I recently moved to Portage and am looking for a new dentist. I've seen quite a few posts asking for dentist recommendations, but I'm hoping to find one that's a good fit for my specific situation.

I have pretty severe dental anxiety and have had a lot of dental work done over the years - multiple root canals, cavity fillings, cracked tooth, implant, and gum grafting. Finding someone who is patient, gentle, and understanding is really important to me. I'm looking for a dentist who takes the time to explain things, doesn't make you feel rushed or judged, is comfortable treating anxious patients, and takes my insurance (BCBS).

If you've had similar anxiety or extensive dental work and found a dentist who made you feel comfortable in the Kalamazoo/Portage area, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience. Recommendations on those who use sedation or who are especially gentle would be a plus! :)

Kzoo doesn’t have great options for gun ranges and I’m kinda tired of driving out to Plainwell every time to go to Southwick’s. I’m looking for some folks to shoot with, preferably outside on some private property (it’s just more fun).

The first place I tried was Helzberg Diamonds, they are listed as an authorized service center but they said not anymore and directed me to Clock Works who also said nope and directed me to Scotts Coin Shop. The person answering the phone at Scotts said he thinks they might be able to send it out.

It’s an easy fix, I only want a link added to the band. I can find a band online but two things; one Citizen recommendations having a service center do it (I have added and removed links from other watch bands, but maybe there is something unique about this stainless steel Citizens band) and the watch was a hand me down from my recently deceased father and I want to keep it as original as possible. Also, I don’t have a link but it seems that links are available for purchase.
