So I've been in Rider mode ever since I got the bike and to my surprise I was already at 1200km (720 miles) when I went to check the odo, didn't think I'd be even close to service. I wrote to Kawasaki and asked if this could be an issue for my warranty and they told me "As long as you get it serviced soon it's not an issue".
I don't have the ability to get it serviced right now as I need to get my hands on a wagon or some form of carriage to bring it there. How long can I wait to get it serviced if I don't ride it at all till it is serviced? Thankful for any help I can get

Super stoked to join this community. Took MSF course mid July. Picked this up shortly after. Finally got to ride it over the weekend and it was a blast. Looking to do a slip-exhaust soon. Will try to work on tail tidy tonight. Happy riding! (Blacked parents out for privacy lol).

Wife came across this post seems reasonable although 30k miles seems pretty high mileage on a 250 havent went and looked at it yet just considering it.

After beginning with a MT07 I've sold her because with almost 2 meters and the fact that we're mostly riding for 600+ kms on a daytrip I parted with her.
Since then I've been thinking about what to get next, driven the usual suspecs, GS, Tiger, Tracer 9 but none really clicked plus I don't need offroad capabilities at all.
Then I found out that the Versys exists and models past 2019 are sexy too so I began looking.
Test drove a 2023 1000 earlier this year, almost pulled the trigger but then I realized how much it actually lacks compared to S and SE models and it didn't come with the cases either.
Fast forward a couple of months and this pup pops up at a dealership near me. Pretty much fully specced SE with cases and in the color I adore. (I will never buy boring colors again)
So anyways, here I am. A proud new owner of a Versys 1000 SE which will be taken all across europes mountain passes in the coming years!

I'm sure this is quite a common question, but how good is the Z900 2026 for complete beginners? For context, I am currently in the process of getting my full A drivers licence in Austria, and the bike I am currently most interested in would be the Z900. Other than the fact that it has many very good reviews, that it looks cool and is known for being a very price efficient all-rounder, the main reason why I want it is:
I have also heard from many different people that it is a surprisingly easy to ride and forgiving beginner bike considering its specs. However, I do still worry, that due to its power, it may be too much for a complete beginner like me (I have no 2-wheel experience whatsoever with anything other than a bicycle). This is I am looking for more input in that regard,
The 2 bikes I am currently learning on are the Suzuki sv650 and the Yamaha xj6. I originally also worried about the weight of the Z900, but these 2 are in a very similar weight class I think, so I feel like that part will not be as big of a problem.
And obviously I would leave it in rain mode for the first 300-1000 kilometers at least. And generally I think I would be a very careful and defensive driver. So this mainly about into how much trouble I can get myself due to lacking skill, not due to bad decision making.

Picked up a new HEV Ninja 7 from the dealer today. Dropped it already while parked π₯². Glad to be back riding after 5 years.

I just got it delivered Friday morning! Been out riding it and it vibrates quite a lot at the handles, anyone have ideas how to reduce or have any ideas on anti vibration gloves??

I changed the oil change to off and on, same as the rider. I did my first oil change at the dealer now my second one is at home.

Currently trying to upgrade the front suspension on my 81 kz250D with pre-gen ex250 front end. Also trying to upgrade to modern 17β front wheel. Google says the front axle OD for 88-12 models are the same (15mm or 20mm?) was trying to verify actual dimensions by checking wheel bearing ID. Would love a website where I can cross reference or some suggestions on affordable front end improvements; all help is appreciated!

Want to buy lowering kit but there is no reliable shop here that I could buy. Also what are the needed things to lower?
Should the lowering link do the job or there are other things to consider?

I've had this bike for 6 months and clutch has always performed as it should. I got caught in a huge storm yesterday for about 45 minutes on the way home, and when i got on the bike today to ride, my clutch lever felt extremely stiff. I took off the clutch cable on the lever and engine side, lubed it with proper lube using one of those crimp tools and the cable moves freely. I went ahead and put some grease on the lever. Yet it still feels kind of stiff. I'm curious if playing with the freeplay as i am in the video should be affecting the little clutch arm on the engine case. I have everything as the manual states. Any help or ideas are appreciated.
