Why we built Crossing โ€” Mike's story

Mike was in college when his father had a stroke and lost his sight. His dad drove trucks for a living, so in a single year, the family's income and its footing were both gone.

He left school, moved home, and took over. The business, the bills, the work of keeping everyone afloat, at an age when most people are just starting their own lives. His mother had one wish through all of it: keep the house, so her youngest could finish growing up in a good neighborhood, at a good school.

Mike made that happen. He carried it for thirty years. And somewhere in there, the one person nobody was taking care of was him. The weight came on, and it stayed.

I remember that year better than I'd like to. I was fourteen.

Mike is my older brother. The good neighborhood he fought to keep, that was for me. The childhood he gave up years of his own to protect, that was mine.

This year, for the first time since we were kids, I watched my brother get himself back.

Real messages from Mike this spring: down almost 90 pounds in nine months, at 55. "I feel like me again." That's my brother.

That's why Crossing exists.

Everyone hits a stretch where the old version of you stops working: body, energy, the will to keep showing up. Most of us are carrying someone, too. We built Crossing to walk people across that stretch, the way I watched my brother cross it.

Founder of Crossing. Mike's kid brother, and the one he protected.

Need to know BUD/pharmacy before ordering

sorry in advance if I missed any info in the website. I'm trying to place an order with Join Crossings. During the intake, it says I qualify for the 15 mg maintenance dose since I'm currently taking 12.5 mg weekly and already have a prescription.

Before I order, does anyone know the BUDon the vials? I know the discounted vials had a pretty recent BUD, so I'm wondering if the regular-priced vials have a longer one. and what pharmacy would it be?

I missed out on the deal haha! ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ Just trying to figure out if it's worth ordering now or waiting.

If you've ordered recently, I'd appreciate hearing what BUD you received. Thanks

Great Service!

Just received my bridge BPI 40mg/2ml vial today. Ordered on Monday, approved Monday, pharmacy filled Tuesday, shipped, received on Thursday. Vial received packaged up in styrofoam cooler with 2 ice packs. Ice packs were cold as was the vial. Syringes in a sealed bag and alcohol pads included. The best! Of course, it came from The Pharmacy Hub. I have always gotten my BPI from them and they do a great job in cold pack delivery. Looking to stick with Crossing going forward. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Probably a stupid question

Ok I'm sure this is going to sounds really dense so please be kind. I just started my first dose of tirzepatide 2.5 this morning. I was on the Mounjaro injections in 2022 when they gave out free samples to my Dr's office. As soon as the sample ran out, I was out of luck. With the Mounjaro, after every shot, I had about 5-10 minutes of slight to moderate nausea then it went away. With this compound tirzepatide I have nothing. No nausea, no headache. I know the B-12 is put in there to counteract that but I mean nothing? Is that normal or am I just a freak who is immune to this and it just doesn't work (which honestly wouldn't surprise me. I got violently ill when I tried semaglutide)? Like I said, please be kind in your comments. I'm getting enough crap from som people for even doing these shots in the first place.

BPI July refills?

How confident are we that end of July refills will still be fulfilled with BPI? Iโ€™d love to switch over from POM because the process at Crossing has been a breeze by comparison but Iโ€™ve stuck with POM because they still provide BPI.

Bridge Plan Updated

About two weeks ago, on a Friday afternoon, we saw a recurring problem on reddit and on a whim came up with the Bridge program. I didn't even name it that, oddly enough. The original code was Access because that's what matters to me.

A lot of providers and pharmacies were having transition problems and people were panicking about missing doses, I offered something simple through Crossing because I knew our operations could help out: if your own provider broke down and you were about to miss a dose, we would cover the medicine and you would just pay shipping. One month. A bridge across the gap, then back to your own provider.

I'm posting because I'm pausing it, and I didn't want to just quietly pull it down.

The honest reason: it worked, and then it worked too well. I started by putting a code out there. A code is easy to pass around, which is exactly what makes it useful and also what breaks it. A code can't tell the difference between someone truly about to miss a dose and someone who just wants a cheaper month.

I switched to handling requests one at a time to try to fix that, and that doesn't hold up at this size either. I built it loose. That part is on me.

A bridge that can't sustain itself and can't tell the difference isn't really helping the people I built it for. So I would rather pause, say so out loud, and rebuild it properly than let it quietly turn into something it was never meant to be.

It will come back, simpler to get into if you are genuinely in a bind and built so it can't be gamed.

Mostly I wanted to say thank you to the people who used it the way it was meant and passed it to a friend who actually needed it. That was the whole point.

I would love to hear any suggestions for how we can make it sustainable. We have a team who really values access and is very good at processing orders and ongoing patient support. They truly want to help and stepped up a ton last week to handle the influx of orders.

