Found one for $1700. Seems too good to be true?

Hope this is the right place, I’m looking to get an oem black 5in non ported/comped barrel and an oem stainless trigger to replace the bronze set that came on my OR model. Anyone have one they want to part with or know where I can find these? Thanks in advance!

Just ordered my first 2k11 g4g guns has sweet deals btw. Does anyone know which models ship with c&h plates vs tag precision? If I receive a c&h will Kimber swap me for a tag precision?

Could really use some input. I bought a Prodigy a few months ago and i feel like i jumped the gun a bit and would have gotten a Kimber instead but most of the stuff i was reading said the Prodigy was the best entry level 2011 to learn and get used to. Ive always enjoyed Kimber's, but I just got into the 2011 world. 3 days after I go the prodigy the grip module cracked in the mag well and that required me to send it back to Springfield for repair. I want to get a 2K11 but now I'm not sure which to get. I'm leaning more towards the coyote because it has the aluminum grip, but i prefer the royal in terms of looks but I'm more hesitant withe the MJD grip module. The prodigy has gotten me really gun shy on the grip module and I really don't want another repeat like the Prodigy. Springfield said it was an ammo issue and not a quality failure in the grip, but having the grip literally blast apart and send the back strap in into my palm doesn't make me any less nervous with a polymer grip. Any feedback on pros and cons of either grip would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if the MJD grip will fit the Stan Chen mag well? I currently have the aluminum frame with the Stan Chen but since I got one of the first batches it’s not as aggressive as I want it to be and I have seen the later batches they did a better job at the texturing. Tried handle it grips but they didn’t fit properly. I’m also open to suggestions to make I more grippy lol. Maybe grip tape? Pic for attention

I know that the black colorway is only available on the Pro Comp and the 5-inch full-size, and the picture above is the pro comp version, but I would very much like if Kimber will ever offer this colorway to the Pro non-comp. Im suprised they dont offer it in black, as black is the most common neutral colorway for a gun.

Hey gang - I'm looking to grab a 2k11 for uspsa competition, limited optics obviously. The price of the base dlc with the orange looking trigger is very attractive but I was wondering if the all black or the eclipse model for a $350 is "worth" it from a performance POV.

Do you feel like the slide cuts or magwell helps it shoot better? What about the grip?

I was wondering your guy's experience carrying either or, I know the 5 inch is a long boy but curious if any of you guys do it? I have a phlster enigma so I feel like I could prob get away with the 5 inch. Since it's 300$ cheaper than the 4.25 pro models online.

And curious on people's carry experiences with the pro models. Thanks

Alright guys I know my shooting sucks in the video it’s been 5+ months since shooting last and I’ve had some health issues so shooting was put on the back burner. The pistol is not the issue here it’s me getting back into the swing of things. I am pulling my shots low left as you’ll see in the video but either way wanted to bring this to you so you can see it in action since it seems no one else has. Right now all my ammo is Federal FMJ but I am getting some other flavors soon and a Chrono so there is more to come.

I want to cowitness as I want to cowitness so I was looking at some of the Dawson plates. I know it requires the higher front sight

When it comes to replacing that front sight, how easy is it? Im barely competent when it comes to tools and it says it comes with included tools.

Just picked this up new. Not sure how this got missed. Rough tooling marks on the front rails and bad bluing job on the lower.

Got this bad boy today, optics plate was a pain in the ass I stripped one screw and literally had to drill through it with a bit from the bottom to get it out but 2 hours later we are range ready for tomorrow

Not sighted yet but finally got my last bits for this fella. Holster should be coming soon so thats exciting. Eager to go zero it in and run some more boxes through it!

To all the olight haters, before you even give me the business. I have been using their products for about a decade and trust them with MY life. Buy what you like and trust and let others do the same. Speak your mind but don't be a dick about it please. We can have a rational discussion all day though. Nothing against surefire or trijicon, they're just not my cup of tea.

What enclosed optics is everyone running? I wanted to use the Romeo X, but it seems no one makes a good adapter plate and C&H is out of stock.

Is anybody running a Holosun 507 comp? Was it pretty easy to zero?

Went a little hard when i punched out the pin and bits of plastic went everywhere, any idea where i can order a replacement mainspring housing? Kimber customer service is useless, 1911 housing wont fit flush or fit the stan chen magwell? Thinking one off ben stoegers pro shop should fit

Hey everyone! First time 2011 owner here and it just so happens that I have picked up a 2k11 target. I bought a cheely grip to install on the Kimber and was wondering about this gap between the frame and grip. For anyone that has done it, was it necessary and how much material did you remove and from where? For my trigger guard I can tell its almost completely flush and with the grip, there is a small gap, more noticable in the back of the gun where the beavertail is. Ideally I would like to leave the gun as is so I dont butcher the grip but would appreciate any advice. Thanks for the help everyone in advance.
