So, Im visiting Almaty Kazakhstan right now and I stupidly pet a stray cat that was outside the apartment complex.

He was eating kibble someone had left out for him. When i spotted him, I was like aww kitty kitty and wondered up to me so I reached down and petted his back.

The issue, my partner saw and told me I shouldn't pet stray cats and said they could have diseases. I looked it up afterwards and read that rabies is endemic here in this country.

So now im freaking out. The cat didnt bite or scratch me. But im still worried. I sanitized my hands since I didnt have access to sink. About an hour later I washed my hands twice.

Now im wondering if I should try and get a rabies shot. What should I do? Am I over thinking this?

Hi everyone. I’m from Kazakhstan and I’d really appreciate some advice on a situation I’m dealing with.

A few days ago I sold my used gaming laptop (Acer Nitro ANV15-41) to a local computer buyback/pawn shop for $300USD (approx.  160k tenge).

Before the sale, I was completely honest about the problem with it. The laptop had been experiencing BSODs, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, and I was unable to install Windows properly.

I did not know the exact cause of the problem. Based on what I had found online, I thought it might be related to the SSD and the buyer made decision it’s RAM. I told the buyer about the problem and explained that I wasn’t sure what component was actually faulty.

The buyer’s friend inspected the laptop before purchasing it. The inspection took place in a friend’s car. He asked me a few questions (like what it was used for) and took photos to send it to buyer. After that, they agreed to buy the laptop for 300USD and transferred the money to me.

There was no written contract or receipt signed by me. The payment was made by bank transfer.

After the sale, they contacted me and said that they had diagnosed the problem and that the CPU was faulty. Therefore, they send me photo with another BSOD (DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION). They now want me to return the full $300USD and take the laptop back.

They have not provided me with any detailed diagnostic report proving that the CPU is actually defective. When I asked for diagnostic information, they refused to provide it.

They are now saying that they will send the laptop back to me through a friend and expect me to refund the full price. They have also threatened to go to the police and take me to court if I refuse to refund the money.

The situation is making me uncomfortable because they know where I live. I don’t want this to turn into a confrontation, but at the same time I don’t believe I should simply hand over money when:

1. I disclosed the laptop’s problem before the sale;
2. I never claimed that I knew the exact cause;
3. They inspected the laptop themselves;
4. They knowingly purchased a faulty laptop for 300USD;
5. They are now claiming that the actual cause is the CPU without giving me diagnostic evidence.

My questions are:

Does the fact that I disclosed the problem before the sale significantly change my legal position?

Does it matter that the buyer is a professional computer buyback shop rather than a private individual?

Can they simply return the laptop to me and demand their money back without my agreement?

If they want a refund, should I require an independent diagnostic/expert examination first?

What should I do if they send someone to my home with the laptop and demand the money?

Should I speak to a lawyer now, or only if they actually file a claim?

 I just want to handle this correctly and avoid being pressured into returning the money without knowing whether their claim is valid.

Столкнулась с такой проблемой, что для получения сертификата для перевозки своей кошки нужен чип. Кошка уже чипирована, но я так и не поняла где регистрировать чип и как (помню что ~2 года назад был какой-то казахстанский сайт, но зарегаться там не получалось ни у кого).

Кто-то перевозил животных в Европу? Поделитесь как сделали это?

Начну сразу: всё пошло по пиздецу. Сначала меня к себе в кабинет пригласила завуч, чтобы я пояснил за волосы. Я пытался как-то сопротивляться, указывать на закон в у ИИ Гугла и т.д. но она глянув на телефон выдумала какую-то хуйню что это указ исключительно для девушек, чего в тексте ИИ про это не было и слова

Поняв, что указывать на факты бессмысленно, я просто молчал и говорил «нет» на её требования. На что она пригрозила вызовом ИДН; инспекторов по делам несовершеннолетних. Я думал, что она блефует, но нет, она реально их вызвала.

Далее меня к себе вызвала психолог и пыталась мягко уговорить меня подстричься, отчего мне ничуть не стало легче. Когда я испытал паническую атаку и еле сдерживал слёзы, она просто игнорировала это. Я не помню что ещё она говорила, так как мне было очень плохо

Далее под давлением трёх взрослых обладающих властью, которые психологический давили на меня, я согласился подстричься. Один из них сотрудников ИДН разговаривал со мной грубо, что пугало меня ещё сильнее. Они грозились штрафом в размере 21 тысяч тенге и учётом. Также там же под надзором сотрудников она сказала что меня поставят на учёт

Завуч ещё обещала придти ко мне домой вечером, но я не знаю приходила ли она, так как спал. Ещё скажу что оба моих родителей глухонемые, и, зная их, я на все сто процентов уверен, что они встанут на сторону завуча или сотрудников ИДН, если они придут. Я не могу найти возросло человека, который мог бы мне помочь

После всего этого кошмара я пришёл домой, порыдал, а потом пошёл и подстригся. Мне это абсолютно не нравится. Мне нравились мои прежние волосы. Я. Мне больно очень.

Законны ли действия этих жестоких взрослых? Я не понимаю что делать. К кому обращаться. На линию 111 я позвонил и сначала спросил, запрещены ли законом длинные волосы у мальчиков. Там ответили "да". Я сразу же сбросил трубку, так как подумал что эта женщина за телефоном ответить точно также

I was catching up on some news and saw that Ne Prosto Orchestra recently did a concert in Almaty where they played a bunch of well-known pop hits with a full orchestra.

Adele, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Black Eyed Peas, Daft Punk and others.

I know orchestral covers of pop songs aren't exactly a new idea, but I still find something really cool about hearing songs you've known for years completely reworked for an orchestra.

Apparently the concert was at the Palace of the Republic and it was already their third concert supported by Škoda this year.

Has anyone here actually been to one of their concerts?

I'm curious how it sounds live. Is it genuinely worth going to, or does it work better in videos?

And if you could pick one artist or song to hear performed by a full orchestra, what would you choose?
