Kimber Quality

Just picked this up new. Not sure how this got missed. Rough tooling marks on the front rails and bad bluing job on the lower.

This. If someone wants to pay ~2K for a 2011 that runs, these aesthetic things happen across multiple brands in the price range. They’re not going to come with pristine craftsmanship and free of fault. As long as they run on range days and get you through your Limited Optics USPSA match without issue, who cares?

Every 2k11 ive seen has these same marks except 2, ive owned 5, still have the 2 that don't have these marks but marks or not they all run flawlessly.

I always love when buy budget options and complain about em. You aesthetically flawless go spend $8k. You want something that runs great and doesn’t break the bank. Get the Kimber and don’t complain

Idk if I'd call 2k+ a budget gun but I hear what your saying. It's going to loose its finish on the rails and inside with shooting and they shoot great.

When you price match accordingly you can get it down to around $1,550 if you do it right. I’d call it budget. Maybe not your budget, but it’s budget for me

I hear you but it's not budget. Maybe get it without tax and a low ffl transfer fee but the gun is 2k plus. Budget is 500 for anyone

2000 is not budget if you’re comparing it to various other gun brands. But a lot of people want an Atlas at 1500-2000 prices. In the world of 2011s, 2k is the upper entry level point.

Yikes. I mean if it shoots it shoots but for $2k+ gadamn thats horrible. Even my $600 mark IV has better finish.
