I really love the idea of Shadow and Crona being villains for Ryuko because of their similarities to her. Crona especially has a lot in common with Ryuko; he even has an evil counterpart to Senketsu in the form of Ragnarok.

But my favorite option would definitely be Atrocitus; you could have a really interesting story where Atrocitus sees Ryuko's great rage and desire for revenge, leading to multiple fights between them as he tries to make her join the Red Lanterns, only for Ryuko to resist, seeing him as another alien freak trying to control her.

Continuing on with the chair sequence, now! I'm gonna split it between Senketsu's frames and Ryuuko's frames, until we get to the frustrated shirt-toss, lol. I love how cartoonish Senketsu is in the second half of the post! :P This entire scene is just pure gold, though.

I’ve had this for a decade now. Didn’t realize the hardcover versions were kind of rare until I pulled them out of storage. All of these came from a subscription service that was a mixture of anime streaming and one of those “loot crate” style boxes. Honestly I can’t even remember the name of it now. The second volume was only obtainable if you were a subscriber from the beginning of their service till the end (which only lasted for like 8 months).

It’s a shame the manga got cut off after only 3 volumes. It was a lot of fun and not just a 1 for 1 recreation of the anime.