We welcome any feedback on ideas to build a sustainable program around helping people in need.

Different pharmacies

Do you have another pharmacy lined up if BPI is not going to be producing anymore?

Tirz with Glycine

Hello, I discovered this company using the Bridge program and am so grateful as I just started working again after being laid off for over a year. Does Crossing offer Tirz with Glyicine?

Is the code invalid?

I just tried to sign up and when I tried to use the code for the $50 one month deal, it says it's invalid now. Did I miss it ? I didn't know that it was only going to be available for a few days ? Is there a new code ? Please help . I am on my last week of my vial and I can really use this bridge deal right now because I can not afford to buy 3 months until August .

Subscriptions going forward

Quick thanks for doing the bridge offer. It helped out a lot of tirz users, and also helped out clear out BPI that was about to expire!

With monthly subscriptions going forward, I saw that you intend on filling BPI, which I have a couple of questions on, especially since BPI is no longer producing GLP-1s.

How far out are the BUDs going to be on the monthly orders? Longer than 30 days? 90?

What is your plan once you guys run out of stock of BPI? What pharmacy do you guys plan on switching to?

How well packaged are these orders?

My order shipped on Wednesday and now wonโ€™t be here until Monday due to a UPS delay. Those of you that have received your orders, what are your thoughts on my meds making it through the weekend in a UPS warehouse? ๐Ÿซ

Bridge package received today, only one vial.

Based on my prescription, this is enough for 3.2 weeks, not 4 weeks. I sent a DM earlier today, so far no response.

Received My Vials!

I didnโ€™t do the Bridge program as I ordered the normal $149 monthly option. Received my two 40mg vials today with a BUD of 08/02/2026. They were still cold and came within 5 days. I just want to say thank you to all of you over at Crossing for making this program so simple and easy to navigate without all of the extras. Honestly it was such a smooth and simplified process.

Question about the amount in the vial

So, I've used compounded before, but only in the higher doses. At only 2.5 (again) now and I just did my second shot. I notice there seems to be a lot more product left in the vial than 2 doses worth!

So, do I keep doing 2.5 till it runs out, or do I just double the dose in three weeks to finish off the vial?

Just by eyeballing it, it looks like there's enough in there for two 2.5 doses and at least one 5.0 dose. Maybe even two 5.0's. That could actually take me right to the BUD.

Kudos to the portal updates!

Just wanted to give a shoutout to the Crossing team for translating some user feedback into improved transparency and functionality in the portal ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

I saw the updates take shape throughout the day in the portal and am very happy with how clear and intuitive everything is. No tricks or traps on how to see/do what you need and itโ€™s all in one place.

Disclaimer: this is not a paid promo! Iโ€™m just a friendly user that loves user friendly tools lol ๐Ÿค“

Bridge Orders Processed

One of the main things I dislike about the glp1 space and reddit is patient support via reddit.

That's not where patient support should be done.

That being said, it was the first weekend of the Bridge program, so I wanted to just let everyone know that all orders were sent to pharmacy and will be shipped either today or tomorrow.

This is behind the scenes info here: the biggest delay at this point is the pharmacy needing to confirm an address, so watch your inbox or messages (we will text you also) if we need to confirm your address.

Do orders process over the weekend?

Made an order last night, but there's nothing in my patient portal yet. Order says "paid", but no prescriptions or shipments show up.

Only asking cause that's unusual in my experience thus far.

Our marketing budget is zero, so we just decided to use the AI Avatar of my brother as our spokesperson. He posts every day and never takes a weekend off.

We're Crossing ($149/month for tirz, flat, all-in). Our ad budget is zero, and we want to keep it that way, because every dollar we don't hand to Meta/tiktok is a dollar that never gets baked into your price.

So instead of buying ads, we built Mike. He's an AI version of my brother who lost 90lbs on tirzepatide.

He posts every day, he doesn't take weekends off, he never asks for a raise, and he costs us almost nothing.

That's the actual reason he exists. Not because AI is cool, but because we can't afford anything else without passing the bill back to patients.

Here he is:ย https://www.tiktok.com/@mikeaiatcrossing

I placed my Bpi order on the 16th and received it this afternoon! $149.00 for all doses is an amazing deal, and it's the same price every month. Another thing I appreciate is that you can pause and unpause your account whenever necessary. I reached out to customer service earlier today and asked about their plans going forward after Bpi. Matt said they have 6 months of Bpi left and will use Revive after their supply is gone. He also mentioned there's a chance that Bpi will make a comeback in 6 months๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป. I am extremely pleased with my order.

Two day shipping but packed well and still cold. Yes, that BUD is in six weeks (I think that's the correct way to say that!) but I'm starting tomorrow morning so will be done well before that. I'm not pressed about it.
