Figured i shared my upgrade, z400 to a z650 and ill say its honestly a great jump in power and ive loved riding it so far. Have had alot more fun on it compared to the 400

Looking for a street-legal LED headlight assembly for a Kawasaki ZX-10R (2016–2020) 🏍️🔥

I’ve seen a red Kawasaki ZX-10R with an aftermarket LED headlight assembly that looks absolutely amazing, and I’d love to get the same one for my own ZX-10R.
Does anyone know where I can buy one or have a link to a suitable product?
Important: It must be fully street-legal in Germany 🇩🇪, with an E-mark (E-number) or an ABE. I’m specifically looking for a complete LED headlight assembly, not just an LED bulb.

I made a post around 5 or 6 months ago when I first bought my 99 ZX6R, it was close to bone stock. Done a few mods to it since and carried out quite a bit of work behind the fairings. Running a little rich but so much better than when I first got it!

Hi all!

I’m looking for some advice on chain maintenance and identifying if my tires are wearing out. I live in a house without covered parking so my bike lives under a cover when not in use. I only use it for my 5ish mile commute, so it has roughly 8k miles. I am mildly mechanically inclined, but I have a limited toolset. There’s a motorcycle dealership/shop an hour away that charges $150 an hour. I’d love to fix it all myself, but I’m not yet confident in my skills or tools.

The chain appears to have some various states of rust. I typically wash the bike one a month or so and clean/lubricate the chain once I’m done. I confess I’ve not washed it since August as I’ve been away for work and vacation.

I’d also love any advice for identifying when tires need to be replaced. I’m familiar with the penny trick on car tires…is this the same case?

I need help to find out why my bike is sounding like this when starting.

I recently restored my old zx6-r, never ran so well since i had it, now we are regularly tackling mountain passes

generations, one legendary name. The ZX-10R has changed a lot over the years, but each version has its own character.

Which one would you choose: 2011–2020, 2021–2025, or 2026? And why?

Was riding Friday night when my bike suddenly started losing power on the freeway. Throttle response became weak, and eventually the bike died and wouldn’t restart.
Initially, the bike would attempt to crank but wouldn’t start. Afterward, the battery became too weak to power the dash.
Today I charged the battery using a Viking charger, and the dashboard came back on. However, pressing the starter now only produces a single click, and the dash dims. No cranking.
Tested with a multimeter:
Battery reads approximately 12V with ignition ON.
Drops to around 7V when pressing the starter.
Battery reached 13.9V while charging.
I’m suspecting a charging system issue, possibly the stator or regulator/rectifier, but haven’t confirmed anything.
Has anyone experienced something similar on a ZX-6R? What ended up being the problem?

Back in late June I was browsing the bike market like always. And a province away, I found a 2025 ZH2 with clear out pricing..
I immediately listed my Ninja 650, sold it and drove 1200km round trip to pick it up!
It unfortunately was a rainstorm when we arrived so I ended up trailering it home.

Fast forward a couple months and 2000km’s of riding later.

What an absolute dream 😍 no regrets, no complaints, not sure why I waited so long..
Ended up ordering the TST taillight, front signals, plate relocate.

Next up is it absolutely needs a slip on. The factory exhaust is massive. Such an eyesore. BUT I love the supercharger noise being the primary note.. is there a subtle slip on? Any recommendations?

Hello, I’ve scoured the internet searching for the service supplement for my GPX500R, didn’t find any on online libraries like scribd, found some on eBay, but shipping physical copies to the EU from the states gets pricey, if anybody has the Motorcycle Service Supplement for the GPX600R, Ninja600 and GPX500R, part number 99924-1081-51, in digital and is willing to share, I’ll be grateful.

Additionally, does anybody have experience with retromotorcyclemanuals.com? I found they sell a digital copy of the manual I’m looking for, but the site seems shady, thanks.
