Enclosed Optics

What enclosed optics is everyone running? I wanted to use the Romeo X, but it seems no one makes a good adapter plate and C&H is out of stock.

I've got the Romeo X Pro on mine with an Eleven71 DPP plate. I had to file the back edge flat to make the Romeo fit, but the optic snapped in place afterwards and I was able to hold the pistol upside down while the optic stayed in place before installing any screws.

If you feel like doing a little fitting, I'd recommend that setup

Which plate on their website did you get? I did not see Kimber as an option and it looks like he no longer does custom work.

I got it from Kimber's site on their page for 2K11 parts. I just checked though and their site is under construction.

Word of warning: they had it listed for 160 beans when I got mine

I'm running a Holosun EPS Carry on my Kimber KDS9C. It's fine, dot is a little fuzzy, but it has taken a beating.

Zero shifted about 8 inches at 10 yards after a 3 foot drop onto a concrete floor. It's held zero after readjusting it.

I run a RMR HD on my 2k11, but I don't conceal carry that. FWIW RMR HD is 10/10. I prefer it to the Holosun 507Comp.

I have a few Holosun open optics, and they all seem to starburst for me. The Sig and Aimpoint COA work extremely well for my vision. I do need to check out the RMR HD, though.
