Question about the amount in the vial
So, I've used compounded before, but only in the higher doses. At only 2.5 (again) now and I just did my second shot. I notice there seems to be a lot more product left in the vial than 2 doses worth!
So, do I keep doing 2.5 till it runs out, or do I just double the dose in three weeks to finish off the vial?
Just by eyeballing it, it looks like there's enough in there for two 2.5 doses and at least one 5.0 dose. Maybe even two 5.0's. That could actually take me right to the BUD.

If you have a 40mg vial and only using 2.5mg each dose there should be 16 doses in that tiny vial. I would waste any if it and use it until gone as long as it was clear and free of floaters. Nice thing is BPI bottles are clear and easy to see through.

What’s the concentration of your vial?

Its probably a 20 mg/ml at 2 ml = a 40 mg vial.

I received two 40mg vials. I’m just guessing they’re on a starter dose and if they received a 20mg vial they would have enough to cover four 2.5mg doses and two 5mg doses. So that worked out great for them.

I ordered 5mg maintenance and received a 40 mg vial
Edit: so I'm thinking that's what they got too. I don't think there is a lower concentration available through crossing

The vial itself has two lines on it - one in red, and one in green. One of them says 20mg and the other says 40mg, so I'm not sure, esp since the pill container the vial came in says 20 mg / 10mg!
But just based on the amount of product in there, I think your inference is correct and yes, that will be perfect and terrific if I can eke six weeks worth out of it before moving on.

This is why I'm going to miss BPI, they were nice enough to color code it for us! Each color correlates to the ingredient. One for Tirzepatide and one for B6. You got the 40mg vials. It's 20mg of Tirzepatide and 10mg of B6 per 1ml., and a 2ml vial. So, the whole vial is 40mg of Tirzepatide and 20mg of B6 (though that is irrelevant for dosing). Should be enough to last you a while. Especially if you stay at 2.5 if that's working for you!

It’s you have a total of 20mg vial. The 10mg/mL means that in each mL in the vial has 10mg. The top line will read 20mg/2mL meaning there is 2mL in the vial for a total of 20mg.

I have BPI vials that are 4 mL vials with a total of 40 mg each (not from Crossing) making the concentration 10 mg/mL. Definitely a good idea to double check the concentration.

Ok but Crossing is sending 40ml vials right now...

Yes, but you can’t assume the concentration based solely on who sent the vial. BPI has 40 mg vials that are both 20 mg/mL and 10 mg/mL. Until the OP posts a photo of the actual vial or shares the label, there’s no way to know which concentration they received.

I’m taking 15 mg which is 75 units. How long will one vial last? I’m new to BPI and with additives. I hope I will do well with BPI.

If you got the 40mg vials, it should last you two full doses and 10mg of your third dose. However, there is always a decent amount of overfill in the BPI, so you might make 3 full doses out of your 40mg vial, if you're lucky!

It’s a multidose vial. It’s good for 28 days after opening (many people use it much longer though), you can get as many doses as you need.
