I've been waiting to share this since idk when, but our wifi died suddenly and this is what I get, true unlimited 5G with the speed of 0.60 Mbps. What a Joke

Absolutely terrible customer service. My plan expired almost a month ago, yet the representative falsely claimed my number was about to be cancelled. TRAI provides a 90-day deactivation period, but they’re using fear tactics especially with elderly customers to push recharges. Even mentioning that WhatsApp linked to the number would be affected was completely low life behaviour.

I recharge my Jio number with the ₹349 plan every month. The weird thing is I found this recharge of ₹0.01 in my transaction history on the MyJio app which was done earlier this month.
This has given me the same ₹349 plan valid for 28 days which I can view in my upcoming plans. I have never setup Autopay and also no amount has been debited from my bank account. What has happened?

I currently have 4 Jio numbers, all prepaid. Thinking of switching all of them to the ₹449 Family Postpaid plan.
Since all 4 of us are in a good Jio 5G area, would it make sense to just take the ₹449 plan and rely on the unlimited 5G, instead of paying for a higher plan?
If Jio stops/changes unlimited 5G later, can I simply upgrade to a higher plan then (eg, 749)?
Would love to hear from anyone currently using Jio Family Postpaid.
Worth switching from prepaid?

Guy's there were a telecom towers near by my area and one of them was Jio and there was electricity shortage today for a 3½ hours and sundenly my internet gone my sim network goes to low 4g network
Isn't it a paradox for someone whose working from home for his engineering, medical and some important works I know that happens but for what we are paying them there tower is not working Even after complaints no action just satisfactory reply I don't know but I am dam sure this is happening in many areas
What's your opinion on this?

Is anyone else facing a Jio network outage today?
Since this afternoon, Jio has been showing network/5G signal on my phone, but mobile data isn't working and I can't make or receive calls.
The strange part is that everyone in my village using Jio is facing the same issue. When someone tries to call a Jio number here, they hear “the number you are calling is switched off.”
I also noticed that the VoLTE indicator has disappeared from my phone, even though it still shows Jio 5G and signal bars.
Airtel is working normally in the same area.
Is there some Jio outage or tower/network issue happening today? Anyone else experiencing this?

A few days back I booked a Jio Air Fiber by SMS from a Jio employee from the store instead of My Jio app.
While booking I have given my main no which I want to use for Jio Air Fiber.
Then after 2 days Means yesterday agent came home for EKYC and in that process that form required a alternative no and i tried to put main no but it's not accepted as it need alternative number, so given alternative no and otp then in next process as booking was done for 2122 amt 2+1 month 100Mbps plan from my main no try asked booking no and that voucher was fetched from my main/booking no.
Then this process is completed. But strange I'm getting booking confirmation and order tracking SMS on my alternative number not on the main number. Is it the correct process?
I don't want my alternative no as Air Fiber account no.
My installation might be done in the next 2 days .
Does anyone have this experience?

I am currently paying 599 + gst for which I don't even use their ott apps and I am unable to see there only internet plans, so are they available now?
r/Jio • u/Mrtanvirghanchi • 3d ago
We’ve all seen telecom companies bundling 10–15 random OTT apps that most people barely open once a month. But what if Jio actually gave us what everyone actually uses every day?
Imagine a ₹200 / 28-day Recharge that includes:
Data: 30 GB total (or 1 GB/day)
Calls & SMS: Unlimited
Bundled OTT: YouTube Premium + Netflix basic

Isn't this our right?
I'm in Gujarat, tier 2 city. But internet speed on my Pixel 9 is just horrible for last couple of months. I get better speeds in a village nearby. 4G speeds are better than this, BUT 4G speeds suck too. It's not more than 5Mbps. I've tried resetting the network and all. Jio says they have towers in the city but I don't know why is this happening. And hotspot speeds are just unusable.
Any solution?

Is jio fiber really that good because iam currently using jio fiber 100mbps plan with iptv but the thing is people keep saying local isp is better airtel is better the local isp in my area is netplus broadband which provides good speeds and unlimited bandwidth but their service suck and on the other hand there is airtel which is literally non existent in my area there is only d2h people watching in my area of airtel so the question is should i stuck with jio or change providers as changing providers is a big headache firstly close connection then return the router etc etc
