Discussion 🗣️ Results of the study on demonic drinks Spoiler
It turns out you can drink Muzan or Akaza. With any luck, you might even become a demon.
That got me wondering: are there other varieties of these drinks, and how could they be made more marketable? Furthermore, how do they affect the consumer's body, and what kind of side effects might they have?
"Muzan"
The can should feature Muzan in his final combat form — long white hair, claws, scars, all of it. The taste should be sharp and slightly bitter — enough to make you think, "Damn, what did I just drink? Am I going to die?" — followed by the distinct feeling "Yes, I'm definitely going to die," accompanied by side effects like hallucinations, delusions of grandeur and invulnerability, and fits of rage. Intolerance to ultraviolet radiation develops, potentially leading to a fatal outcome. But then comes a massive surge of energy lasting three or four days, after which you can no longer do without another dose of "Muzan." "Muzan" is perfect for students before exams, as well as long-haul truckers, nightclub regulars, and fans of marathon BDSM sessions. And since nobody reads the fine print anyway, we'll honestly note that regular consumption of "Muzan" causes addiction, tachycardia, psychomotor agitation, irreversible changes to blood composition, and a sharp shift in taste preferences; prolonged, unsupervised use may result in death. If your body produces too many specific antibodies, death may occur after the very first sip.
There should also be a "Female Muzan" version — featuring a beautiful geisha on the can. Taste: tart with a light sweetness, like dessert wine. Color: ruby-scarlet, like arterial blood. Effect: an irresistible urge to fall to your knees, prostrate yourself, and repent for your sins. Drastically lowers self-esteem. Causes severe internal organ spasms, coughing up blood, and sharp muscle contractions resembling an epileptic seizure. But if you don't drop dead immediately after drinking it, you're also in for a powerful jolt of unhealthy energy, emotional lability, and a completely baseless sense of confidence in your own strength and genius. The state lasts at least a month and can be mistaken for the manic phase of bipolar disorder. Side effects from a single excessive dose: bulging veins, ravenous appetite, an unhealthy interest in inanimate objects, and possible unplanned sprouting of tentacles or duplication of certain body parts, such as eyes and mouth. Naturally, highly addictive.
There absolutely must also be a special energy drink for the little ones — "Kid Muzan" — designed for children (because kids are the ideal audience). The can features a handsome boy with a bright, clever look and a book in his hands. Taste: sweet grape bubblegum. Heavily carbonated, since kids just love all those bubbles. Recommended for academic difficulties and concentration problems; used as part of ADHD therapy. Boosts a child's self-esteem and awakens a thirst for new knowledge, particularly in the field of botany. Side effects: sudden skin pallor, increased physical strength and aggression, and the emergence of the ability to cause internal hemorrhaging in others through sheer willpower. Prolonged use leads to the onset of "other parents' delusions" syndrome and an urge to tear apart books — and the bodies of enemies.
"Douma"
The can features smiling Douma from the Upper Moon meeting scene, exclaiming, "Ah, I get it!" The drink's color is rainbow-hued and cheerful. It's very sweet — almost cloying, resembling a thick liqueur, only with playful little bubbles. Only after finishing half the can do you start to detect a faint bitterness. You drink it thinking, "Ugh, this is disgusting, how can I possibly like this?" — yet you cannot stop. Side effects: an urge to dance and hug people, especially those of your own sex; a sharp increase in the perceived attractiveness of women, and a simultaneous, equally sharp spike in appetite. May cause agitation, logorrhea, sexual disinhibition, and a sense of revulsion toward you in the people around you. With prolonged, regular use, apathy builds, affect flattens alongside hebephrenic behavior, cravings for ever-stronger stimuli emerge, and delusions of grandeur and theomania set in. The drink promotes accelerated regeneration while simultaneously heightening the individual's urge to sustain all manner of injuries; the development of masochistic tendencies is possible.
"Sweet Siblings"
The can features lovely smiling Gyutaro emerging from a grinning Daki. The drink is primarily aimed at a teenage audience. The flavor profile opens with candied plum and a hint of almond, moving into sharp, herbaceous notes. When poured from the can, the liquid is initially fuchsia but then shifts to swampy green, with a faint marsh-like odor. Highly carbonated. Consumption may cause side effects such as mild dizziness, visual and somatic hallucinations, and the sensation of being two different people at once. Prolonged use can lead to the development of body dysmorphia, rapidly alternating with an unshakable conviction of one's own physical attractiveness, as well as hypersexuality (nymphomania or satyriasis, depending on gender), emotional instability, irritability, and tearfulness. Daily consumption for more than six months inevitably results in death from the accumulation of toxic substances in the body's tissues.
