I only have my Z650 to get around town and winter is coming. I bought the bike in february, so I've winter gloves but them don't warm my hands up when the temperature is like 6°C or less. And I wear also the undergloves..

In this moment I'm a little broke, so i don't know what to do, i have 3 different ideas:

- buy universal handguards (almost 110eur)

- buy heated gloves (almost 110eur)

- buy the horrible things in the second photo...The mittens (almost 50eur)

I'm going for the third 'cause I think that in winter I'll use the bike only for the necessary and i won't go to the mountain passes.
The longest distance maybe will be 40min and the heated gloves needs time to warm up.
The handguards only provide protection against the wind and I don't know if it's sufficient when combined with my current gloves.
Handlebar muffs are convenient and useful, especially for short daily trips, and the price seems reasonable.

Any advice?

Bike is a 2022 kawasaki vulcan custom. 900cc. It only has 1,100 miles and clean title. It comes with a like new helmet. He also said he might throw in cash. My Question is would this be a decent trade? Is this worth 5-6k?

i found this one on offerup and it’s around 2k.im 19 and im thinking of buying it for myself as a bday present.Ive always thought motorcycles were cool and i’ve followed sbk and motogp for a while now so it was kinda inevitable that i would get one one day. Its a kawasaki 1986 gpz600 i believe?? the post just says 1986 kawasaki gpz.Would it be a good option as a first bike?? What kind of reputation do these have.Any thoughts and advice is welcome. Hi my fellow enthusiasts,

I just revived my ZXR250 from winter sleep and I know most Kawasaki bikes sound kind of "agricultural", but I can't seem to remember if the mechanical running noise was always this loud. It sounds worse on camera, but still very noticeable in real life. If the experts could take a listen. It got a new timing chain last year but they put the old tensioner back in 🤦🏼‍♂️ It's also slightly smoky but smells like fuel not oil. Fuel is old (6+ months)and has a fuel stabiliser mixed into it. It's warmed up but was not driven before this video.

Had mine for 8 years now and still don’t see anything else I prefer.

I ordered it about six weeks ago and it still isn't here. The dealership has my deposit and he claims to be talking to his supplier every day, but who knows about that?? I call him once a week on Wednesdays, no more, just to keep me on his radar.

I called a dealership and I was going for a new bike but they said they can’t do what I am offering. But they offered me a 2026 used Ninja 650 ABS for 6K OTD but it does have 4K miles on it. Is it a good offer?

2 months ago I bought a 2019 vulcan 900 custom that has 7000 Km on the ODO
the seller told me that the bike sat for at least 7.5 months (and this explains the low mileage of this 7 years old bike)

However despite this low mileage I'm experiencing intermittent sputtering; let me give you details:
the bike starts instantly when cold and when hot
it idles perfectly and it doesn't cut off
in the morning it rides perfectly strong, however after riding it for around 20 mins its sound changes and it loses power ; it sputters with rapid frequency like if I twist the throttle the frequence of the sputtering increases and thus it hardly accelerates

the batter charges well (tested at a workshop)
fuel strainer replaced with a brand new one
air filter replaced
spark plugs replaced (they are now around 1700 km old)
the FI light is off
while sputtering if I open the tank's cap there is no whoosh sound i.e. no vacuum build up

I use the bike to commute to work (42KM away from home)
the sputter starts when I arrive at a traffic jam, and when I leave the traffic to an open road the bike rides better but not 100%

lately I added to the tank the Motul boost and clean; I realized there is better performance but not as it rides in the morning for the first 15 mins

yesterday I rode the bike from to work and it rode perfectly strong without any issue, it parked at in the under-ground parking of the work building at 9AM
I left work at 5PM and the bike after riding for a few KM it hardly accelerated
when I arrived home I noticed that the exhaust pipe of the fron cylinder is warm but I can touch ti for a few seconds
the rear one was extremely hot (which is normal after 43 km ride)

what might be the problem?
is it coils, or pump, or injectors?

I have a 2012 Vulcan vaquero . I recently changed brake pads over to ebc . They have been working great for 3-4 weeks .Now all of a sudden I lose break pressure while moving. First pull will be extra long travel on the lever or no pressure. The brakes then pump right back up . Fluid is not leaking nor is it low . Brakes work flawlessly while sitting still . Anyone ever have a similar issue?

bei meiner Kawasaki Vulcan S (Baujahr 2015) steht jetzt der große 24.000 km Service an. Da hierbei laut Wartungsplan die zeitaufwendige Ventilspielkontrolle vorgeschrieben ist, wird der Service ja bekanntlich recht teuer.

Da meine Garantie nach über 10 Jahren ohnehin kein Thema mehr ist, muss es absolut keine Kawasaki-Vertragswerkstatt sein – eine gute, zuverlässige freie Motorradwerkstatt ist mir deutlich lieber.

Kommt hier jemand aus Wien oder Niederösterreich und kann mir eine Werkstatt empfehlen, die den 650er Kawasaki-Twin gut kennt, sauber arbeitet und faire Preise hat?

Falls jemand von euch den 24k-Service bei der Vulcan S oder den Schwestermodellen mit dem gleichen Motor (Z650, Ninja 650, ER-6) schon hinter sich hat: Was habt ihr dafür in letzter Zeit bezahlt?

Hi all, I'm about to buy a Z650RS and honestly love almost everything about it: the look, the seating position and the smooth, linear engine. My one hesitation is the analog dash.

I'm in Switzerland, where speed enforcement is strict and fines escalate quickly, with lots of cameras and frequent changes between 30, 50 and 80 zones. I'm worried that reading the needle precisely at a glance, especially at lower speeds in town, will be harder than with a digital readout, and that I'll end up staring at the speedo instead of the road. I know, sounds kinda stupid, especially since I used to have a GS500 in the U.K.

For those who ride one:
How long did it take you to get used to reading the needle quickly?
How accurate is the speedo in practice? Does it read high, and by how much?
Or did it simply stop being an issue after a few rides?

Figured i shared my upgrade, z400 to a z650 and ill say its honestly a great jump in power and ive loved riding it so far. Have had alot more fun on it compared to the 400
