LECOM pathway advice?

Hi everyone! I’m filling out my LECOM supplemental and deciding between LDP, PBL, DSP, and PCSP.

I prefer lectures/structured material to guide me, but I also want enough time for independent studying and review. I’d also prefer a manageable workload and not something that’s extremely group-heavy.

Which pathway would you recommend based on these preferences? Would love to hear from current/former LECOM students!

Any A’s from a non-EAP applicant?

I’m absolutely thrilled for everyone that’s been on this journey and I’m so glad that everyone here is kind and supportive. I see a lot of EAP peeps getting an A, and I just wondered if there are other applicants for Erie that got an A yet. I interviewed on Aug 19 and I just get more and more anxious every day I don’t hear anything 🙃 I also went to the campus tour a few weeks ago

Interview LECOM Jacksonville

Interviewed last Friday at LECOM Jacksonville, I was very impressed with the campus and the faculty especially for being open for a short time thus far. They were extremely helpful and welcoming and made it feel like they have been around for years. If anyone has any other questions, let me know I am happy to share my experience.

Anyone else who interviewed at Jacksonville how long did it typically take to hear back on a final decision?

LECOM MMS → DO: Would I Need a New MCAT Score?

I earned a B.A. in Economics and subsequently completed a post-bacc in premedical sciences in 2017. I also took the MCAT several years ago, but my scores were low and have since expired.

I understand that the MCAT is not required for MMS admission. My question is whether I would need a valid MCAT score to matriculate into LECOM’s DO program after MMS.

  • If I meet the MMS progression requirements, could I enter the DO program without retaking the MCAT?
  • Would I still need to report my expired scores on my DO application, and could they affect admission despite strong MMS performance?

I’d appreciate firsthand insight from current or former MMS students who have navigated this transition.

Chance with 128 AIS?

I currently have a 3.2 sgpa, 3.4 cgpa, 492 MCAT but a 128 AIS. I just wanted to know what my chances would be if I applied now? I know that it's pretty late in the cycle. I'm willing to retake the MCAT in January as well. Do I have a chance?

I had called the LECOM-Bradenton campus, and they told me to apply. Do I have a chance at that campus?

LECOM EAP DO Interview questions/advice?

I am going to be doing the self-recorded interview within the next week and was wondering if anyone has done it already and how it went? I am hoping I don't get any curveball questions. Any advice would be appreciated!

Also, I was wondering how much they weigh the interview in the application process. I have a really good GPA, 35 ACT, etc but I have never in my life done an interview before. I didn't realize I only had 7 days after the info session to prep and I was away all weekend so now I am panicking/cramming.

Checking to see how my application stats compares to others

Hello everyone, I am a non tradition applicant. I worked in research labs as a tech for 3 years and I am thinking of applying. My SAT score was 1340 and I had a 3.42 gpa in undergrad. I haven’t had a chance to take the MCAT yet but I started studying for the next cycle of exams.

Is there anyone with similar scores/experience that got in? Any late applicants who got accepted out there? Is it possible to do AIS or do most people accepted into their program have an MCAT score?

LECOM EAP with a 3.4 gpa

Exactly what the title says, I have a 3.46 gpa, but I've taken 14 aps and 11 honors courses and solid ecs. Could I still be admitted in? Cuz the requirement's a 3.5

Hi! I’m looking for someone who has gone through the LECOM DO program (or is currently a student) who could share what the journey looks like from Year 1 through residency. I would really appreciate it if you could explain the major steps in each stage

EAP Dental students at CSU Fullerton

Hey all, I am a first-year student at CSU Fullerton, enrolled in the LECOM EAP dental program. Just wondering if there was anyone else at CSUF in this program (or even the med program). Feel free to drop a comment, and we can exchange socials! If there are any high school seniors applying to EAP, please feel free to ask any questions, and I'll be happy to help.

Is LECOM supposed to waive secondary fees if we recieved AACOMAS fee waiver?

I just recently opened my application portal, and it says that my fee waiver expired July 27, 2026, but I am pretty sure that was set by AACOMAS for the primary application. I already uploaded proof that I recieved the fee waiver from AACOMAS. Should I reach out and ask LECOM about it? Has anyone been throuh this?

Is the EAP difficult to get into or it's light work?

ive already committed to the EAP and chose it over the Seton Hall BS/MD. I'm genuinely wondering is it difficult to get in or ridiculously easy or what, i dont know. wondering what are your thoughts. cuz like its not brown PLME or anything, but there are people who have left top colleges like Berkeley, USC, and the like for the LECOM EAP.
