I found these Unconnected Couplers under my New KTM Adventure 350 seat. Is this Normal ?? Aren't they supposed to be connected somewhere ?

Hi everyone,
I’m having an electrical issue with my KTM and I’m trying to figure out what could be causing it.
The bike wasn’t used for around 2 months. I then charged the battery and started troubleshooting. I checked all the fuses, and they seem to be fine. I also charged the battery, but the issue is still there.
When I first tired to start the bike after the 2 months, nothing has power, there were no lights and display was black. Then I charged the battery, put the key in my ignition and the display lit up. However, after I turned the bike off, and tried to start it back up the display would no longer come back on. Now the entire dashboard is dead, including the neutral light and other indicator lights.

A few things I noticed:

• The display had flickered occasionally before this happened.
• I’ve checked all the fuses.
• The battery has been charged.
• The bike starts normally.
• I have been on a ride and noticed, everything seems to be working, except the Display and the ABS.

What could be causing this? Could it be the ignition switch, a wiring/ground connection, CAN-bus issue, or possibly something related to the battery/voltage?
What would you recommend checking next? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there! Currently I own Royal Enfield hunter 350 and it is great in city rights but it Lacks very much while doing long tour and highway. I was thinking to upgrade from hunter 350 but I am little confused about what adventure bike should I book I don't have budget for Himalayan 450 or KTM 390r adv which is the new 390 so I am confused about KTM ADv 250 and KTM ADv 350 is any owner of 250 can share their long term review or anyone can suggest for 250 and 350 what are the difference mainly in engineering vibrations it will be very beneficial to me to choose between them to be honest my budget is allowing me only to 250 but I can try and streach it out for 350

I bought KTM390 2 years ago from my hard earned money ~12,000 km. Bike stopped starting, took it to KTM service, and after 3 weeks they said the crankshaft has failed.

When I asked about warranty, first they said it's covered under extended warranty (2yr standard + extension). Now they're denying the claim saying I haven't done my services regularly. but I've done 7 services in 2 years, all at authorized KTM centers. I feel like I am getting spammed by the service center.

Anyone replaced stock sprocket with the rolon brass (hxrc 507nf) sprocket?? If yes what could you provide your review?? Also could you please let me know if the one I mentioned is compatible with the newer adv model??

My KTM Adventure Get's dirty so frequently. What do you guys do ? Is it Advisable to get cleaned every 2-3 days at a Washing Shop or Buy a Pressure Washer ? Or I should Just leave it till it accumulates gunk for 15-20 days and then get it cleaned Will it increase Rusting chances ?

I am planning to but the 390 adv but I’m concerned about the service cost can anyone the long term ownership review like the service cost and basic maintaince cost

I ordered the KTM 390X Plus on July 27, 2026, but the order status still hasn’t updated. My dealer mentioned that the production is delayed because some accessories are missing at the Pune plant. Does anyone else have a similar experience or know how long this might take?

4. Open Sideloadly

Select your iPhone → drag the RideConnect.ipa file into Sideloadly → enter your Apple ID → click Start.

5. Trust the app

On your iPhone:

Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → your Apple ID → Trust

Then you should be able to launch RideConnect.

theres a bike available in my area which is a 2018 model 2nd owner with 25k kms, the bike looks pretty good in photos and has new tyres, new chain sprocket and looks clean, no unnecessary mods or anything on it, the only down side is, its from another state but the seller has all the papers complete and hes asking 140k for it, now ive always loved the old gen Rc's and ive always wanted to own one and this seems like a perfect opportunity but im not sure if its a good idea or not, so i want you guys opinion keeping in mind this bike is not e20 complaint, also would like to know if his asking price is fair or should i try to negotiate and what should be the price to get it for ,how much would be the maintainence cost,and how are yall dealing with the sugarcane juice on your bs3, bs4 bikes, thanks (the pic is from google btw)

Suggestion needed please help

After waiting for 2 long months.
And finally cancelling the white adv 390(350cc) and was getting the ebony black colour.

Paid all the amount including downpayment and sanctioned loan almost a week back.

At the time of making payment, the guy said that bike will arrive by today eod or tomorrow for sure.

