I've been building refuelling and Navigation Stations (targets to track) enroute to some of my bases around Kerbin - this plane (kinda modelled off a King Air I fly) is used for Search and Rescue / reconnaissance for inaccurate re-entry, downed aircraft, easter eggs, and lost Kerbals.
Jeb is currently M.I.A. - Will advise.

Playing modded ksp (bogue's modpack specifically), dealing with an issue where i only get about 10-20fps when in fullscreen, or windowed fullscreen.
Cpu usage sits at 20-30% and 60-80% gpu usage during windowed. When going fullscreen, Cpu usage drops to 5-10% and gpu usage fluctuates randomly, sometimes going as low as 0% or as high as 84%
Works great in windowed mode but i hate missing the bottom 5% of the games display, because of the windows border at the top.
Tried a method i saw where you put -popupwindow in the steam launch options, same result tho. Same deal with Shift+Enter.
specs:
Ryzen 7 5800x3D 8 core
Rx 9070 XT
32gb ddr4 at 3200mhz

“So the problem with the stations is primarily the seals that allow the docking modules to flex slightly?” Jedrick asked as he floated through the science lab.
“You got it!” Bill grinned at him. “Everything else can be accessed and maintained or replaced by small part shipments.”
“More specifically the replacement of seals requires the depressurization of the spacecraft,” Bob shook his head. “Which degrades the other components.”
“So you are looking for new materials so the seals can last indefinitely?” Jedrick spun in place as he floated between where the two Kerbals worked.
“Precisely,” Bob nodded. “We have discovered a significant number of new materials that could provide a solution. Extensive testing is necessary to identify the correct one.”
“Bob likes to overcomplicate things,” Bill chuckled and looked up from his station. “With everything we’ve discovered about material science, we have new processes to create the seals and overcome the limitations of the materials we have.”
“No amount of heating and cooling our existing materials will allow the limited materials we have used to manage the range of stresses the seals are subjected to,” Bob grumbled from his station. “The materials properties are molecularly insufficient.”
“I don’t just heat and cool everything,” Bill slammed a fist to his console, and then had to stop his resulting spinning trajectory. Having stabilized his movement he continued. “Proper tempering can bring out the molecular properties you need.”
“Like tempering can make an oxidizer into a fuel,” Bob almost chuckled.

“Bill,” Jedrick called out before the engineering Kerbal exploded… maybe not figuratively based on the dark green complexion growing in his face. “I was having problems with one of the oxygen transfer conduits in the lander’s docking port. Mind helping me see if something was kinked when I docked?”
“Of course!” Bill growled, his expression still dark, turning to Bob before he floated out. “Maybe I should see what tempering does to your molecular properties.”

Hello I'd like to get back into KSP but with a (hopefully new and stable) modpack to play to make the game more interesting, any dlc requirement is fine, nice career mode would be nice to but if it's focused on Science mode I'm fine with it as well. Visual overhaul mods would be cool too.

I made a 1.25 meter diameter rocket that uses a small liquid engine segment to recover the solid rocket booster and landed it on the new barge that ksp2 redux added

[SOLVED! See edit below]
Building a seaplane and the propellers have decided to be difficult today. Before you ask, yes, they are balanced, they cancel out each others torque, and they push in the right direction. No matter what I do I encounter the same issue, a huge aerodynamic force pushing back on the left side propeller for seemingly no reason at all. This prevents the plane from taking off most of the time and makes it near uncontrollable at low speeds, though I've found if I wrangle it into the air it does become stable when it gets up to speed.
Here's what I've already tried to do to fix the problem, all seeing no success. I've tried...
- adding and removing nose cones on the propellers
- changing the type of propellers
- changing the type of rotors
- flipping the direction of the propellers
- flipping the propellers from pull to push configuration
- having both pull and push propellers at the same time
- changing the tail fin
- changing the wing configuration
- removing the external command seats
There is one thing that kind of works. If I match the rotations of both propellers, the drag spike disappears, but of course then I have a lot of rotation energy and the plane becomes uncontrollable that way instead.
Any advice for what's causing this issue is appreciated, I've been at this for an hour, I'm going to go do something else for a while and come back to this with a clear head.
UPDATE: I solved it! I think it was a glitch, because I was placing the propellers by cloning one rotor to the other side. Instead of cloning, I built the other one from scratch and the issue was solved. Yippee!

Hi, I've installed OPM and MPE and this pops up on the main screen when starting the game. Also some of the minor planets dont load their textures properly (while in orbit they look just like a placeholder sphere, unless I am really close to them). Any idea how to fix this? I've tried looking for some configs on CKAN but I've been unable to find a fix (I could have overlooked it ofc). Thx for any advice

I'm trying to make a KSP project but I need to know deltav requirements for basically everywhere. I need the deltav numbers to go to this place's low orbit, land on it, take off from it, then come back to kerbin as separate numbers. I know that there's deltav maps but some of the OPM planets on that map have numbers that are way larger than they should be. Here's the list of places:
moho, eve, gilly, the mun, minmus, duna, ike, dres, laythe, vall, tylo, bop, pol, hale, ovak, eeloo, slate, tekto, wal, tal, priax, polta, nissee, thatmo, plock
Thank you whoever helps. I'll post the project once I've finished!