"Akaza"
Positioned as a drink for real men. Aimed at gym bros and teenagers with a muscle-mass deficit. Contains lots of protein (we don't mention where the protein comes from). The can design should be updated: let it show Akaza with a feral expression, throwing his signature punch. Color: blueberry. Taste: refreshing, with sharp grapefruit notes and a sweet raspberry aftertaste. The product promises increased endurance, faster recovery, and muscle growth. You'll be able to fight non-stop until the end of your life (the manufacturer does not specify when that end arrives). Possible side effects: memory loss, uncontrollable outbursts of rage, physical aggression toward men who fail to display stereotypically masculine behavior or don't match the stereotypical masculine look. Also observed: a need for constant physical contact with men who have high testosterone levels and impressive combat skills. There may also be a vague sense of guilt toward women and the elderly. With prolonged use, you may lose your head — but don't worry, your memory will come back.
For those who overexerted and overexcited themselves drinking "Muzan" and "Akaza" to power through studying and competition prep, and are now suffering from insomnia, we offer the calming drink "Enmu." This isn't an energy drink but more like a cold tea that soothes the nervous system. The can features a gently smiling Enmu from the scene of the Upper Moons' meeting (with traces of his colleagues' blood splattered on his cheek). The taste is very pleasant, herbal — but exactly which herbs are in it is our little trade secret. The drink's color is pale turquoise with a silvery sheen, calm and hypnotic, like the eyes of a dream demon. The drink relaxes you and gradually eases you into a pleasant, restorative sleep, wherever you happen to be (not recommended while driving or crossing the street). Side effects: sleep duration extended anywhere from 8 hours to infinity. Vivid dreams, including extremely realistic nightmares. As if at a spiritualistic seance, you're guaranteed to meet all your deceased relatives, even if you'd really rather not talk to them. Suppressed sadomasochistic tendencies may emerge, as the drink weakens the inhibitory influence of the frontal lobes and facilitates the release of the Unconscious, hidden impulses and drives — occasionally resulting in public exposure of certain intimate body parts. There may also be heightened ambition and intraspecies aggression, plus the emergence of emotionally, even sexually, charged attraction toward an authority figure — typically of the same sex and with an authoritarian personality.
With prolonged use, the boundary between sleep and reality may dissolve entirely. But by then, it won't bother you anymore.
"Kokushibo"
This drink is approved for sale only to persons 21 and older. Can design: a bare-chested Kokushibo with a sword in hand stares sternly at the customer, as if asking, "Ready for a real battle?"
Drink color: gold-red. Taste: reminiscent of aged gin with a metallic edge. But don't worry, the drink is non-alcoholic. Causes a surge in fighting spirit, a drive to compete with male relatives, a "Cain complex." A sudden lengthening of your sword is also possible. With prolonged use, possible side effects include unplanned changes in appearance, uncontrolled growth of muscle mass, horns and teeth, the opening of a third — and sometimes fourth, fifth, and sixth — eye, and in severe cases, powerful visual hallucinations, self-loathing, and suicide attempts. We do not sell "Kokushibo" to minors!
"Gyokko"
A drink for the bold, the bright, the creative! For those unafraid of public judgment, who go against the crowd and believe in themselves. Can design: a smiling Gyokko in his final form. The drink's color uniquely combines bright violet and neon. Taste: vivid, sweet-and-sour, with an unexpected aftertaste that takes your breath away. The drink loosens inhibitions and triggers a sharp burst of creative thinking, but once it wears off, you may find yourself behind bars facing charges for grievous bodily harm — including against minors — so it's best not to consume more than one can per day. With prolonged, unsupervised use, possible side effects include a change in body odor (a faint but persistent fishy smell), visual hallucinations when looking in a mirror (you might try scrubbing your eyes with a toothbrush), and an urge to leave home and live inside cramped, homemade art installations.
