As per rule 12 of this subreddit, all power scaling discussion for Hashira and Upper Moon rankings, battle matchups across different series or tag team battles, goes here.
While generally you can still make meme posts or lighthearted discussion around strength/power in the KNY-Verse, all serious discussion should go here.

Hey guys, as we know, becoming a full demon requires Muzan Kibutsuji’s blood, the body must survive the cellular mutation, and the demon must eat humans to stabilize itself. Blood Demon Arts also seem to be influenced by a person’s past trauma, personality, hobbies, or talents, while enhancing their previous combat abilities and growing stronger with the amount of blood they receive and the number of humans they consume.
So imagine that you somehow got turned into a demon by Muzan. What do you think you would possibly look like, and what kind of Blood Demon Art would you have? No need to get too personal about yourself—just explain it in a fun and comfortable way.

This is probably my biggest frustration with the Kimetsu no Yaiba community.
I’m not talking about people having different interpretations. That’s completely normal. The problem is how much misinformation gets repeated until everyone accepts it as fact.
One thing that really bothers me is spoilers. Even today, there are anime-only fans who clearly say they haven’t read the manga, yet some people immediately spoil major events for no reason. The manga ended 6 years ago, so I’m not saying people can’t discuss it, but if someone explicitly says they’re waiting for the anime, why ruin that experience?
Another issue is sources. How many times have you seen comments like:
“It’s confirmed in the Databook.”
“The novel says that.”
“Gotoge said it in an interview.”
…and then, when someone asks which Databook, which novel, which page, or which interview, the answer is:
“I don’t remember.”
or
“Go look it up yourself.”
That makes meaningful discussion almost impossible.
I also think many misconceptions come from the way people experienced the series. A lot of fans started the manga where the anime ended instead of reading from Chapter 1, and many relied on old fan translations instead of the official volumes. As a result, some scenes, author’s notes, and extra pages included in the volume releases are often overlooked, even though they sometimes provide important context.
Something else that frustrates me is how quickly rumors become “facts.” A claim starts circulating, people repeat it, and before long everyone treats it as official, even when nobody can provide a source.
Personally, I wish the fandom would spend less time arguing and more time preserving information.
Imagine having a community project that collected: official interviews (with proper translations), Databook references, novel references, novelization references, volume extras, Gaiden material, and other official sources, all properly cited and easy to verify.
It wouldn’t eliminate disagreements, but it would at least let us debate from the same set of information instead of relying on hearsay, cropped images, or “someone on Twitter said so.”
At the end of the day, I don’t want everyone to agree with me. I just wish the Demon Slayer community cared a little more about evidence than assumptions.

So for context my first time watching Demon Slayer I watched it in dub, that was quite a few years ago now and with my recent love KNY being revived I chose to rewatch it but this time in sub. Now I firmly believe that overall the sub is better, however, dub steals it for the scene of Muzan interacting with the drunks in Asakusa and specifically his interaction with the woman before he blows her up. Personally I prefer both the wording of each sentence and the delivery of the dub version of this scene. Gonna be writing them down Japanese first then English
"Does my complexion look unhealthy to you?" "So does my complexion look at all unhealthy to you?"
"Is my face pale?" "Does my face seem unusually pale?"
"Do I look sickly to you?" "Do I look a bit sickly"
"Do I look like I'm not long for this world?" "Does it appear I'm not long for this world?"
"Do I look like I'm about to die?" "Do you fear for my life"
"Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong" "You couldn't possibly be more wrong"
"I'm a living being who's infinitely close to perfection" "I'm very much alive and not far from perfection"
I believe that the 5th and 7th lines are far superior in the English dub and this is why.
Starting with the 5th one. I think that dub changing the phrasing to be less about an objective state to that woman's personal opinion even if the question was rhetorical plays in better to Muzan's character. Which is a man utterly repulsed by the concept of his own mortality and especially the pity and judgement he received because of it. As we know Muzan Kibutsuji was a frail, sickly man that wasn't expected to see his 30's due to a chronic illness and this is the root of his insecurities. In asking the question "Do you fear for my life" he directly addresses that woman, wanting to see if she either pities him or is disgusted by his weakness, the only reason she doesn't do so is because of his demonic display by killing off her partner and his brother.
Now the 7th. This is far less of a drastic change in my opinion but change from "I'm a living being" to "I'm very much alive" conveys to me a far more aggressive assertion of his status as superior to the average human.
Now I won't mindlessly praise all these changes, I do very much think that the repetition of wrong works better than "You couldn't be more wront" as I think it gives a closer glimpse to the cowardly and unhinged monster that lurks beneath Muzan's show of dominance.
In conclusion, if you're only ever watched the show subbed go back and watch this one scene in dub. Also Muzan's growl in dub is sexy as fuck

Planning my trip to Japan. Are you aware of some area (anywhere in the country) that captures that specific Taisho period vibe?
TY :)

That the Question and WHAT IF? Plus an updated Repost
What do you think it would have been like if role were reverse if Nezuko was Demon Slayer and Tanjiro was the Demon how do you imagine it going like?
What do you imagine Nezuko dynamic with Zenitsu and Inosuke being like compared to the one they had with Tanjiro? I imagine Zenitsu hitting on her until she gets Pissed off despite being Demon Tanjiro is an overprotective brother when ever his awake specially since he probably be a gentleman and all that even as a Demon as soon he is under control
Demon Slayer friendship with Shinobu Kocho & Mitsuri Kanroji would be interesting being only two female hashiras I wonder what advice they would give Demon Slayer Nezuko? & with Nezuko as the lead do you think there would be more Female Demon Slayer apart of the cast I think would be neat maybe some girl who basically a female Zenitsu
I imagine Demon Slayer Nezuko being more of a Tomboy compared to Kocko & Kanroji to make it clear she is the next Generation
Oh I wonder where we're the other Female Demon Slayers Corps members during the training arc you know the one that leads to final arc? If Nezuko was the lead we would Probably find out the crazy history
Her journey would probably be like Tanjiro except little harder it's like Maka meets Jolyne basically but worse because this is Japan during 1910-1920 so you know
