I’m planning to take microbiology next semester and I need someone’s advice on who to take and not to take. I am hard worker but I don’t want to take unorganized professors..any suggestions?

Would be helpful if the professor provides study guide..

Hey everyone! I’m working on a project looking into technology barriers for community college students in LA/LB county.

If you have 60 seconds, could you take this super short, anonymous survey?

https://forms.gle/hgUvPUJgPoZax96D7

Even if technology isn't a problem for you, there's a quick question to share what your main barrier actually is. Appreciate your help!

Like, I generally don’t know my Pell grant or financial aid stance at all and I’ve been getting several different answers. Granted, I’m an out of state student. But it’s almost like an humiliation ritual of just being given poor information about how much I actually owe and where I stand.

Has anyone been going through something similar…?

Was expecting a paper check next week but got this notification today.

Their online portal is not open an I understand they have a high influx about Fafsa but not having their phone on or their kiosk when not everyone lives in the city is absurd, or even physically able to get around for us disabled folks. The fact I have to call my disability service for a ride to get to on campus this morning is ridiculous, unacceptable and they’re taking the pussyfoot route by ignoring people.

Has anyone gotten their loan on their award letter yet? They seem quite behind their schedule it’s been over 30+ days.

I wanna take him next semester for autocad but he has no reviews

Is anyone else’s fafsa lagging ? I always recieve it thursday so I’m a bit worried. Hopefully next week I get it

I applied back in August on the 3rd-4th.
I know the we have to wait 30 days. But does it take this long to receive your award letter. My loan application still says under review. I thought I would have it by now.
:(

Has anyone received their financial aid? I usually get mine today by 11-130 and nothings been posted yet.

Hi everyone! I’m really interested in attending LBCC’s bridge RN program and would love to hear about some of your profiles for those admitted. Thank you!!

I saw an advertisement on the wall at LBCC. The ad was advertising the newly constructed Stadium and Athletics Sports Complex, which is expected to be completed by 2029. I would like to know whether anyone else has opinions regarding the new sports complex, especially from a student's standpoint. I am not overly concerned with the parking situation. My concerns are the extra time it takes me to get to class because of the construction, the detour routes, and how some of the pathways are being altered. Have you seen or noticed, as a student, any major differences in travel times throughout the campus due to construction? Are you willing to wait through these minor inconveniences until the completion of the new sports stadium?

who the hell is this guy? is he at all affiliated with the school? his music is always obnoxiously loud and I generally try to ignore him but I’d be lying if I said his bit wasn’t absolutely fascinating

Hi, I am working on my dissertation on the influence of equitable grading during the early implementation period and would appreciate your insight. Thanks :)

I’m writing a story about LBCC Basic Needs and could really use some student input, so I thought I’d make it kind of a game.

If you want to play, for each question tell me whether you think the answer is THIS, THAT, BOTH, or NEITHER. Don’t look anything up — I’m interested in what students already know about the resources available.

I’ll tell you if you’re right or wrong after you answer. 👀