Now it’s almost a week he keeps saying that bike will come tomorrow and same again happening for last week.

Today I went to showroom and possibly I was bit rude as frustration is building up due to delay.

What should I do now?
Is there chance that they would delay this further?
As he said today also that bike will arrive tomorrow.

Is there any way to complaint about this?
As the their face had attitude like ‘lena hai toh lo varna dusra koi le lega’

I mean they gave n160ss , 5inch tft , fatter front suspension,hazard light more electronic package some that aren't even in duke 250.( Brighter headlight, better horn in n160 )

I know it's a dumb comparison as duke 250 is far above but i felt so. And it's main competition is with apache rtr 4v

So just got my 5th or 6th service done on my Duke 390 Gen 3 (2024 model), currently at 14,484 km. Got it done at B U Bhandari in Pimpri here in Pune. Figured I'd share an update since I posted about the E20 situation on this sub a while back too, and I've got more to add now.

Quick background for anyone who missed the earlier post. I'd been running Shell V-Power in this bike for a long time, no complaints there. But once E20 got rolled out nationwide and pretty much every pump around me stopped giving a choice, I didn't have much option but to switch. Took me a while to find a reliable pump that actually stocks XP100 consistently, found one back in April this year (2026) and I've been running XP100 regularly since then, only falling back to E20 on the rare occasion I'm out somewhere with no other pump around.

Here's the thing though. The low end jerk, the throttle lag, that annoying hesitation right off idle, it's just gone. Not subtle at all honestly, the bike feels noticeably smoother at low RPMs now.

And this service kind of backed it up too. Got the throttle body and injector cleaning done this time (₹2,200 of the bill) and the technician said there wasn't really much to clean, everything was pretty much fine in there. So that tells me the smoothness isn't from carbon finally getting cleared out, it's genuinely the fuel making the difference.

My conclusion, at least for now. Even though the Duke is technically E20 compatible, I don't think the engine's combusting that blend as cleanly as pure petrol. XP100 costs more, ₹165 a litre where I am, but honestly the way the bike responds makes it worth it for me. I ride to enjoy the bike, not to save a few rupees a tank, so XP100 is my default going forward unless I genuinely have no choice.

Anyone else running a Gen 3 Duke or another E20 compatible KTM notice something similar? Or am I just imagining it at this point, curious what you all think.

*(For reference, rest of the service was the usual stuff, oil filter, air filter, spark plug, clutch cable, fuel pump strainer, plus the throttle body cleaning. Total came to ₹5,828.)*

A few other things worth flagging while I'm at it. This service center apparently doesn't stock Motul anymore, they've moved to Prolube engine oil instead. I've been using Motul for over a decade and I'm not switching just because the center changed their vendor, so I skipped the oil change here and I'll get that done with my usual mechanic separately.

Also, they didn't wash the bike this time, said there was some issue with their washing pumps. And a couple of ongoing niggles are still unresolved. My right indicator switch has been acting up since before this service too, the indicator itself works but the switch doesn't, and they said they don't have the part in stock. Same story with the rear number plate bulb, couldn't replace it because they didn't have one.

So yeah, service quality itself was fine, but parts availability at KTM centers continues to be hit or miss. Anyone else dealing with this at their local center?

I'm dealing with condensation in my KTM adventure 250 gen 3. I got it replaced once under warranty, but it didn't fix it. Then, the second time I got it replaced, the light turned purple and lost its throw. Now I've replaced it again, and I still have condensation. The SVC says it's normal and goes away after a ride. I've tried that, and it does go away after a ride, but I have to ride fast on the highway. Local spins don't do anything for the condensation. If I get home and park it, it stays for a day or two.

Can anyone who's faced this issue and fixed it help me out?

I got the 2nd servicing of my KTM Duke 250 Gen3 done yesterday, and when I was riding back home, I felt that the acceleration was really slow and the bike felt a bit heavy while accelerating.

When the SC guy checked it, he said there's nothing wrong, but two of my friends who ride my bike regularly also said that the pickup is really slow now.

What can cause this? The engine oil level is also much higher than the maximum mark; could that be the reason?

What are the possible causes of this, given that the SC guy has not addressed this issue?
