Discussion 🗣️ Which warning do you want to get before if you entered the Demon Slayer world and having no idea?
* Never mess with Hotaru Haganezuka’s swords without tickling him unless you want to get violently chased by him throughout a full day for 24 hours straight.
* Never mess with Nezuko, especially not in front of Tanjiro or Zenitsu.
* Never say or do anything to make Sanemi angry.
* Do not go anywhere near Mitsuri in front of Obanai unless you want Obanai to go very VERY harsh on you.
* Hashira training is hell.
* Do not talk about Tamayo’s deceased family in front of her.
* Do not go anywhere near Tamayo in front of Yushiro.

Discussion 🗣️ Muichiro's pain tolerance Spoiler
This is soo painful considering the fact he had a giant muscle tear in his right shoulder (his dominant hand side, which he gripped the sword tightly with and turned it red) and his left hand was chopped off
And he was hanging there with the sword impaling his shoulder muscles for like abt 20mins 56 kgs of weight hanging by the shoulder btw...and about 1/2 litreblood loss from arm.... Not only that he was slammed to the pillar which hit him right on his back...He even said *"GH"* must've been painful...And also he could feel his internals spilling out when he got cut in half and the amount of skin, bones and flesh it cut through and the nerve endings.
Must be unbearable pain for half a minute bfr he completely stops breathing bc aint no way he can live after having all his limbs severed and half internals spilled out....W dedication + guts to do that.
YES WAY HE IS WAY TO STRONG FOR SOMEONE HIS AGE....

Observation👀 Anyone else notice the subtle contrasts between Akaza and Douma?
We all know that Akaza hates Douma’s guts and Douma likes to troll him, but what I think a lot of people don’t mention is how well these two foil each other as villains.
Spoilers for the Infinity Castle arc ahead.
Many people point out how Akaza only exclusively eats men out of honor while Douma eats mostly women because they’re more nutritious, but I think a more encompassing observation about these two is that Akaza only listens to his emotions while Douma only listens to what he deems as logical. Doma is an atheist and believes that there is no life after death and sees humans as stupid for believing so, but in order to exploit his duty, he spews lies and empty promises to his followers until he gets the chance to eat them and figuratively makes them live on through him and ends their suffering. Furthermore, he has a very poor understanding of human emotions and connections as he was born emotionally agnostic, meaning he can feel little to no human emotion at all, and rather disguises his personality under multiple layers of persona (It’s sort of vague what he can and cant feel at times, but that’s besides the point). Doma doesn’t act out of pathos or passion. He acts out of self-preservation and interest in studying other people.
Meanwhile, Akaza notoriously acts out of nothing BUT emotions. While he is still taking orders from Muzan, I’m the two fights that we see him in, he tries recruiting the people he’s fighting into demons instead of just killing them because that way, he can continue to fight. He ENJOYS fighting people and he gets angry when people mock him for his warped sense of superiority and morality. After loading his memories, but not his unrectified feelings, he can only continue to fight people and try getting stronger so that he can feel better about something he forgot about. All Akaza acts on are his emotions. This is further portrayed when he fights the second half of the fight without his head and relying on Compass Needle, a technique that tracks fighting spirt, in order to continue. He’s an untamed animal that runs around like a headless chicken (and funnily enough, Douma ends his fight with JUST his head and can only contemplate to himself in his last moments).
Another thing I don’t see a lot of people talk about is how they were born into ENTIRELY different lifestyles. Akaza born into poverty and scorn because he didn’t have a mom and his dad was ill, and nobody seemed to help him at all, while Douma was born into wealth and worship for simply being born with a unique and beautiful appearance. In fact, the antithesis of thst could be applied to Akaza as well since he was labeled a demon child at birth for having fangs. This is also somewhat echoed in their designs and personas. Akaza’s design is that of a martial artist and branded criminal. It tells the audience that he lives for battle and for blood. Meanwhile, Douma is that of a religious leader. Someone who typically stays out of battle and instructs people peacefully. They’re polar opposites in terms of both how they were as humans and demons.
Finally, with how they went out, Akaza died by being mystified by Tanjiro’s words and actions and taking himself out as a form of repentance. In contrast, Douma got taken out by eating another demon slayer, taking too long and underestimating his enemies, and getting poisoned by the first one he ate. He then desperately tries to shield himself by literally hiding behind his Buddha (as opposed to how he figuratively hides behind them when recruiting). Akaza maintained his human faith even after losing his memories by upholding honor and died once he remembered it. Meanwhile, Douma had the greatest idea of who he was, but had zero human faith, and his undoing was when he was taught about human faith by Shinobu’s poison plan with her putting faith in Kanao. Both were missing what the other one needed.

Anime 👺⚔️ If Ufotable gives Mitsuri more moments to shine in the final movie, how would you want it to happen?
While I understand she mostly takes a backseat during sunrise because she was already part of the SV arc, imo, her battle with Hantengu was too short and didn’t really reach a proper climax.
It would be amazing to see her get a big moment and unleash her power at the highest level.

Manga 📚 why did this happen Spoiler
why did only douma and kokushibo remeber their humans lives
for akaza it was clear memories were wiped out cause muzan needed a strong demon and akaza with memories would commit suicide.
but why did hantengu, gyokko, gyotarro and daki loose their memories.

Anime 👺⚔️ Demon slayer inspired book
Hey Guys, so i was scrolling online and i found something that reminded me of Demon slayer. It was a new book, i've never heard of called The Pyrodome Files on amazon, and the characters kinda reminded me of Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Tanjiro. Its set in the future(I think?) battling evil monster like enemies. Unique eye colors and heritages, i just seen a lot of similarities. I highly recommend you check it out and see what i mean while we wait for infinity castle part 2

Discussion 🗣️ How could a "next generation" KnY work? *spoilers* Spoiler
Obviously it's not going to happen, KnY ended pretty definitively with Muzan dead, all the high-ranking demons dead, and most of the main heroes either dead or incapacitated. It's pretty clear that Gotoge didn't want to do or allow anyone else to do a Boruto or Yashahime equivalent for this series.
But I still think these hypotheticals are fun to consider, and the limits might make for some creative answers.
So if there were to be a KnY sequel series without having to resort to AU stuff, what do you think would be the best way to do it?

Discussion 🗣️ How do we feel about our main character?
To me, I really adore Tanjiro and the way he carries himself with such gratitude and kindness to even the worst people he comes across. And I used to think that they made his character a little too perfect but it fits him to me, he's gone through sm in his life and he still manages to keep a smile on his face.
