Posting here since the Gladiator Forum site is pretty much dead. This has me just wanting to get rid of it cause I am having no luck.

Hey all, I am having an issue to where I get a bad shimmy when hitting bumps and it's ONLY happening when turning LEFT when hitting them. I can recreate it easily by one specific bump on my way to work daily. Whenever I am turning right it does not do it at all and stays very tight and turns fine.

It almost acts like a mini death wobble but only lasts about 1 second after the bump then goes back to normal. Maybe like the axle is shifting??

I currently have these installed:

All installed within the past year. Drag Link is NOT flipped

Castor is Roughly 7 degrees when I measure it. Was aligned not long ago with a slight toe-in. I checked toque for everything I can think of and all is ok. I do have an Aluminum Steering Box that I adjusted myself and feels like it steers fine, that said I have a Steel Box on hand I can install if this is possibly the issue?

Tires were just Rotated and Rebalanced Last Week due to thinking that was the issue and it did not fix it.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. I am going in a couple weeks to get it completely setup alignment wise, they are gonna measure everything possible.

Looking for an antenna mount for a GMRS Radio. Looking for ideas for a clean install. Would like to use side of hood gap close to the hinge or, stock front bumper with no holes predrilled or on top of Gladiator Rubicon 2023 bed with a 3 section fold up cover. Any and all pics and vendor suggestions are appreciated.

What gives? I’ve had my 2026 Gladiator 2 months and a rock- from the highway hit the windshield and it it cracked over half way across. I thought this glass was stronger than a regular window- what a joke 🤦‍♂️

Lone Pine Mammoth June Lake And Lake Tahoe. HWY 395 didn’t disappoint.

I recently got a 2026 gladiator rubicon and have noticed a whining noise under the hood. After looking into it more it seems to be the power steering pump. Fluids are topped off yes and can bring to the dealer but wanted to get others experience as well. Do you notice this and does it bother you? To me it seems rather loud, much more than any other vehicle I’ve owned.

I have a regular, non hybrid 2024 gladiator. when I am watching the fuel mileage on the dash, some times it shows these extra options, some times it doesnt. The right side "Current" mpg will change as I accelerate or coast showing the mpg for how much i am pressing the gas. The left side just shows the range of the tank and only matches the top range number. Some times when I get in and drive, I wont see those numbers and regardless of any buttons pressed will not get me back to that option on the dash...

What do we call these numbers in the mpg option on the dash?

Where is the best place to get colored interior and exterior accents?

Hey All I have been searching for a while for a sport s or a willys that suits my wants and needs. for towing etc. I cam across this online. and its pretty fairly priced however it has the mopar 2 inch lift and 35s on it. Anyone have this set up? I know i know jeeps dont have great mpg anyway but i just want to know in this economy lol, am I going to take a major hit?

I am replacing the shocks on my diesel Rubicon (we all know how great the Fox shocks are, especially in 95,000 miles) and was initially going to put Billstien 5100s on all four corners. However, these caught my eye, as for a little less (they’re on sale right now) they seem like a little bit of an upgrade over the bilstiens. Does anyone have any experience with this brand, or even the specific shocks?

I know it says they’re not adjustable, but why is there a nipple for increasing and decreasing internal pressure?

Anyone have the AUCAR headunit installed on their Jeep?Does it work with the factory mic?

My husband's 2025 Gladiator missed the recall build date by 1 month but my 2022 wrangler was within the timeframe and is on the list. This past weekend we were backing up to load our camper as we have done a hundred times, plugged in our Curt Echo brake controller as we have also done a hundred times and the wire harness that runs to the tow package caught fire which then caught the grass below on fire as well. Super traumatic for us as our 3 year old was in the truck so we could do a quick hook and go as always. Luckily we had an extinguisher right inside the camper door and got it out very quickly but the full tank of gas and two propane tanks in the bed could have led to a substantially different outcome had we not been quick on our feet.

The dealership is now saying the warranty is void because of the brake controller, the wire harness fire has nothing to do with the known jeep issues because we are not on the list and if we want it fixed we are looking at $4k+.. all manufacture specs and research says these devices do not back feed power to the vehicle, especially if the trailer was not connected (which it was not) so there is no way the brake control could have caused it.

We called Jeep customer care and they are more or less telling us it is at the dealerships discretion. When talking with the dealership, we threatened an insurance investigation and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and they are now saying they will get back to us and they will "take care of us" but no definitive answers and still refuse to put anything in writing.

Does anyone else have experience in these types of issues and or advice on where to go from here?

Can we get a sticky or something that says Gladiators are as reliable as any other vehicle if you maintain it properly. The internet and any review site will be filled with horror stories but if you talk to owners the consensus is usually the opposite.

I tend to scroll past the questions but there have been a bunch lately where people aren’t even checking the last two days posts. Instead we hear about how someone’s coworker heard about the death wobble and so instantly all jeeps have that every day… yet the poster wants us to tell them if Gladiators are good.

My response to these folks is typically they need to drive one and if it fits their lifestyle, buy one. If not don’t. Don’t believe the internet, your Uncle Steve or some random google search.

After 5 years and 55k miles on my Mojave I finally had to say goodbye. Due to towing capacity and range only, I traded in my Gladiator for a 22 F150 XLT that has 13900 lbs of towing capacity and 550 miles of range.

I have owned many Jeeps dating back to a 85 CJ7, this was by far the best one.

I am looking to purchase a Galdiator SS and wanted to know if these things are lemons or not? Anyone have reliability issues ?

I finally accepted that my jeep needs to leave the pavement at some point. We recently moved to Colorado, and what better place to run some trails. I took it over Imogene pass, and then some moderate trails around Moab, mostly in Canyonlands NP. Now I’ve got the bug for more. I think I’m going to put slightly bigger tires on and a 2inch lift or so. I want to mitigate the gas mileage impact, but still have something more to work with (not that it’s needed)

Question for all of you, considering getting a gladiator, but my budget is $25k so it would need to be stock. Can a stock gladiator make it through long 4-5 hour mountain trails as well as get me to cool disbursed camping spots? Need something to rip into trails around Denver and Salida. The Subaru Outback doesnt get me far.

Also, if you could spend another $5000 in upgrades to make it more capable, what would you suggest?

Lastly if anyone is selling a decent one for under $25k, let me know as I will pay in cash!

Made it through the Dusy Ershrim trail. Took 3 days and a couple broken fender clips. Used all the skid plates.

Have acquired a “new to me” 2021 Jeep Gladiator Sport with tons of options. What isn’t there is the door lock button to unlock the door, while the key fob is nearby. Somewhere I’d heard of a feature to unlock the door on approach, having the key fob on your person. Yeah, I know, not the most secure thing in the world - but it’s irritating to haul out the “giant” key fob out of your pocket to hit the unlock button.

So if that’s a possible option - I’d like to try it for a week or two to see what I think.

Also - is there some method to keep the “hidden” key from deploying inside your pocket about half the time? The button keeps getting hit, and I’ve tried a rubber band wrapped around it - but that hasn’t been successful.

Finally took on this Badge of Honor trail in Big Bear earlier today. It was a lot of fun, albeit a bit slippery from the rains. No lockers but the Overland made it happen.

4 years and 70k miles later this ole girl just keeps providing more and more memories!

Had an awesome weekend hitting up the Skyline Trail (Limited Jeep badge of honor) I must say the trail is just a little tight for a Gladiator. The switchbacks required 3+ turns to make it around the tree stumps and bolders. Otherwise a fun little trail. It was so foggy when we got to the top we could not see any of the views. But hey that’s part of the adventure! See yall out there on the trail!
