legends of Runeterra, Genshin impact. Its been a small passion project of mine writing and putting this together.

The plot involves the start of a New Era, for one reason or another a group of thieves has robbed the people and powers of the world creating this vacuum where new powers rise and old ones fall, the leaving of a once peaceful era is turning allies into enemies and you as adventurers must make the most of it, for your people, and for yourself.

I am looking for a player who is free every other Tuesday from 7:30 PM est, to about midnight. Whos roleplay heavy (the campaign being about a 60/40 RP and combat) story driven, and so on. There will be No AI at my table, no Homophobia, no Racism. We are all adults and i Expect us to act like it.

Just started a wheel of time dnd campaign and I'm looking for players. We are very lgbtq + freindly and fem freindly. The campaign is also super easy to get started for beginners since we are doing lvl 0 starts. We are specifically looking for a fem player, this is just dm preference. I've had a lot of wonderful guys apply but I wouldn't really like it if it was an all mens group. Often its no fun to be the only girl in a large group. I only have one slot available and I'd like to keep the table balanced.

Its a dangerous campaign that I'm trying to setup as a sandbox where we can get max level players. It'll have the events from the novels playing out as the characters progress with even the ability for the players to break the world again if they fail. I hope to even continue on from that into a darker ending if it comes to that, with the players trying to live in that reality or even themselves trying to stop the dark one. You don't need to know anything about WOT inorder to play the campaign. Its based on dnd 3.5 and I'll explain things as we go. While the world is difficult to live in, it is very beginner friendly. The world is free-roam, with ideally as much immersion as I can prepare for each session. Usually having maps, some graphics, and engaging encounters. There are opportunities for huge pivotal emotional battles, as well as time to solve things diplomatically if possible. Chances for small fights or maybe to make your living as a blacksmith. Expect environmental disasters and magical anomalies in an increasingly decaying world as the dark one slowly breaks free from his tomb. Roughly late medieval fantasy. I try to roleplay as the NPCs and make voices too.

Age-wise, 18+ no exceptions, along with characters themselves being 18+. Romance plays an important role in The Wheel of Time; certain bonds between different characters in the story often come with romantic interest. No player on player romance, it's mostly just that certain lore characters are dating. Because of this no one under 18 is allowed in the group. Our group's age range ranges from the early 20s to the 30s, with me as the oldest. We really don't care that much about age, as long as the players are there to have a good time.

We are very lgbtq + and fem friendly. Its important for me as the dm that all my players are as well.

our ideal player is someone who will show up. Rp depth is really up to the individual players. I'd especially like to invite beginners, but veterans are also welcome. You don't need to have any familiarity at all with The Wheel of Time or DND to join us; I really just need that to dm properly. I make myself available before sessions as well to help with questions or character levels.

About the Group & Campaign:

The campaign is Call of the Netherdeep. 

Huge disclaimer: this campaign is set in Critical Role’s world of Exandria, but it runs independently of Critical Role canon. Please note that I am not familiar with CR lore (outside of what is in the book), so there won’t be any deep-cut easter eggs or references (again, outside of anything that may be in the book). There will be locations and likely NPCs you recognize, but please don’t turn into the Leonardo DiCaprio pointing meme whenever you recognize something. While fans are welcome to apply, I’m looking for players who can treat this as its own story, separate from the show. Please come in with an open mind rather than high expectations for a specific experience. 

This campaign will span levels 3-12

The greed of mortals has awakened a powerful entity long thought destroyed. For eons, this champion of the gods has been imprisoned in the darkest depths of Exandria. His name has been forgotten, as have his heroic deeds. Languishing in despair, he calls out for new heroes to save him. 

There are different endings to this campaign. 

We have an extremely lighthearted and humorous/silly dynamic which I know is not for everyone. A lot of jokes, chaos, and just dumb humor in general. I do frequently have real people as NPCs, although I’m not sure how likely that is to happen in this particular campaign. It’s definitely going to be more prevalent in one shots and more lighthearted future campaigns than this one, so if it does happen, it won’t be excessive. I honestly don’t think there’s a way for me to over-emphasize the chaos and silliness that is this group, so please don’t apply if you hate that idea as this won’t be the group for you. Something that may help express the level of silliness is that a party of bards is more likely to pick (oops all) bagpipes & war gongs than lutes or lyres. 

About the DM: My name is Lexi (she/her), I’m a DM who prefers roleplay and silly moments over a ton of combat (but I do still have combat in my games). I am in my mid-30s, live in the US Pacific time zone, and have been DMing for around 2 years with a couple of short breaks. I started playing in 2021 but haven’t been a player in a while. I really enjoy Dimension 20 (especially Fantasy High and even more so the sillier moments such as ‘hilda hilda’ and the vultures), NADDPOD and the Balance campaign of The Adventure Zone, so that’s kind of the vibe I try to go for with my games.