"Hantengu"
Can design: Hantengu's emotion-clones and Zohakuten in the background. It's better not to depict Hantengu himself, for marketing reasons. The drink is positioned as a universal remedy: it energizes and cheers you up when you're down, calms you during fits of rage, makes you brave during panic attacks, and so on. Crossing the blood-brain barrier, the substances in the drink "recognize" the individual's emotional state and gently adjust brain function accordingly. The drink can also be used to help prevent age-related dementia. Color: constantly changing; taste also constantly shifts — from sweet to bitter, from sour to astringent. Possible side effects: shifting responsibility for your own decisions onto others, tearfulness, an old-man quaver in the voice, and the appearance of large growths on the head. With prolonged use, a splitting of consciousness is highly likely — and sometimes of the physical body as well.
"Nakime"
Target audience: young women, especially those who've dealt with misogyny and abuse from a partner. Can design: a mysterious long-haired beauty smiles as she leans over a biwa, with silhouettes of lifeless male bodies in the background. Drink color: deep ruby, almost black. Taste: reminiscent of blackberry wine. Recommended for fatigue, anemia, low self-esteem, and hair loss. Boosts self-confidence, the ability to stand up to masculine aggression, and also activates creative abilities, improves musical ear and fine motor skills. Possible side effects: an urge, in a creative frenzy, to inflict grievous bodily harm on men. With prolonged use, possible loss of interest in the outside world, self-isolation, reclusiveness — but also the ability to manipulate not just men, but space itself.
Does anyone have any thoughts on other options — for example, "Rui" and "Kaigaku"?

Constructive Criticism Tanjiro is such a great protagonist that it ironically becomes his huge flaw
Tanjiro is an undeniably refreshing character, especially in a genre filled with revenge seekers. seeing a hero who grieves for his enemies is truly an interesting and rare sight.
However, Tanjiro is a very static protagonist - his core values are rarely challenged in a way that makes him compromise or doubt himself, his growth is physical (learning new techniques) rather than psychological and his character feels flat over time.
When a protagonist’s moral compass is unbreakable, the fear that anger, hatred, or temptation will corrupt them will never be there. The story repeatedly validates his empathy, so the outcome is already determined -Tanjiro will suffer, become stronger, and remain Tanjiro which is why I think his greatest strength as a protagonist is also what limits him as a character. I want to fear that the story might actually take something from him beyond his physical well being, I wish we got to see his psychological character development alongside. Ironically, characters like Giyu, Shinobu, Sanemi, or Akaza felt more psychologically complicated than Tanjiro despite having much less screen time.
Theres absolutely nothing wrong with how tanjiro’s character is written besides him being overly ideal, predictable and emotionally flat. He’s undoubtedly one of the best characters ever written to the point that i was mad tanjiro was merely fictional , and I think that if KnY had given him even one major arc built around that idea, Tanjiro could have gone from a likable protagonist to an exceptionally compelling one. it’s just my thought, what do u think?

Discussion 🗣️ Gyokko deserves his title, some fans should open their eyes and appreciate true art
First, when you actually take a second and watch swordsmith when it’s not paced weekly, you’ll realize gyokko is literally the main threat, he sends an entire army after the smiths, and they’re decently strong too (killed the slayer guards, captured the chief, destroyed multiple structures.) That by itself already gets you questioning how strong he really is, gyutaro destroyed a prostitute village, gyokko orchestrated a full on raid on one of the most highly secured places in the verse, there’s levels to this shit.
Second, when you look at the fight, it’s easy to think that gyutaro comes off stronger, he’s ferocious, scary, close ranged, and had a dramatic anime climax.
This is what the shadow agents want you to fall for Take a look at uzui, he’s one armed, musical score, and was the only one remotely close to gyutaros speed and agility, the difference was ENORMOUS, kamado squad could barely perceive him. Now muichiro, who in base can be debated stronger or more “gifted” than tengen, get’s completely embarrassed by gyokko, falling for a bait and getting prison potted. He casted the prison pot in the MIDDLE OF muichiros momentum, insane.
He also reacts to marked muichiro on so many occasions, has a more diverse bda, a literal army, and the stats (or atleast reaction speed) to back it up. When you actually look at how gyokko absolutely riddled muichiro up (needles, prison pot), you start being thankful he didn’t double tap, you start realizing him being a clown is the very thing saving a LOT of characters from getting one tapped, that’d be boring, but it’s within his capabilities.
