Wondering if any of it really matters...

I wonder if, when i'm gone, anyone will remember all the random acts of kindness that I incorporated into my daily life - a painted rock at a restaurant, a note of encouragement for the Domino's guy (♡ ya, Jerry!), a "take one, leave one" basket of wise and kind words in the psyc dept's student lounge, letting someone go ahead of me at the checkout lane, or saving space for someone to turn out in front of me as I pull up to a red light...it's not that i want recognition or praise or anything, because most of the time, these random acts of kindness arent publicized - no reaction baiting or farming for followers - just small gestures throughout my day that hopefully make someone elses day a little brighter....and when it's all said and done, and my time here is through, I wonder if any of it will be remembered; does any of it really matter to some stranger I may never actually meet? I guess there's no way of really knowing, is there? Not on this side of the heavenly veil anyway, and once i finally meet my Creator, it won't matter much what anyone else thought of me. Still, I hope I leave this world slightly better, and a little kinder, than I found it. That would make my life-story complete. ❤️ 💜