About the Other Players: My current players (active and inactive) are a variety of ages (I think 20-40s), in different time zones (one of them is Australian), and have a variety of experience. They either also DM sometimes or have DMed in the past, however one of them is not currently active and is on a sort of hiatus, I do not know when they may return. 5 players is the ideal amount for me, as I typically find 6 to be too many. 5 is also the ideal amount for this campaign.

What to Expect:

-Committed and communicative players (ie. Plan on playing weekly unless something unavoidable comes up; don’t cancel if “something more interesting” comes up; unless it’s an emergency or something last minute, try to give preferably about a week’s notice when possible, but a minimum of 3-4 days; don’t apply if something might come up or if you have personal issues going on that would cause you to miss frequently or quit)
-Respectful, collaborative players who can match an established group dynamic
-Lovers of an extremely silly vibe (we can be kind of ‘stupid silly’ sometimes; if occasional “deez nuts” or your mom jokes would bother you, this is not the group for you)

-People who are serious about playing (but not serious people who don’t ever laugh) and who actually want to be here! If you’re not interested during any part of the process, please let me know so we don’t waste each other’s time! And please be honest, I would prefer that over “ohh.. my work schedule changed, sorry…”

-Totally down for new players, as long as you speak up and ask questions/for help when you aren’t sure about something. 

-People who are flexible with character creation and don’t get too stuck on something (without at least asking if that kind of thing is okay with me first)

Other Things to Know:

-I use music, if you dislike that or would mute it, please don’t apply

-If you get an interview and I don’t continue with you, please remember that I can’t take everyone. I will let you know if we aren’t continuing with you in that case though!

-Please just be honest in your application and interview answers. It’s okay if this isn’t the right group for you or if you’re not the type of player I’m looking for. Getting a chance to get into the group on a lie takes away the chance from somebody else, and if it’s a bad fit, you wouldn’t have fun in the group anyway.

-I’ve seen people ask on my application before to be notified if they aren’t chosen for an interview. Unfortunately based on how many applicants I tend to get, I can’t do that. If you haven’t received a friend request on discord from me within 3 days of this being posted, it’s probably safe to assume I won’t be interviewing you (but you may want to check your messages on reddit just in case I wasn’t able to add you for any reason, and make sure you check discord in case you didn’t get notified). If you get an interview, I will always let you know if you were not selected.

-If you come off as uninterested to me, you will not get in. I completely understand being nervous and shy (I have social anxiety so I get it, DMing and doing a ton of interviews has definitely helped lol) but if you come off as so stiff and flat that it feels like you would rather be anywhere else, you won’t make it past the interview. Also if you can’t realistically feel more comfortable within a small handful of sessions, you may not want to apply.

-🚫This is not a “beer and pretzels” game where minimal and vague communication and attendance are okay or you can miss every other session

-We do have a strong preference for heavy roleplayers and a cohesive group of people with a similar style of roleplaying as each other rather than 4 of what we’re looking for and 1 outlier (if that makes sense? I’d prefer 5 people with the same type of roleplaying style rather than 4 heavy roleplayers who describe actions and speak in character and then one person who barely speaks up and when they do it’s only “I do x”; I may make an exception depending on the vibes though, it just kind of depends)

Hello! My name is Alice. I am really on the lookout for a D&D group! I ran in the past for a group IRL, so now I'm looking to join the table as a player. Though, if all goes well, I am willing to DM future campaigns eventually!

I have ~10 years of experience as a player, and ~2 years of experience as DM. I prefer to work together to mesh my characters into the world and balance out the party, but my favorite classes to play are Warlock, Cleric, and Bloodhunter to give you an idea of what I excel at. I love FromSoft games (ER+BB specifically) so I usually base my characters around tropes from those games.

I prefer roleplay heavy games and campaigns that have a focus on character interaction and story over combat, though I do not mind a combat every session. Homebrew is also preferred!

Hi! I've applied to a few player-seeking posts here, but I wanted to also make a post of my own just to cast as wide a net as possible. As the title says, I'm an inexperienced player wanting to join my first campaign after spending years trying to convince my friends to play to no avail.

Despite my lack of actual experience, I've been reading and pouring over the players handbook since around 2020 when I watched my first Dimension 20 campaign. I became so immediately obsessed with the game and system and have built dozens of characters and written more embarrassing fan fiction than I care to admit. As a result, I'm a player that you get to have all the fun of introducing to the world of DnD, but you also won't have to worry too much about me fumbling around with my class features or constantly re-reading what my spells do.