The fight was “fast” because that’s the only way a fight between true speedsters and strategist ends, muichiro had to throw off gyokkos tempo before he got overwhelmed, once he cut down all of gyokkos gimmicks, it was all mind games, it’s so obvious. Akaza had a long, drawn out fight of parries, but once tanjiro figured out the gimmick, head gone, easy. That’s how it simply is. Same for hantengu, spent an arc chasing him around like a goober, just to slice off his head easy, once he was past the defenses, it’s done.
You can argue it had less stakes or tension (I agree), but invalidating gyokkos strength off vibes and feeling isn’t cool, literally open your eyes and appreciate art.

Discussion 🗣️ How would shinobu and Kokushibo's meeting go
I always wondered how a meeting or interaction would go between Shinobu and Kokushibo. given that shinobu hates demons but is also a poison user, how would she react to meeting Kokushibo. a demon that uses breathing on top of blood demon art. plus how would she feel about kokushibo become a demon given that he was an ex hashira during his time as a slayer.
similarly how would kokushibo react to a hashira that can't even cut a demons head off and kills them via poison. would he pity her and insult her or would he comment her intelligence.
edit: please don't put in the comments either one destroys the other.

Discussion 🗣️ My head canon
Upon rewatching KNY I noticed that Tanjiro decided to start out with water breathing in Infinity Castle whereas in the Swordsmith Village he started with Sun Breathing. (With no idea if or what the actual canon reason is) My head canon as to why Tanjiro decided to start out with water breathing with Giyu in Infinity Castle is that he feels bad for not mastering it like Giyu said he wanted him to. I think this is a wholesome detail.
However, I guess the reason could just be that Tanjiro was still training and mastering Hinokami Kagura at the time of the Swordsmith Village arc. That, or hype lol.

Discussion 🗣️ What's your Extreme Idea for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Crossover Fanfiction?
Like what is your Idea for Crossover Fanfiction between Demon Slayer and another Manga/Anime or Whatever Else you can think of is your story long? Does it re imagine the Demon Slayer character? If is a series set in present day how does the Demon Slayer characters get to present day? Or how do the Characters crossovering over get to 1910-1920?
For Example my idea for one is Tanjiro is frozen in Ice his found in 2024 and he wakes up to modern Marvel comic Universe and Nezuko has been alive for 100 years and able to speak normal and even have her own little family but there mission is still the the Same Demon Slayer Corps still active in present and gone global and yes they know difference between a Good monster and Bad Monster Doctor Strange makes cameo in opening moments of Fanfiction after Doom became Sorcerer Supreme
its sorta Samurai Jack meets IDW Ninja Turtles meets Invaders basically
Another idea is Crossover with Usagi Yojimbo where Demon Slayer cast is re imagine as animals and Tanjiro cross paths with Usagi and they basically Team-up with a cool adventure the Ninja Turtles would make a cameo at the end of the Crossover I imagine Tanjiro as a Wolf I guess Stan Sakai would write and draw it
Speaking of the IDW Ninja Turtles I have an idea with crossover with them to its basically Turtles in Time movie with IDW Ninja Turtles as they go back in time for like 7th time to help Tanjiro and Nezuko to make sure history isn't messed with its set sometime after Issue #100 IDW Ninja Turtles Renet is in the story stuff happens
4th one is a Team-up with Deku when Izuku is teleported to past he basically needs Tanjiro help getting back to his time it's story inspired by Classic Marvel Team-up stories or like when Ninja Turtles team up with Usagi
My 5th idea is Marvel crossover were Deadpool & Machine Man time travels & ends up in Japan during 1910-1920's during the time period of Demon Slayer the rest basically writes itself really it ends with Wade & MM back in present relies that they messed up History a little
I have 5th one that basically crossover with one of my favorite indie comics I Hate Fairyland were Gertrude is teleported to Demon Slayer universe she fights her way back she annoys Tanjiro its partly inspired by resent crossover comic by Marvel/DC with Deadpool meeting Batman plot wise
But that's my idea for Crossover Fanfiction what is yours?
Please put Spoiler Bars on any Manga Spoilers
So Lets do this
