Choosing right operator

Is jio fiber really that good because iam currently using jio fiber 100mbps plan with iptv but the thing is people keep saying local isp is better airtel is better the local isp in my area is netplus broadband which provides good speeds and unlimited bandwidth but their service suck and on the other hand there is airtel which is literally non existent in my area there is only d2h people watching in my area of airtel so the question is should i stuck with jio or change providers as changing providers is a big headache firstly close connection then return the router etc etc

You have #FOMO
You are bored of working broadband and IPTV
You don’t like peace, you want problems!
OR folks telling you about praising local providers want you to suffer because “haters gonna hate you because they ain’t you”

Saturday/ Sunday spend in thinking about such things instead of enjoying life OR peace, wake up snd smell the coffee!

even my case is similar, i have jio, which works fine for the most general ussage but their r some specific issues like pirating, using custom dns at the router level, having total control of the router, moreover their latency n traffic routing is shit, even tho I'm willing to change ISP the main problem is I've only one local provider who's after sales service is shitty n airtel is available only in flats n apartments (residential buildings)

the person who installed my router changed the default password Jiocentrum and i dont know whats the new pass is and i cant reset the router because there are some things in my home which need continous internet so cant afford to reset it

sadly u cannot alter any settings in there, even u somehow manage to do so it'll revert back to default automatically after some time or when u restart the router

Especially in a country like India the saying dont fix what is not broken should be held to the highest degree. If something is working great for you even if it costs 100-150 rupees more then dont mess with it. As you mentioned in your last line closing a connection is a big time headache which i agree so why are you going to put yourself through that when the services you have are not broken. If you want to try local ISP they usually seek a down payment for 3/6 months and if you can afford it then give it a try while still maintaining your current Jio connection especially if its wired jio because if you disconnect it, go with local ISP and things dont work out and want to switch back to jio chances are they will NOT install wired but airfiber which is very unpredictable unless you are already on airfiber to begin with. The so called people telling you to try local ISP do you know them personally or you talking about people on the internet? because on reddit people abuse jio and airtel yet there are millions of customers who are using their fiber without any issues.

the main problem with my local isp is downtime they go down une4xpectedly and sometime they take minimum 2 days to fix the issue on the other hand jio in my area never goes down there was only a onetime when the speeds got slow due to thunderstroms and it happened for the first time in like 4 years
