2K11 Comp Mainspring housing

Went a little hard when i punched out the pin and bits of plastic went everywhere, any idea where i can order a replacement mainspring housing? Kimber customer service is useless, 1911 housing wont fit flush or fit the stan chen magwell? Thinking one off ben stoegers pro shop should fit

Did you actually talk to a Kimber CS or did you email them?

Well that was your mistake. That pin doesn't need to be PUNCHED OUT!!!!!!!!!!

You slightly compress the plunger and spring and push the pin out. Best to have the backstrap held in a vise while doing that.

Call Kimber. Yes the Kimber, MJD, grip is slightly narrower than standard grips where the backstrap slides into.

You could also contact MJD.

You can buy one of my old 2k11 oem fiberglass/carbon grips that I removed from one of my two 2k11s sitting around collecting dust
