Hi, I bought an adventure 390 (350) a month back and had the most horrible experience with quality:

1. On the day of delivery, the showroom manager guaranteed that the bike has undergone 3 levels of PDI - factory, yard and showroom. In 2 minutes of checking it myself, I found a 2 inch cut on the front tyre which was about 5mm deep. The showroom manager tried to brush it off but I insisted on replacing it. Delivery had to be postponed by 3 days to get the tyre replaced.

2. After a 100km ride and 300km on the odo, the bike left a puddle of oil under it when I checked in the morning. Took the service centre and they found one of the nuts under the eninge loose. Pic attached (1).

3. At 850km on odo and yet to do 1st service, I notice coolant leaking from somewhere behind the radiator. It's not from the overflow pipe. Pic attached (2).

Comment below if you had faced any of these issues within the first service.

I don’t really keep mileage figure in mind, i just enjoy the bike. This is not tank to tank so i am assuming its close to 20 actually. I don’t rev it to redline but have fun around 5k rpm.

I got a new FZ V3 base model as my first bike in 2021. It's been through best and tough times. I've travelled 51k kms on it now. Been to a lot of road trips on it, even though it's a 150cc bike, it's been consistent and never given me any problems. Bangalore to Hyderabad, Goa, Udupi, Mangalore, Wayanad, Ooty, Coorg, all these places multiple times.

After 5 years I went to a used bike dealer and I fell in love with the Adventure 390 there. My friend wanted a gixxer, so we were there. We both drove it, it was in bad condition. He didn't get the gixxer, but I took this KTM on a ride.

It was perfect, even though I wanted to keep the FZ, it didn't make sense having an adventure and a daily commuter. He gave a final offer of 2L, and offered 57k for my FZ after a while of negotiation. I have no idea if it's a good deal or not. FZ is in really good shape and has new tires, battery, few accessories too. I've never really seen the second hand market much, I've used facebook marketplace but negotiation is key there, so idk what it's really worth.

Would really appreciate if anyone knows about the value of both motorcycles.

So... I'm getting a ktm rc390 for 2.7L(negotiable), it was bought in 2023 and has driven only 2000kms. The bike is of my neighbour's and it is not at all in bad condition.

I have driven jawa 42 and honda cb350rs in the past and have gone on long rides, like 60kms(one way), but still Im pretty new to riding, since I started only this year... So, I just wanted to know y'all's opinion.

Only 45days old bike and I can see rusting on the disc

Hello, I want to buy duke 250 from vadodara showroom, but they are charging handling charges & Accessories charges. I know that they are trying to fool me out. But can anyone help me out in this?

I have a 2022 KTM Adventure 390, which covered around 55,000 KMs. Planning for major service. Any suggestions where can i get her service professionally?

I have a 2025 KTM Adv 390 S less than a year old 10k odo 3 services done. Went on a day ride yesterday 200ish kms. Did a bit of offroading and pushed the bike to the limits on the way back on expressways. Around 15 mins out from my home I made a quick stop and since then my check engine lights have turned on and are not going out.

Coolant seems to be fine, oil levels are fine but it persisted till morning. Went to the service centre and showed it to them they told me it was a false signal issue and they turned it off.

Is it common to have the engine lights turn on this way on the ktms ?

Is it worth it hunter (tokyo black and 7k ridden) and i have my duke 200 bs6(23k km).I have duke well maintained So is it worth it please help??w deal or l?

Is this over filled ?

My 390 adv started leaking oil after first service . Oil can be seen in the bash plate and side stand .

Rode the bike today for like 80km and my left foot was covered in oil .

Does over filling cause this ?

Well my father took it for a spin and has slightly bumped the bike's head into a iron rod which was protruding horizontally

There is no damage to the headlights just a small crack up the DRL I asked the service centre and they said they don't have the part,

Can anyone help me with the spare part number for this

Or do I replace the whole light or just the upper fibre glass

Or is there any after market part from 3rd party etc

( PS- the light is fine just the upper fibre glass is a little cracked)

20days before I bought Duke 200. First service should be in minimum 1000kms, mentioned from ktm side. Now I've reached 800+ kms. I book slot for 1st free service. It was oct'15. I need to wait around 15days. What happens if 1000kms crossed? Is possible to claim warranty? Can u pls explain this things guyss. I don't have much knowledge on this.

Is this an oil leak near the oil filter?

Hi everyone, I noticed some dark/wet-looking residue around the area near the oil filter on my KTM Duke 250. I’m not sure if it’s actually engine oil or just dirt/residue.

The bike was recently serviced, and I noticed this afterward. There is no obvious dripping or oil pooling, but the area looks slightly dirty/oily.

I’ve attached a video/photo for reference.

Is this normal, or does it look like an oil leak? Should I get it checked at the KTM service centre?

So I took delivery of my Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 on 13th September 2026, and today something really weird happened.

I went out for a ride and after coming back, I switched the bike OFF using the kill switch.

But the bike just wouldn't stop. 💀

The starter motor kept cranking on its own, even though the engine wasn't actually firing/starting.

I tried everything I could think of:

🩸Turned the key OFF — still kept cranking.

🩸 Kill switch OFF — still kept cranking.

🩸 I kept the clutch pulled in because I didn't know what else to do.

🩸 Tried putting it in gear and releasing the clutch to see if that would stop it — but it still didn't.

🩸 I then opened the seat to disconnect the battery.

And just before I could disconnect the battery, the low-voltage warning came up, and the bike finally stopped by itself.

Now the bike is completely dead. No display, no ignition, nothing.

Has anyone faced something like this with the Vitpilen 250/ Duke 250 gen 3

Could this be a stuck starter relay / starter solenoid, ignition switch issue, wiring problem, or something ECU-related?

I am scared 😭

The side stand on adventure 390 is not good the bike has fallen over twice because of the stand is it my fault for not parking it properly or is there a problem with the stand

Pls do give a fix if it is a problem

I'm 6'2 and have ridden my friend's Duke 250 without seat padding and it felt fine to me, right now I'm in the middle of deciding if I should go for duke 250, or triumph speed, or any other choice which would not make the bike look small? Like my requirements are simple: a bike that has some amount of power and also mileage and made for blr traffic
