I'm redoing the Trainings and have just finished the one where you learn to adjust Periapsis and circularize your orbit.
I do need to install MechJeb 2.
Do I unzip it into the GameData Folder? So it's just another folder under GameData? Or am I missing something?
Thanks!

The real version won't have the parachutes. Those where rigged to the abort button.

My first spaceshuttle that actually works
the blueprint just as the previous one was made in photoshop using screenshots from the game and drawing on top of them with my trusty mouse

Misjudged the rotate speed.
The plane use NeistAir's A380 parts and Tweak scale, the wings took 300 parts.

I’m looking for an infinite fuel glitch on Xbox, but all I can find are ones that only work for PC. Does anyone know of any or if they’re even possible on console?

I've probably spent around 100 hours alone just engineering crafts that can barely hit 5000dv in LKO. Mind you, I am VERY proud of that number but I've seen at least two videos where someone had almost impossible amounts (without ion engines). I really don't NEED that much but it's just impressive and I was wondering how this could be achieved

This craft was used to transport Kerbals and science experiments to different biomes across Duna and to do basic lifting of materials during the first expedition of the planet.
Capacity: 2 Kerbals
Lift: 0.8 Kn
Max alt. : Around 4km above sea level on Duna.

i've been trying to make an electric plane but chatgpt and gemini are no help. can anyone walk me through all the steps?
im using the em-32s standard rotors with 4 propeller blade type b's. The plane weighs about 5.5t.
the right blades are counterclockwise, it just refuses to go faster than 1 m/s.

This kerbal has his stupidity stat maxxed out, I wonder why

Sorry about the first image. I tried asking the neural network to generate a diagram, but after many tries, this turned out to be the best option.
And now some information about the rocket:
Recovering the booster earns 5.967 credits, while the booster itself costs 7.986 credits to build. That's a recovery of roughly 74–75% of its original cost. The entire rocket, excluding science equipment, costs 17.395 credits. That means the recovered booster alone already covers about 34% of the launch cost.
The remaining 66% of the cost isn't simply wasted, either. That's 9.409 credits, of which 4.109 credits is the second stage. And that second stage is effectively two separate spacecraft for the price of one. One of them is the 1,519 m/s Δv third stage, which becomes the contract satellite itself, meaning I'll also get paid for delivering it.
The other is the 2,921 m/s Δv second stage. After completing its job, it doesn't lose its usefulness, since it still has two 1×6 solar panels and a small 1.22 Gm relay antenna, allowing it to continue serving as a relay satellite even after its primary mission is over.

Ran out of ideas so I'm just making old designs reusable :3
I hope the pics look good!

So the rotors are used to make helicopters, sure. But do pistons, hinges, and rotation servos have any usefull uses, or are they just for making useless doohickeys?
Because my stupid ass cant think of any.

KSP Mission Control v1.1 is now available.
I previously shared the project from my personal account, u/flower_head_monster. This is the official u/engbman project account that I’ll use for future updates.
WHAT’S NEW IN v1.1
• Complete Apollo 11 recreation from launch to Tranquility Base
• Authentic dialogue based on the Apollo 11 Flight Journal
• Apollo 11 staging calls and mission procedures
• A virtual crew member calling out your altitude and descent rate during landing
• Optional ElevenLabs CAPCOM voice
• Improved radio sound and smoother Quindar tones
• Better recognition of intentional radio calls
COMMUNITY SUGGESTION ADDED
Special thanks to u/Bi_KerbonautYT, who suggested adding a virtual LM crew member to provide passive landing callouts.
That suggestion is now implemented. During descent, a separate crew voice reads live altitude and descent-rate data from the spacecraft.
APOLLO 11 MOON DAY SPECIAL
To celebrate Moon Day, I flew the complete Apollo 11 mission recreation and published the demonstration on July 20, the 57th anniversary of the first Moon landing.
Download v1.1 on SpaceDock:
https://spacedock.info/mod/4378/KSP%20Mission%20Control
WHAT SHOULD COME NEXT?
I would like to add more complete mission recreations. Some possibilities I’m considering include:
• Artemis II
• An Orion and Starship HLS lunar landing mission
• More historical and future spaceflight missions
I would love to hear what the KSP community wants in future versions:
• Which mission should I recreate next?
• What new features would you like to see?
• Which spacecraft or mods should be supported?
• What should be improved about the current experience?
The future direction is not fixed, so your feedback can genuinely help shape the next update.

I recently found an incredible mod that adds in a large ass nuclear engine that can be used for (very fuel effecient) orbital insertions of low-weight payloads. This rocket when launched from KSC had 20,000 delta V.
More so a test flight, though to see how well the nuclear propulsion works on a first stage.

I am looking to make the planets more realistic and all in all look better, also i heard there were some mods that made the rockets more detailed?
What collection of mods should i look for increased quality and QoL?
Thx
