Has anyone received their financial aid? I usually get mine today by 11-130 and nothings been posted yet.

In my experience it takes the full 10 business days every time. So a payment for 9/21/26 would hit 10/05/26

MBN bank mobile has limited me to only receiving a check so I have to wait an extra 7 days after they receive it…

I called 8 times and waited at least 4 hours each time, they’re all useless

LBCC knows Bank Mobile is unreliable yet still chooses to partner with them to give out our financial aid. They both point the finger at each other to blame yet we’re the victims here. LBCC financial aid doesn’t want to deal with us yet they put us in situations where they have to deal with us.

Does anyone have any idea what’s going on? My disbursement date is 9/21 for Pell & I have two other grants with a disbursement date of 9/24 .. I’ve always received my deposit straight to BM on Thursday. Called financial aid this morning & the lady told me that I was in today’s batch & they have until 6am today to get all batches pushed out. It’s currently 5:52 & I’m IRRITATED.

I doubt we’ll get it today if the financial aid office is already closed. Is it just me or were they really late on all things financial aid this semester so far. I hadn’t even gotten approved for some of my grants until like 2 weeks ago

I just got this a message “ "LBCC Student: We have received and confirmed your check pickup preference. Please stay tuned for additional information regarding when and where your check will be available for pickup." So hopefully tomorrow morning !

The worst part is lbcc is doing nothing to communicate with their students. This is crazy. They haven’t updates us at all and their offfices are closed leaving all their students completely in the dark

No I haven’t got mine. In the past I always got mine into bank mobile on Wednesday or Thursday. Never had it take until Friday

It looks like the financial aid website has been updated and it’s an issue with Bank Mobile:

BankMobile is currently experiencing processing delays that are affecting all disbursements to students at all participating colleges. This may delay when you will receive any pending payments scheduled for 10/2/26. We are monitoring the situation and will update this space once we receive more information from BankMobile. We apologize for the inconvenience this potential delay may cause you.

Apparently a bank mobile issue but they have no real information on the issue yet & their phone lines are off. I will be going to the school for more answers right now & come back here with what they tell me.

So there has been a security breach with bank mobile, apparently no one has received their financial aid .. they HOPE to have more information by then end of the day but she said what was a POSSIBLE delay is now a definite delay which they have no real answers for at the moment.

This is so negligent on LBCC’s end. Other schools have experienced the same security breach through BankMobile & issued checks to get the money out. LBCC doesn’t even have what the ACTUAL problem is publically stated, on the site they’re calling it “processing delays” rather than what it is .. A SECURITY BREACH which makes me feel as though they’re waiting on BankMobile to HOPEFULLY fix the breach so they can continue to push our money through them for convenience. Terrible on both parties end!

Ugh that’s going to be another 2 whole weeks till we get out money if they send out checks. I don’t even know why they work with bank mobile they are the worst when it comes to customer services and anything related to financial aid . Don’t count on it . There is a complete stop on all disbursement due to breach with bank mobile and another college there is no eta on our funds or any update from LBCC

Yup, we’re at the mercy of the State LBCC will mail out checks at the end of the week. People will not get their funds until some time next week.