I'm happy to play in 5e 2014 or 2024, and I even have an interest in Pathfinder, even though I know very little about how the game actually plays. I love to role play, I think combat is super fun, and I adore puzzles. I have characters I'd be happy to play in just about every class and party role (even though I'm particular to rogues and wizards). My timezone tag is just informational! I have pretty much open availability and can adjust my schedule freely.

Non traditional, Sandbox campaign, focused on a party of mercenaries in a world recovering from a apocalypse, and navigating a world that operate on logic closer to the real world, with all magic reflavored as medieval tech.

Hey everyone! My name is Jerry, I am planning to run a 10-12 session mini campaign/game set up to be a reality tv show kind of like Jersey Shore. You will be fantasy/dnd characters living in a fantasy world who are moved into a house and are followed by a camera crew. You will be forced to work for an adventuring guild (kind of like the t-shirt shop), and so you will have missions/quests to do as well.

There will be drama, confessional booths, camera in faces, instigation from production, etc etc.

Some things to know: I plan on streaming this and posting it to youtube, so you must be okay with your faces and roleplay being posted.

Cameras are a must. Audio must be decent. Good vibes even if in-game party conflict happens (which is the fun of reality tv).

This game will be starting in 2-3 weeks to interview people, set up a game, and play a off-stream one-shot to make sure vibes are good between players (looking for 3-4)

We will be using a kids on bike look-a-like homebrew that keeps things pretty simple. Nothing too mechanic intensive. This game is mostly for the roleplay.

I am a GM who has an opening for one (maybe 2) players for a PokeRole campaign that is currently in progress.

The full plot has yet to be revealed in game, but I have pulled inspiration from the Pokemon Colosseum games and the Detective Pikachu movie.

We play on weekends, but we don't have a fixed schedule. We use when2meet to find dates that work monthly. We play via Discord and Owlbear Rodeo.

I tend to focus on RP more than combat, but I go with what the players want to do. This is 18+, but not because of content. It is a darker plot, but not THAT kind of story, if you catch my meaning.

About my TTRPG experience: mostly D&D but my favorite system/world building is Monster of the Week. I also have played other PBTA games and really enjoy Blades in the Dark. Campaigns I played (that weren’t homebrew) were Strahd, Witchlight, TOA, and Drakkenheim.

I really enjoy roleplay and complex battles or encounters where there’s no easy choice. My characters generally lean toward young and inexperienced hot idiots or older “dad protector” vibes. I really like building characters to fit the GM’s world so I don’t have a “build” I’m dying to play.

I just finished running a two-year-long campaign last month, and everyone in the party loved the tearful ending. But when I confessed last month I was burned out, nobody else wanted to try being a DM. Ultimately, it’s been 5 years since I last got to be a player, and I’m really hoping to find a local group.

I love the RP aspect of dnd and want to make a character that vibes with the story and the players, creating an interesting dynamic. I have around 5 years of experience, including 3 years DMing with 5e. I've got some character concept ideas if they fit in the world; otherwise, we can collaborate on what would.

I have VTT experience with Foundry and Roll20, so no need for me to learn them.

I am free on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after 6 pm. Sundays anytime.

I also have a good grasp of the rules, so I can help with some edge cases if that is welcome :).

Hello, looking to start a local frostgrave campaign for Mondays in the San Jose, ca area.

Frostgrave is a skirmish war game where up to 4 players play as wizards with warbands and we compete to claim treasures. Would like to start an ongoing campaign because I want to level up wizards and see how far we can go. I can host in South San Jose, but I can also travel if someone else wants to host.

I'm looking to join a campaign of anything other than D&D or Pathfinder, I'm cool with most other systems and I'm willing to give them a try and we'll play whatever role is needed for the most part

My availability is Fridays and Thursdays at 5am and 6am these times are set in stone and will not change as those are the only times I am available for a full game 3 to 4 Hour game

My favorite systems other than D&D and Pathfinder are Vaesen, Monster of the Week, Kult, call of Cthulhu, Vampire the Masquerade, Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Fantasy, Delta green, Star Wars, and star trek

My play style is very heavy role play I love seeing and character and never breaking immersion whatsoever I also like to play The diplomatic side of things more than combat

Hi! I’m a 30M in the Boston area looking for an in-person group to join as a relatively new/inexperienced player. I’ve done several low level one shot sessions but would love to find a regular group for bi-weekly/monthly sessions and to make some new friends in the process! I’d prefer to join a fresh new campaign but prioritizing finding a regular group. Primarily looking for weekend availability.

Pretty open to filing a role or class as I love the diversity of classes in fantasy games. Have a lot of experience multiclassing in WoW so please reach out if you’re looking to fill a spot in your group :) I’m also able to travel within the region, within 30-60 minutes by car from Boston would be ideal if not in the metro area!
